More characters from Spin's world!
I've done Sally, I've done Tails, and now I've done some more minor characters that are important to the world as a whole!
In Spin's world, Uncle Chuck was never actually related to him. He was just a kind elderly hedgehog named Charles, and "Uncle Chuck" was a moniker given to him by the whole town.
He was one of the few people Spin grew to trust, apart from Sally & Miles, but he unfortunately passed away from natural causes at his old age. They were just hanging out together in public when the old-timer suddenly keeled over from a heart attack.
Spin would watch him die and be helpless to revive him. And of course, whoever witnessed the scene would immediately blame Chuck's death on Spin because they all feared him.
In his younger days, Chuck was a bit of a speedster himself, as well as a war veteran against Robotnik's forces.
This version of Antoine is not just a bumbling coward; far from it, actually. He's the captain of the Acorn Royal Guard, and pretty much King Acorn's right hand.
He enlisted to be a guardsman in his middle teens, making him a little over a decade older than Spin and Sally. He lost his eye in the battle that killed the Queen, and for his valor, he was awarded a medal and promoted to captain.
King Acorn appointed Antoine to be Sally's personal bodyguard since childhood. He wanted his daughter to be betrothed to Antoine as well, but she consistently brushed him off in favor of Spin. Antoine and his troops would regularly terrorize Spin, as the hedgehog was perceived as a threat by all of Knothole.
The two of them remained enemies (and romantic rivals) even while working as Freedom Fighters together, but after the world collapsed, he regretted his actions along with King Acorn. If Antoine had been able to remain in the real world, he and Spin would be awkward frenemies.
Bunnie was a country gal who lived in the more rural area of the Kingdom of Acorn. She is around the same age as Sally and Spin, as she was born after the takeover of Mobotropolis.
Being that her home was so far from civilization, her community was easy pickings for Robotnik's army. She and many others were kidnapped and taken to the Doctor's secret base in what became Robotropolis; there, Robotnik tested the prototype of the Veg-O-Machine on the Mobians.
Less than half survived the roboticization procedure. Those who did were fully roboticized and made a part of Robotnik's army.
Except Bunnie.
Before the process could finish, King Acorn's soldiers stormed the base and rescued Bunnie from the machine. It cost her an arm and a leg, but her mind was intact.
She was brought back to Knothole, where she met Sally and volunteered herself as a Freedom Fighter. The two became fast friends, and Bunnie would fight the Badniks with her trusty lasso.
Later in life, Spin would be nearly fully roboticized by the actual Veg-O-Machine, only barely surviving thanks to the collapse of his world. When Bunnie was briefly revived for his and Sally's wedding, the two of them bittersweetly bonded over their matching metal parts (although Spin had it worse).
