At the sudden sound Absolon froze, but then looked up upon hearing someone speak. He listened to her, attempting to ignore the pain dizzying him.

"… I… Ugh- F… Fine, I won’t do it again!"

Promptly ignoring her question, he shakily and stiffly stood up. A pained laugh escaped him as he almost immediately fell back down- straightening himself out once more.

"No, I’m… I am perfectly fine! Why would I n-need help…?"

Nanami sighed, noticing how low the other’s Heath was. He slid her bag off and reached into it, pulling out three fortune tickets and holding them out to Absolon. “Here…free of charge. I believe you need them more than anyone.”

He was just about to wobble off when the items were handed to him. At first he stared at them skeptically. Honestly, Absolon was fully prepared to ignore her and walk away.

But then he took a moment to let his mind actually focus, rather than block everything out to subside the pain.

It all hurt so much that he thought he was going to pass out.

Quickly but begrudgingly he took the tickets, using them on himself. With that he smiled, acting as if his hurt never happened.

"That was a rather kind offer~ Don’t know what within your odd mind made you want to help me, but it is appreciated."

And so he wobbled away, still a little dizzy. Wobble wobble.

"I decided to help you because you needed help. It's as simple as that. And, if you need anymore healing items just come to me. I'll give you more." Sure she might get a scolding from Zacharie for giving away items for free again but she couldn't help it. She didn't like seeing others suffer, no matter who they were. "Do you need anymore help..? "Okay!" She was happy she finally met someone who was willing to help her. She was a little too excited, she was jumping around a little bit. But then she remembered something.

"C-can we go somewhere s-safe please? Th-there are a lot of scary mon-monsters that tr-tried to hurt me and I d-don’t want them t-to see me."

Her knees were trembling. She’s encountered several monsters when she wandered into this world and is terrified of them. She tried to run back to the previous world she was in but they cut her off. She barely escaped them, losing her bag of supplies.

"A-and could you help me f-find my bag later. I had the l-last of my food i-in there. As well as the sword my guardian gave me."

Nanami giggled quietly at seeing the girl's excitement. It was an adorable sight to see.

With the girl's words of worry Nanami gave a small nod, her smile still remaining on her lips. Even though she was small, she could still fight rather well. There was a reason Zacharie allowed her to go around the zones by herself.

"Of course we can go somewhere safe. I know just the place. Also, as long as I'm with you there is no need to worry about the scary monsters okay?"

She held her hand out for the little girl to hold so she could lead her.

"I'm Chiaki Nanami by the way, what is your name?"

He stared, unblinking. It was odd that she knew his name and that he had never once seen her. Zacharie ignored the greeting and simply asked, “Who are you?" It was obvious that she had met an alternate of him, but that didn’t help him in any way.

The girl tilted her head to the side slightly, looking over the merchant in front of her. He seemed to be considerably younger than the Zacharie she knew. Then again, Zacharie had told her that each file and its inhabitants were different. Himself included.

"T-thank you, t-the thing is th-though; I d-don’t know if h-he is even here in th-this world. He left to g-go get something, I-I forgot what, and he’s been gone f-for a long time. I’ve been wandering th-these past f-few days t-to try and find h-him. Y-you are the first person I-I’ve met s-since I-I left."

She doesn’t fully remember when Deemo left, nor when she left to find him. She just knows it’s been several days.

The world they were in was huge...finding one person that could be anywhere in any of the three zones would be hard. But...Nanami couldn't just give up.

"How about this, I have a friend who goes around this entire world quite often. I can tell him to keep an eye out for your guardian while we look more carefully. if we do not find him, I can take you back to where you came from. Maybe he's waiting for you."

The ghost seemed very surprised by her sudden offer. What did she mean? Was she selling stuff? He didn’t have any money…

Even so, he didn’t want to be rude and just turn her down.

"U-Uhm… do you… have any f-food?"

It was the only thing that popped to mind that he could possibly need.

Unlike Zacharie who managed to forget his meal no matter where he was, Nanami packed a lunch for herself. It was rather simple...Rice with cooked silver flesh that had been marinated in a sauce that Nanami had made herself. She didn't mind giving it to the ghost. So, she slipped off her pink bag and rummaged through it, pulling out her boxed lunch and a fork.

"Here you go." She held it out towards ghosty.

Nanami's eyes saddened. Being all alone was a very sad thing...

Stuttering and stumbling over his words, the ghost tried his best to regain his composure as he fumbled with his hands.

She couldn't help but find this Batter rather cute. He looked like some sort of adorable companion you would have with you on your quest. He didn't seem mean in the slightest. Perhaps he was an exception?
