We are very sorry to see that some people are discouraging people from joining our event. Having read through their concerns, we can sympathize with their point of view and do not wish them any ill will or problems regardless of how they feel about this charity event. This event is intended to allow people to donate their money, their time and creative pursuits, to an important cause. Charity is the centrepoint of this event, and the chosen beneficiary is Palestine. We have chosen to support Palestine because we believe in doing whatever we can to help people who are suffering at the hands of a Zionist genocide.
Raising money for Palestine is the point of this event, it is the sole intention of all the admins. We have all dedicated a significant amount of our time to running this event, and would like to draw a line under this conversation so that we can continue to dedicate our time to a good cause, rather than online discourse. On that note, we are dedicated to conducting this event in a professional manner. What exactly does that mean to us?
All money donated goes directly to helping the Palestinian people. All admins, writers, artists, and editors are donating their time and creativity directly to help Palestine. No admin has ever touched any of the donated money, and no admin ever will.
Admin personal accounts, opinions, and lives do not affect or influence the event itself. Personal and fandom biases will be put aside while organizing the event.
All ships are welcome in the prompts.
We will ensure everyone who donates something as part of this event gets the fan creation that they want to see.
We will not engage with or incite any fandom discourse.
We will continue to focus on the most important part of this event, which is the causes we are supporting and the people in Palestine we are trying to help.
Moving forward, we will ensure that this is the way in which the event is conducted in order to dispel anyone's concerns that they may have. We are very sorry for any words or actions on our part which have caused people concern. We will do better! To our creatives who are joining in with the event, please do not engage any further with the posts that are calling the organisers of this event evil and hateful. Please do not engage with anything which is showing the event in a negative light, not even if it is to defend us. We wish to move forward with this and regain the focus on the positive impact of this event instead of the negativity coming from some people outside of the event. If you have any questions or concerns, please do contact us directly. You know where you can talk to us! We are giving you a trust level and have opened the anon function and curious cat again.
