I think what kane parsons really excels at is capturing a shot + a vibe. genuinely some really stunning visuals: strong shot composition/framing, interesting cuts, nice color grading. the score was also pretty excellent. underlying concepts were compelling (another thing he's good at—worldbuilding) but I think the writing is something that can be improved upon w future installments. also as always renate reinsve one chance..
