Well that sure was underwhelming and here is why:

TBB SPOILERS AHEAD

Okay so. Let's start with the most obvious and no doubt most popular topic. Crosshair.

He got his redemption but... it wasn't really clear if he still has his chip or not. He's still with the empire so the build up of him coming back was kind of ruined. Season 2 will be repetitiv at best. Crosshair goes to the Empire > Crosshair gets ordered to catch the bad batch > Redemption but not really.

I'd rather not??

Like why should they even come back for Crosshair. They left him for dead??

YEAH. Alright.

That was really underwhelming to begin with.

The whole episode was really dark but i don't mind that. It was just hard to see in some shots.

AZI sacrificing himself was sad af but i'm used to my droid boys dying so i was used to it. Him being rescued by Crosshair was sooo nice but also almost felt like fanservice and baiting just to shatter expectations.

At least nobody died amirite.

Sure they hinted a new big topic with Nala Se but why destroy a huge ass cloning base when you have another big project.....

Maybe i just don't get it but eh. Seems counter productive to me.

I'm not saying the episode was bad just kind of underwhelming for a last episode? Maybe we just need to see what Season 2 will start off with. Maybe it'll be more shattering and make more sense.

Another thing, the bad batch looks so... normal leaving Crosshair behind? Sure Clones don't hug but i kind of expected more than just 'we're not enemies'. He is your brother goddammit.

The Cliffhanger was evil but i'm pretty much used to that in star wars media.

At least the ending didn't feel rushed. It just felt repetitive. Ehhhhhh.

Feel free to prove me wrong. But it just felt 'sad for the sake of it'.

Like what are they gonna do now? Leave Crosshair out of the show completely? Use him as a normal soldier? He is a Traitor. They will most likely just kill him off at the next possibility.

At least all of them live? I guess???
