Rewatching the earlier episodes of Lovely Runner and their high school era was most definitely my favorite part of the whole drama series 🥺

Can we pretend this is a simple story about two high schoolers who are experiencing first love? They both have the biggest crush on each other (but haven’t confessed yet), all their friends tease them, they are always looking for excuse to see each other despite the fact that they’re literal neighbors… just pure puppy love that eventually blossoms into something more. They go on to attend the same university and officially start dating. Once they graduate, they follow their respective career paths but maintain long distance relationship for a little bit. And eventually, they get married surrounded by all their family and friends and have two adorable kids and adopt a dog. Happy ending!

Episode 13 and I’m officially confused with the whole time travel/serial killer plot. But I don’t really care. I just ignore the technicalities of it and focus on the cute fluffy parts.

Ok scratch what I said yesterday. episode 14 redeemed itself.

I think this timeline was very much needed even if Sol is all heartbroken and sad. This timeline further solidifies the whole idea that they’re soulmates. That no matter how much she pushes Sun-Jae away with her cold behavior, he’s still gonna pursue her even though he doesn’t even know why.

No matter what when where, they’re meant to fall in love every time.

I don’t even care about the plot or the killer, I just love Sol and Sun-Jae so much!!!
