AL HURRIYA + concert franco - Soudanese Friday 5 we celebrated the release of my shortfilm Al Hurriya - Freedom - Liberté in our independent cinema in Calais. Followed by the documentary Beats of the Antonov directed by Hajooj Kuka, a film about resistance and culture in Nuba mountains in Sudan.  After that we gathered to play music in an improvised French - Sudanese band, with local musicians & Sudanese flutist Ghandi Adam. A rare occasion to get gather around multicultural events as they are forbidden by local authorities.

Excited to announce that the limited edition Lovestreams Keyboard Decals that were for sale at the Late Night Work Club Los Angeles screening are now available for purchase online!

This is a very cool stick decal that can be applied to keyboards, notebooks, or anything (each key is an individual sticker!). It was designed by Rachel Ho RuiZhen with drawings by me.  Designed for MacBooks, but works well on any keyboard (I have some on my Lenovo PC laptop)

All of the proceeds from this sale are being donated to the ACLU and Planned Parenthood.

Huge thank you to everyone who sent me photos and participated in this Lovestreams Smiley portrait project!  It was a lot of fun getting to 50 of these for a bunch of friends, acquaintances and strangers.  I’m a big fan of the independent animation community, it’s an extremely supportive bunch and I’m very happy to be surrounded by so many smart, funny & talented folks.  I hope we can fight the good fight and make some tight stuff in 2017 :)
