Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik Split After Seven Months of Dating

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are no longer together.

The young couple have split after dating for seven months, PEOPLE has learned.

However, a source tells PEOPLE that “it seems like it’s not totally over” between the couple, suggesting it’s more of a break.

Hadid, 21, and Malik, 23, first sparked romance rumors in November when they stepped out together at an American Music Awards afterparty.

On May 2, the model and the former One Direction band member made their stylish red carpet debut as a couple at the Met Gala.

They also highlighted their romance for Vogue’s May issue, starring in a PDA-packed feature.

Hadid also starred in Malik’s music video for his first single “PillowTalk” in January.
