One of my favorite tropes is post apocalyptic towns being named after dilapidated signs with missing letters, like Novac (no vacancy) and Eaden (dead end). There’s something inexplicable about it

me on a first date: Everyone always says Legend of Korra retconned the origin of bending, but the thing people fail to realize is that humans only learned the ART of bending from animals/moon/. Those things didn't GIVE them bending, it just taught them how to use it. This is illustrated beautifully during the scene where Wan learns the art of firebending from the dragons, echoing the scene where Zuko and Aang learn firebending from the last living dragons in the episode "The Firebending Masters"
