So things got steamy and this happened. Spotted  - Malcolm looking pissed.

@lau-simblr-ren​ Thought I would answer this with some pics, hope it helps.

I’m using the “Ritzy Wood Panelling” wall that came with Roaring Heights.

Top left pic is how it comes in game. I applied an EA paint pattern to it, as shown in pic 2, top right. 

You’ll see you have two colour channels to play around with, select the first channel, select your colour and you see the result in pic 3. I usually just drag and drop the newly made colour straight on the the second colour channel to the right, and change it ever so slightly. Either slightly lighter or darker, or in this case, a little bluer. Hope you can see that? 

When I’m happy with my colours, I then drag and drop the top newly created colour square on to the remaining 3 squares, if you want to colour the whole wall that is, which I did in this case. Seen in the last three pics.

The end result, I believe, gives you more of a textured look, or worn and old, whatever you think :)

Malcolm doesn’t always have it easy. I’m looking forward to the possibility of him having a glow-up in his teenage years. He has to turn into TS2 Malcolm at some point, right?

Nancy simultaneously got the wishes to drink nectar and paint at the same time. I don’t need any more instruction than that so I had her call over Agnes Crumplebottom, and set them up with painting stands and plenteous nectar.

Much to my horror I found out sims can’t paint at other sims’ homes :( So Agnes only got to drink. Also, the nectar was plasma fruit nectar and it made then both sick. Sigh.

The Couch: An Essay

I wish sim families interacted more with each other!

Waylon Wolff got a makeover. He’s got the Proper trait so you’ll never actually see his everyday outfit lol, but I had to give him something nice. In my game he’s a very cool guy, in a long term relationship with Emelie Van Gould.

Cladbridge has this area for trailers. Now in South Africa I believe there is some trailerpark culture somewhere, but not near where I grew up. So my idea is to turn the lots into abandoned farm buildings - barns, outbuildings, etc. I tested it out on an empty lot at first, but I’ve decided I like it. At some point, young and hip sims will move in and give these places some modern renovations!

Ayden Van Gould has managed to make many friends. He sees himself as a mentor to Connor Frio, and often invites him over to hear about his life and give advice. Ayden has also recently begun a relationship with Agnes Crumplebottom (such a beauty!).

Everyone loves a good country club. Or, I imagine Americans do. Where I come from we’re more likely to have this experience at the local hotel, but a country club seems a little more grand for my simmies. 

I’ve remodeled the building to include a very fancy restaurant, an area to play billiards in, and an little wine shop. Not to forget the bar (very important) and my gambling room. 

Mikaali Pingusat doesn’t seem very happy with how his game is going.

The Van Gould family, originally form Moonlight Falls, managed to make their way into my game, along with a couple other MF families too. All de-supernaturalised, of course.

They live in a converted warehouse - the only family in Cladbridge cool enough to live in a place like this. Ayden Van Gould is a successful white-collar worker and well known in town. His two children are both very artistic, with Emelie being a budding sculptor and Tristan a musical genius. They are more mature than most of their peers and enjoy each other’s company very much. 

You see Emelie asleep in her bed - she goes to entrepreneur school and gets to sleep an extra hour every morning.
