The Bachelor (Part2)
» Your boss wanted you and he wanted you on top. » Jungkook x Oc » 9.8k » Warning: Smut. Part 1
The music coming from the room was invading and making the crowded room seem even hotter than it really was. It must have been at least two hours that the convention dinner started and Hana had been running everywhere, hands full of documents as she was trying to run back, not only to cover Jungkook’s ass in front of the competitors but also his friend’s.
The room was filled with investors from different countries and, each time one of them approached Jungkook and his friend, Hana ran from the back room to him with the right document so they could all talk business. It was, as always, tiring, but what wouldn’t she do for her lovely boss.
2 months. That all it takes for him to rob her heart. Of course, that had to be kept secret. None of that could be said right in front of him, yet, she couldn’t stop thinking about it. Each time he was begging for her to take control in their private moments, she pictured him asking her out properly. In a way, she even found herself extremely naive. What was she even hoping for? A diamond ring of some sort? He was a bachelor. You know the type of guys most likely to avoid such relationship.
As long as she could have her little moments with him, she didn’t mind. She just went with the flow and hoped for the best.
As the clock stroke 8 pm, she was running back to her boss with the 6th document of the evening in between her fingers. Her high heels fidgeted against the marble floor and she finally reached him, excusing herself as she cut the discussion by her presence. “ Excuse me, Mr. Jeon, this is the document you asked for. Do you need anything else? “
Jungkook eyed her when he heard her voice and, for so little, she even thought she saw him smirk at her. She could read in his eyes what he meant and it was something along the lines of ‘ you sitting on my face’. Being professional, though, Jungkook coughed and grabbed the document. “ Thank you, Hana. Can you go get me the plans for the new buildings we are planning to build in Incheon? “ She hummed and turned on her heels. She knew Jungkook was still looking at her from behind, most probably judging if that short skirt of hers was making her butt look appetizing.
Lost in her thoughts, Hana walked a good few meters before she bumped into someone and fell back on the floor. “ Oh my god, Miss, are you alright?” That voice.
Nothing could describe the surprise visible on Hana’s face. Even herself couldn’t put a finger on what she was really feeling. Disgust? Hate? Pain? Maybe a huge mix of them all. She eyed the hand offered her way and hesitated to take it but she knew her position was nothing professional and she ended up taking the sweaty palm the man was giving her.
She pulled on it to raise and, as quickly as her reflexes could allow her, she let it go, cleaning her wet palms on her own skirt. “ Hana? “The same voice asked and she eyed up to look at the nicely dressed man.
“ Nice to see you again, Luhan. “
He didn’t change. He was just as handsome as she remembered. Tall, a dark shade of blond and those adorable doe eyes eying her like if they were searching to kidnap her away from reality. “ It’s been a long time, Hana. “ His smile- or should she say smirk- was honest and, for some reasons, her heart jumped from its habitual place.
Out of words due to her ex's presence, she only blushed and smiled at him. “ W-What are you doing here? “ She asked finally after a few seconds of internal debate. Luhan made that same childish expression he always did with her and, for a brief moment, she even remembered their times together.
“ My dad is here tonight. I guess he is hoping to make a deal with the Korean dude who threw this fastidious party. “ He stopped and frowned, eying her up and down. “ What about you, Han? “ She grimaced at the nickname he used to call her.
Her mouth was shaped like an ‘O’ as she remembered about his father. Of course. It was one of the factors leading to the ultimate decision Luhan took to let her go a few years ago. His stuck-up father was a wealthy businessman back in China and him, was his well-raised son about to help him once he would be done with his business class. Studies she also met him in, back in her University time in China.
“ I work for the ‘ Korean Dude’ “ She mimicked Luhan’s way to say the last words and he widened his eyes.
“ Seriously? I didn’t know you wanted to work in such company. I thought you would ideally run your own. “ He offered her a melancholic smile, remembering her hot temper and she awkwardly laughed.
Of course, she wanted to have her own but, for some people, money doesn't come rightly placed in a bank account from birth. She actually had to work hard to pay her University and, even today, she was still full of student loans.
“ I-I just wanted to have some experience, you see? “ She lied. Luhan was not part of her life anymore and she didn’t know why she should even speak to him about whatever they were doing so.
The silence grew bigger as Luhan was only eying her up and down, admiring her fit silhouette and she remained still for sometimes before he spoke. “ You really matured. “ He finally spoke. “ At first I thought you came accompanied. You are really stunning tonight. “ She blushed, taking in the compliment. She wished she was.
“ N-No, I came here because of Jungk- Mr, Jeon, asked me to help him. “ She clarified and he sadly smiled at her. He looked somewhere behind her and then back at her.
“ You mean the one staring at you from behind like you were made of candies? “ She turned around and noticed Jungkook looking their way, gaze sharp as razors.
She gulped and excused herself to Luhan. “ I guess I should be going, I was supposed to bring back some documents and- “
“ Hana. “ He stopped her. She eyed up and noticed his dark orbs drowning in hers. “ You know, you could be a lot better off in our company.” That came up unexpected and, surely, her jaw dropping to the ground let it show.
She was utterly stunned by his proposition. “ I-I don’t think, with your dad -”
“ I don’t know if I should be telling you that, but this is just a masquerade. “ She frowned. “ My dad is retiring. In less than a month, I will take the lead of the company. “ His smile was contagious but Hana only hummed.
“ I am happy for you, Luhan. I am sure you will be a great CEO when you will take the lead. “ He seemed deceived with her answer and licked his lips.
“ You know when I’ll be the president of the enterprise.” He paused and took a deep breath. “ Nobody will be able to tell me what to do. Or who to be with. “ Her heart sank at the last quote.
How could she forget? Luhan and she were happy. They had a great and deep connection. He was her first everything and, for a long time, she even thought he was the one. However, as she remembered, fate chose otherwise. At the last year of University, when Luhan was forced to take on a double major to be ‘qualified enough’ to succeed his illustrious father, he was also forced to put an end to every relationship that was inappropriate according to the old man. Anything that wouldn’t be profitable was not worth a Lu’s time.
That was the main reason why they broke up in one disastrous fight. This and the fact Luhan was too soft and sweet to express his real expressions to his father. Deception had always been one of his greatest fears, still to this day. “ I-I should really go, “ She said passing by him to reach the back side of the room.
Luhan gasped and turned around to grab her upper arm solidly “ Hana, please. “ She was bewildered by his actions and looked right into the man’s eyes. “ Whatever he pays you, I will double it. No- scratch that, triple it at least. “ She frowned and he continued. “ I will give a prestigious post. Not only the title of assistant. “ She gulped and eyed her own feet for sometimes. “ Just come work with me instead. “ She sighed.
“ Luhan, I can’t leave just like that. “
“ You still have a month, Han. “ He offered her a sweet smile. She noticed he was still holding onto her, however, it was a lot smoother. He was close enough now to whisper, only for the two of them to understand. “ I didn’t forget you... Wǒ de húdié “
She froze at his words. They used to have such a big meaning in her life and it was thrown back at her like a frozen snowball in the middle of July. Hana gobbled her own saliva before she felt her breath becoming uncomfortably uneven.
Without a word, she escaped his embrace and rushed back to the document filled room, away from the room, the people and him. Away from her Guāng
It was the first time he saw his little butterfly in a long time.
And it was the first time she saw who she used to call her light.
For so little, she almost had her wings burned.
The silence is appealing sometimes but, in other circumstances, it can be the total opposite. The one reigning in the bedroom happened to be just one of them. With the white bed sheet wrapped around her chest, Hana was panting, still, trying to get back from the orgasm Jungkook and she just had. After the event, Jungkook made sure to bring her back to his apartment to give her the ‘bonus’ he promised her.
As many times, the bonus happened to be pretty physical, turning from cuddles to an intense sex session that could last for hours. Hana was exhausted, tired to have led most of the intercourse, as both of them liked so much. She bites her lips, eyeing the ceiling. Usually, they would cuddle a bit after but right at that moment, Jungkook did nothing to bring her closer. She did nothing on her side too.
She just reminded there, worried about that change in his behavior. She glimpses at him from the corner of her eyes. What she saw filled her belly with a strange feeling.
Jungkook was there, a hand behind his head and his eyes contemplating the ceiling as well. His eyes were narrow and he was questionably biting her bottom lip. He seemed so out of this world, so handsome. She sat up, decided to take her leave when he finally zoomed back from his thoughts. “ Where are you going? “
She stopped on her track, remaining to sit still on the bed with the blanket wrapped around her beautiful breast. “ I-I am going, it’s late and we have work tomorrow. “
She didn’t hear anything and didn’t dare to look at him one second. She just sighed and was about to raise when he called for her. “Hana? “
She turned her head his way finally, up next to the bed. There was that persistent smell of sex in the room and she could still feel the cloth sticking to her skin. She didn’t say anything but Jungkook sat up as well, putting his elbows on his knees. “ Who was he? “ He questioned her.
At first, Hana was muddled by his question but eventually faltered. “ W-Who are you talking about? “
His gaze didn’t seem to think it was any kind of joke and he precise. “ The man you were speaking to during the conference. “ His voice was harsh. Harsher than she even heard him be.
“ Oh, “ She knew he was speaking of Luhan the whole time but avoided the question dispiritedly. “ It was just my ex. “ She said as if it was nothing important. Jungkook froze into the mattress and, quickly, eyed her up.
“ Your ex? “ He questioned.
“ Yes, he is the son of one of your new partners. “ His face fell. “Lu Enterprise. “
As if putting together the pieces of a puzzle, Jungkook raised not even bothering covering up his parts and grabbed his boxers on the ground. He put them in a hurry while Hana was still just looking at him. She still hasn't moved and was in no condition to do so.
Quicker than she could think straight, Jungkook was in front of her, his raven hair still messed up by all the sport they did. Even if he was facing her, Jungkook was solemnly staring at the ground. “ I don’t want you to talk to him again. “ He ordained and her eyes popped out of their circles.
Discombobulated by the last thing he said, she gulped harshly. “ I-I don’t understand, Jung-”
“ I don’t want you to talk to him anymore. This partnership is only meant to make another one with their good friends, the Wu corporation. In fact, I planned on getting rid of them as soon as the contract with the Wu’s would be signed. “ If Hana didn’t know him better from the past months they had been into that evil little plan, she would have thought it was real. But she knew better.
“ Is that really the reason? “ She crossed her arms over her chest, challenging him with her whimsical smirk.
Jungkook couldn’t really hide the nonentity of his words really well but still tried. “ I tell you, this is useless to hold any extra link to them except for the business part, which obviously, you won’t be part of. “ His words weren’t meant to be rude or offensive but she still grimaced at them.
“ Seriously? “ She asked pissed off. Turning around and picking up her clothes from the ground, she started to change herself up. “ I am a grown adult and I think I have the right to talk to whoever I want, Jungkook”
Jungkook looked at her, she didn’t seem to understand the way he was saying this to her. He wasn’t the type to express himself correctly and, as usual, often found a way to mess things up. He looked at her, putting on her last piece of cloth when he ruffled his hand harshly through his hair.
He knew it was hard but that was the only way to be sure she wouldn’t go against his will. “I am your boss and I commend you not to talk to him again. Is that clear? “ He spoke a bit louder than he wanted to, taken away by a momentary emotion of rage and angerness.
Hana stopped right on her track and looked up to him. She peered at him with disgust and sighed. With a dry scoff, she angrily stared at him. “ Fine, Mr. Jeon. “ She put a voluntary emphasis on the ‘Mr ‘ part, making him see how weird and unusual his request was.
Stopping outside the room and through the luxurious apartment, Hana didn’t even look back. She walked straight to the door, Jungkook to her feet as she reached for the door. “ Hana. “ He called for her but she didn’t turn back to him. “ Hana. “ He tried again, louder as he quickened his pace. “ Hana, look at me! “ He finally shouted at her, taking her arm and making her turn around. He saw, in her eyes the confusion and pain. He could assume the confusion was because of him but the pain must have come from the other one, obviously.
He stared at her, mouth ajar when she rolled her eyes. “ This is stupid. “ She muffled for herself. She liberated her grip from him.
He still could only look at her. “ You know I didn’t mean it that way, I just- “ He stopped, too focused on looking at her to speak. “ I just don’t want you to speak to him, alright? I don’t like him. I didn’t like the way he looked at you. It was like if he owned you. I hate that. “
She was surely touched by his words but ended up ignoring this feeling. “ Stop acting like if I am yours, Jungkook. You think of this way further than what it really is. “
Once again, the silence reigned. Unsatisfied with it, the man slowly bent down closer. She didn’t move when he slowly planted his soft lips on hers but still didn’t reply to the kiss either. She let him go and bite her own lower big lip when he broke the divine embrace. “ Forget it then, okay? “
She frowned before he clarified. “ I-I’m sorry, okay? Let’s just pretend this never happened. I guess that’s just the bossy side of me that came out. “ She nodded in agreement even if she doubted it really was that side of him who spoke. Or at least, she kind of hope it wasn’t.
Softly, Jungkook pulled on her hand and she stumbled a bit until she crashed on his exposed chest. “ Stay here for the night okay? “ She was surprised to hear him say that. Usually, he would always drive her back home so the next morning, the other employees wouldn’t suspect a thing. Now, if she stayed the night, she would have to come with him in the morning, a thing she dreaded.
Sensing the tension in the air, Hana chucked down on her saliva like if she was thirsty. “ Jungkook.” She paused to look at him, who was steadily keeping his gaze up to her like if it was normal to make her go so weak. God, did he even know how hard it was for her when he looked at her that way? “The other employees…”
The momentary excitement going through her boss face disappeared when she mentioned the sad reality that was awaiting them. “ Oh, right.” He did forget. Jungkook caressed the back of his neck. “ Maybe we could... “
It wasn’t in her habits but she took over herself to stop anything that was going on in his mind right away. “ Please, Jungkook, do not step that line.” With that she turned and left, leaving a confused and wondering Jungkook alone in the big apartment.
The only thing left for her was that draft of smell that Jungkook loved so much.
On her side, Hana closed the door and headed to the exterior of the luxurious building. By stopping Jungkook in his intentions she, herself buffeted her heart hard. How she wished things would be as easy as they sounded but she was scared. Scared of the outcome of this whole affair. Because that’s what it was; just an affair.
Nothing less, nothing more.
“What do you mean you saw him again? “ Hana’s friend wondered when they reached the building the next morning. Hana could see the incredulity on her friend’s face and, with reasons, she knew exactly who Luhan was. “You mean… he dared to speak with you?”
Hana was too concentrated on her way to look at her friend but she didn’t need to know she was looking at her. “Actually we bumped into each other at the supper yesterday.” She clarified and the silent invited her to go on. “We talked a bit, not much.”
“And what did he say?”
That question was so simple yet so hard to explain for Hana. “Well, he told me about a few things… he talked about his company and how he would take over his father when the old man will retire.”
“ Why would he talk to you about that? Wasn't the old man the main reason you guys broke up?” Without even knowing it, Hana’s friend had answered her own question.
Hana took a deep breath as they finally reached the big doors. “ Exactly.” She left her friend guessing for a while as she pulled on the door allowing the both of them to enter the big glass doors of the Jeon Enterprise. As her friend was the main floor receptionist, Hana knew she would eventually have to do her own way up alone. “He begged me to come and work with him.” Her friend stopped in her track, turning her head at Hana.
“ Y-You mean he asked you to leave Jeon Enterprise to go back and work with him? “ Hana stepped closer and continued to walk while her friend lifelessly followed her. “Will you do it? “ She asked and Hana sighed, closing her eyes.
“ I don’t know yet. It’s just that, you know - “ She was trying to find the right words to say. “It’s like I’ve taken so long to finally be over him and now he just bumps back in and I- “Hana ruffled her hair softly while her friend walked with her closer to the main office of the entrance.
“ That’s just fucked up if you want to ask me.” Hana knew it was. She didn’t really know why, she actually was considering the thing, however. Maybe it was for various reasons. Maybe because she knew Luhan inside out, or at least she did before. She knew he was a lot more of a relationship guy than Jungkook could ever be. Maybe their relation ended up on a bad note, but for the time they were together, Hana felt like she was herself and that she had found her other half. The bonus point was that Luhan offered to triple Jungkook’s paycheck. “ I can’t fucking believe it.” Her friend brought her out of her thoughts. The tone she used indicated that she was clearly talking about something else.
Hana raised her head to the view of the white office where her friend was yet to get in post. Even if there was no secretary yet, the other one was probably already in her morning break, a man was standing there. Both held their gaze when the man turned his handsome face to their direction. A smile appeared right away on his face and he walked the few meters separating them from him. “ Hana.” He said with a soft smile.
Hana gulped and looked around shyly. “Luhan. “
Hana’s friend faked not to be there and just went for her seat as Hana stood there in front of her ex. She didn’t speak for a few minutes before Luhan offered her what he had been holding in his hands. “ Here.” He said giving her the bouquet of flower he was holding. It wasn’t the fanciest of bouquets but the meaning of the flower in predominance was what cut her words straight out of her mouth. Lilies.
Hana coughed out of shyness and eyed Luhan directly. His dark eyes were covered by his blond bang. “What am I - Why? “ She wasn’t able to make full sentences due to her shyness. Luhan smirked at her and raised his shy eyes at her. This was simply all too sudden.
“I came here to meet with your boss’s partner. Mr. Kim if I am right. I thought I might take you those by the same occasion.” Surely, Hana wasn’t dumb and the thought that her ex used that excuse to bring her flowers crossed her head.
“ Did you have to? “ Hana’s voice was cracking a bit. Surely, she didn’t expect her ex to pop up at her new office and even less to see him come back with flowers. Their flowers.
“ Don’t you like them?” He asked innocently. Too innocently. She blushed and poked her inside cheek with her tongue. Luhan took her silence as a victory and bite his lips. “ I thought you could lead me to my appointment, would you mind? “ Hana stared at him, not sure about how to handle the situation.
She readjusted her bag on her shoulder. “ I don’t think that’s a good idea, Luhan. You can just ask my colleague and she will be happy to indicate you the way.” As expected, Luhan didn’t leave the time nor the opportunity to go against his plan. He stepped a tiny bit closer, forcing her to make a full step back. “L-Lu-”
“Please, I would really appreciate if you’d just show me the way instead. “ He kindly asked her again and she sighed, eyeing her friend from over the man’s shoulder. Even if she could only be seen by Hana, her friend widened her eyes, motioning her to go on to the elevators, a sign that probably Mr. Kim, or like she called him, Taehyung, was already ready to receive him.
“ Fine. “She finally conceded and harshly held the bouquet closer to her chest. “ This way.” Luhan didn’t hum a word but was happy that his attempt worked. He followed her -oh so closely- while Hana directed her lost steps towards the elevators. As it was still pretty early and not all the employees were there yet, they happened to be alone in the closed metal cage.
Immediately, as the doors were closing on them, Hana pressed the button number ‘7’ and prayed God, wherever he was, to have pity on her. Why did Luhan honestly had to make it so difficult? Weren't they over all of that? Wasn’t she over the fact he ditched her for his fortune and future as a CEO? She thought so. Yet, she felt compelled towards him, the exact same way she was when they met. You can’t really forget a big part of your past and so couldn’t she.
The fact Luhan was staring up and down at her intently wasn’t helping much either. Even though Hana was holding tightly to the bouquet he had offered her, she didn’t look at him. She couldn’t. The bouquet served as a hideout for the poor woman, melting under the intensity of the stares.
“ Just to break the ice, I have to say that you look gorgeous today as well.” He said. Those same words, in someone’s mouth, would have looked like a simple way to get in her pants, but it was Luhan. No matter how much she was decided to hate him, he was always the same gentleman.
“ T-Thank you.” She said and she stared at the numbers on the screen. 3. Fuck.
Luhan softly smiled and turned his body to her completely. Now, that she wanted to or not, she couldn’t deny his presence and eventually had to turn to him as well. “Have you thought about my proposal?” He asked out of the blue and she gasped, finally meeting his stare.
She had no idea why, but the fact he was so close and in the same ‘room’ like her made her shiver and he noticed that. What started as tentative glances turned out more when he came closer to her and, this time, she didn’t move. Only the bouquet, compressed in between their chest was separating the both of them. But nobody would care about the flowers at this point.
It was like if he just planned on taking it back to where he left it. Without her consent, he placed his right hand on her waist and she felt her breath halter. As an ultimate try to avoid a heart failure, she turned her head slightly as he leaned in. Just when his nose was poking her cheek, she gained back her sense and softly pushed the bouquet harder on his chest. “L-Luhan…”
It honestly looked like if he wanted to take it back where he left things years ago. It didn’t matter if her heart had been compressed into tiny micro pieces, he wanted to fix them one by one. However, he noticed her change of attitude and her struggle to keep calm. He sighed and backed up a little. Yet, the sweetness of his stare was all she could feel. “ My father is to announce his dismission later this afternoon.” To that fact, Hana only gazed down, but when Luhan’s finger came to brush the tip of her chin, she realized how much control the man was having over her. He brought her face back up, forcing her to meet up with his lustful eyes at once. “I know I hurt you, Hana, but believe me, I was just as hurt. I did it not by choice but by obligation.” Every gulp Hana was trying to get away with was becoming heavier and abnormally long to swallow.
“This is the past, Luhan.” It was. A long and hurtful past she’d rather forget. Things had changed.
“ But I don’t want it to be.” Hana, out of all people, knew that when a Lu wanted something, he would get it. She was just scared of knowing how. “I know I can’t repair the damages I did right away nor can I make up the time that passed, but please, just let me try.” Caving into the most dangerous game on earth, Hana compelled.
Her heart was so heavy. How could he make her feel so good yet so bad? “ I am happy now, Luhan. Please don’t come back again.” Her voice was weaker by the second and her dear ex couldn’t stand anymore. Without asking her anything, he benched closer and pecked her shaking lips. She closed her eyes right away and enjoyed it, as a good old habit. His lips felt so familiar to her, yet so strange. She wanted to feel more but to also erase his touch. Luhan didn’t try to deepen the kiss, aware that she was struggling enough the way she was.
“ Are you really?” He tilted his head and she plunged her face into the bouquet, to avoid his heavy orbs. “ One date. That’s all I ask.” Ding. The sound of the door made him back up and she finally eyed him deeply. “One date and I promise I’ll make it right this time.” She remained quiet but eventually, a slight smile could be seen on her face.
Those words, how she wished to hear them in the few weeks and months following their horrible break up. It was only now that she was settled up - or almost- somewhere else that he was coming back to tell her that. “ Friday night? 8pm? “ He let go a soft smile when she blushed. The doors were open and now threatening to close on themselves if Luhan wouldn’t go out as soon as possible.
“ I’ll think about it.” She shyly mumbled and he hummed, satisfied with her answer.
“ Call me when you want. I still have the same number.” Then he kissed her forehead rapidly and escaped the elevator. The doors closed on a running and smiling Luhan and Hana was left alone with herself. She felt like the weight of the world was on her shoulders and closed her eyes rapidly while randomly trying to put on the right number on the button.
What had she got herself into? How would she bring that up with Jungkook? Damn, the drama would be just starting. However, she really wanted to go out again with Luhan. The memory of their love was still haunting her every time she was barely thinking of it.
After a few moment of mental struggle and despair, she finally arrived at the main lobby of Jungkook’s private office, where she was called to work.
When she pushed the big doors, she was welcomed by the presence of the man, half sitting on her white desk unless of already being in his office. His facial traits didn’t seem so soft either. Hana hesitated to go on inside and gulped when he noticed her presence, stopping his nail-biting session to walk up to her. His arrogant smirk came in soon after. “ Nice flowers, babe. An admirer of yours?” He joked and Hana immediately felt uneasy with his arrogance.
Not acknowledging his cold remarks, Hana walked to her office and sighed. “I-I guess so.” She knew it was of no use to tell him the truth. It would only add oil to the fire. “ Actually I got it in the lobby. Someone left it an-” Only, Jungkook’s groan was cutting the air like thin glass.
“Oh, cut the crap already babe.”
She stopped talking. Hell, she stopped breathing as well. “ Excuse me? “ She asked and Jungkook walked slowly closer, hands in his pockets, eyes staring at her like dares. Both stood in front of each other with straight eyes screaming an untold truth.
“ Don’t honey dick me, love.” He was threatening, to say the least. Whatever got it in this mood was making her extremely worried. Hana frowned and looked around. Her eyes were searching for a courage she lost somewhere as she stumbled in.
“ W-Why would I? “
Jungkook scoffed dryly and licked his smirky lips. He didn’t answer directly but, surely, Hana got the meaning of his words with what he went on to say next. “ What about that admirer, hmm? Dare to tell me more about him?” He teased her and Hana walked around him to sit on her seat and started to play with stuff across her desk.
She tried her best to act normal but she never was a good actress. “ What is there to say? “
Jungkook, however, was a hell of a good one. He pinched his chin playfully. “I don’t know. Maybe starting with his name. Or- oh wait, I got something better- how well he kisses you in the elevator like if you were fucking his. “ He placed both of his hands on her desk to support his body as he leaned forward on the sitting Hana. His tie hanged around the thick air and Hana’s jaw tightened from stress. Only, not only than Jungkook’s.
She widened her eyes. “ Y-You saw-”
“ Welcome to the 21st century, honey, that’s what security cameras are for.” She was out of words. So Jungkook saw her and Luhan kissing? She never thought of that. She didn’t know why, really, but her legs, under the desk, started to shake as Jungkook’s temper seemed to get the best of him.
Jungkook waited for a reply but it never came. “ Didn’t I warn you not to talk to him again? Enough that I have to support him in my business, I don’t want to know him in your bed.” His words were so harshly that she turned her attention to her blank screen not to fail in.
“ You’re turning all bossy again, Jungkook.” She said and he laughed at her remark.
“ Maybe it’s because I am your boss? “ That was it. She turned on her computer and faked to not feel his presence. Eventually, Jungkook groaned and angrily left her office to go to his. How he hated it to have her contradict his words.
She was seriously reconsidering her options. When Luhan proposed her a date, she first thought of refusing it. In all honestly, she did think of Luhan fondly for a long time after their breakup. Only it was the past and she couldn’t deny to herself that, even if it was unwise and unspoken, her attraction for Jungkook was more than present. It made her think twice about Luhan’s words. Was she ready to leave the man who filled her bed for a second chance at something that already failed? At first, her answer was no. Then Jungkook’s attitude made her doubt.
Jungkook never left his office after that. At least not for the rest of the morning and the rest of the afternoon. Not even for lunch. Usually, he would ask her what she would like to eat and both would savor a nice -and really expensive- meal in his office. However, he never came out that day. She wondered why Jungkook acted like that. Was it really only because of some business related plans? Or was it maybe because of something more? Was it because, as he once told her, he didn’t like to share his toys? Or was it because, like a toddler, he grew attached to the toy in question? So many questions that got her head spinning.
But when, later that afternoon, a certain woman she recognized too well, arrived and entered her dear boss' office, her thoughts became clearer.
It was the first option. In everything. She was just a toy to him, not one he grew to appreciate fondly, just one who seemed to have got over him and so was he trying to show her that he did too. But it hurt. Honestly. To see that he recalled the same girl he used to fuck before her to come back to the same office. The dirty smirk she had on her face, the way she walked into the place without asking Hana to introduce her like she always did. It broke her heart truthfully.
It confused her just as much as it broke her. Was it the sign that it was all over? Would it really end the same way it started? In the twist of events coming out of nowhere?
By the time the girl was screaming in orgasm on the other side of the door, Hana’s thoughts were as clear as the tears falling down her eyes.
If, up to a certain point, Jungkook used as a replacement for Luhan, it could be said that the other way was also valid. To forget the fact Jungkook came back to his good old habits of screwing young and stunning model-like women, Hana had to change her mind. Otherwise, she would have gone nuts.
While Jungkook continued to fuck countless woman days after days, Hana decided that was a game she could play as well. Hell, who was she fooling? It wasn’t even a game, just her chance to escape that awkward maze of unreturned affection she was trapped in.
So that’s why she accepted Luhan’s proposition. Just like that, they started to date again. And hell was he good at it.
Even better than before. He was so open about his affection for her. Instead of Jungkook, he was taking her with him everywhere he was going, never just to his apartment. He was taking great care of her. He showed her the fanciest restaurant and all she missed while she was gone. Really, Luhan knew how to treat a woman.
He also knew how to tempt one to follow his craziest plan. Even the one of leaving her job. After Luhan's official accession to his father’s place, he created a new post, just for her. She couldn’t deny, she would prefer that ten times over the sounds of the women moaning in her past lover’s arms.
Ever since that day, Jungkook and her stopped whatever was going on. As a confirmation to her worst nightmares, the fact he came back to his old self was indeed a secret message to indicate her it was the end. The biggest sign of affection she had was the eye contact he made with her when he was bringing more women to his office.
And it broke her heart, in all honesty. She had to face it, she really did fall for him during the 2 months they had been fucking each other. But was it really love when all that she could feel was loath and pain? Probably not. Jungkook had been a fantasy for some times. She fed on him and now she had to go on without him.
By the second month of cold treatment, Hana decided she had enough. How long could she endure anyway? After a really painful, and loud, day of work, Hana decided to call things officially quit with the man.
Not only the string relating the two of them, but she decided to accept Luhan’s proposition.
It was time for her to face it. It would be simply plain awkward to have to deal with Jungkook much longer. It was already hard and she doubted it would get any better. Now that she was back with Luhan -or something like that- she knew his offer was all the more sincere and she had all the needs in the world to just accept it. That resulted in her being there, standing in front of her boss’s personal office’s doors. She knew that the last slut left a few hours before already. She wouldn’t have a bad surprise anymore.
One, two, three times, she knocked on her boss’s door. Maybe for the last time.
“ Come in.” She heard him muffle from the other side. The night had already won the day and it was passed the time she would usually leave. She took a deep breath to inspire her courage before pushing the door open.
At first, she was welcomed by the few lamps illuminating the office. Jungkook was sitting on his chair, eyes down on some documents. After a long silence, he raised his eyes to see her standing nervously there. “ What is it, Hana?” Even the way he was saying her name felt extremely cold. She kept her tears inside and opened her dry mouth.
“ I came to say goodbye.”
Jungkook scoffed and made her a sign with the back of his hand to leave. “ Alright then, goodnight, you didn’t have to come by to say this.” She closed her eyes and bite her lips before releasing them painfully.
“ It’s not that, Mr. Jeon.” She didn’t feel appropriate to call him by his name anymore. “I am going for good.” That was the words that made Jungkook realize what had just happened. He stared up from his position and eyed her. She tried to hide the pain when he stared so intently. “ I got another job offer elsewhere. I am leaving.”
She kept it as short as possible. She heard the door close itself due to the wind coming from the window that was open and Jungkook finally dared to speak. “ He offered you something better?” It pinched her heart to hear him say that. Despite it all, she couldn’t help but notice that his tone was less hash.
She nodded and Jungkook scoffed. “ Fine then.” There he was back, harsher than ever. As she didn’t want to face that all over again, Hana turned on her heels, about to go to the door and leave. “ I am sorry, Mr. Jeon.” But then she was called back.
“ Hana.” He called out her name loudly. “ Come over here.” Hesitantly, Hana turned around and saw her boss eyeing her rather inappropriately. “ Don’t make me repeat myself. “ He purred as he unconsciously untying his tie. He looked like he was suffocating.
Hana made small steps until she was next to his desk. He was breathing heavily, like trying to search for air. The tension was all too much and she was slowly starting to have difficulty breathing as well. Then it happened.
In one violent motion, Jungkook slammed all the documents on the ground and shouted. “ Is that what you wanted, uh? “ She gasped and panicked a bit.
He was so genuinely angry. She didn’t know what to do. Was there a good reaction to have? She was startled and Jungkook continued to push everything loudly on the ground. “ Jungkook.” She whispered, in a faint hope to see him calm down. It didn’t seem to work as he was on the edge of throwing his chair by the window and pull out all his own hair. “ Jungkook!” She shouted for him to stop.
He did and pursed his lips, looking at her as she softly came to his side and took his wrist as an ultimate attempt to not see him tear apart the whole office. Her embrace on his wrist was burning him, yet she had no idea. Only from up close, she could perceive his bottom lip shaking. “ Jungkook?” She asked worriedly and he looked up at her.
There, in his eyes, she saw it. “ Don’t.” He begged her. “ I-I am sorry.” She was more than surprised by that sudden change of event and she stared at him. He seemed genuinely sorry and also so regretful of something she had no idea.
“ Jungkook? “ She called, trying to turn all the questions she had in her head into one single word. The man’s chest was jumping up and down haltingly and she frowned.
Her boss bit his lips while staring at hers. “ I am just one big idiot.” His gaze darkened and she feared something bad would come out of this argument. Her take on the man’s wrist loosened enough for him to switch position. Only, instead of aiming for her wrist, he aimed for her hand directly, playing with her palm. “ I am just so stupid, Hana.” The tone he used to say her name was so soft, almost sensual. She felt her heart being completely compressed in her chest as Jungkook was looking at her and dared to make a few steps her way. “ Hana.” He called for her.
His hands found the way to her waist. He rested his palms on her hips like he wished to do ever since the day everything changed. “ Jungkook, no.” She turned her head, trying to sneak out of his embrace. She was with Luhan now and whatever game Jungkook was playing, she wasn’t allowed to participate in anymore.
His forehead found hers and she eyed down, not to cope with his pleading eyes. “ Don’t leave me.” He directly pleaded. Her nostrils were filled with his scent. He was the one pushing her away and now he wanted her to stay. The man couldn’t be more incoherent.
“ I-I don’t play anymore, Jungkook. “ She stopped him, trying to hold the tears about to fall. “ I-I think it’s better this way. You can go on with your life and I can go on with mine.” She waited for his reply but the only thing she got as an answer was the grip around her waist tightening.
She was breathing heavily, just due to his proximity. That was a thing that never happened to her before. With anyone.
“ No.” He said harshly and before she knew it, she was raised and sat on the emptied desk. She raised her face, only to meet eyes with her past night time lover. He seemed to be even more on the edge than she was and he collided his lips with hers before she could complain.
She was fond of his touches and she never realized how much she missed them. When he continued to kiss her, she melted in and forgot the very thought of anything else than him. If she had known the news of her departure would have provoked something so wild in Jungkook that he would have pushed her down his desk, she would have tried it way before.
Talking about the man, he was going legitimately wild. Inhabited by some well-hidden passion, Jungkook’s hands were roaming over her body. He was worshipping her body so much that she dreaded the moment he would come back to his sense and push her back away.
For the meantime, she enjoyed his sudden outburst of passion and surrounded his neck with her arms, pulling him closer. His hips came to meet hers, on the very edge of the desk. Her short skirt had been racing up and so was Jungkook’s hand all over her thighs. He grabbed the top of her stocking and tore it apart, making her gasp. He was so excited that he needed to consume her completely.
He needed to possess her. That was what it was all about. He only needed to be her only one. Before she could protest his methods, Jungkook’s finger came to caress roughly her private part and she moaned, rushing her head into the man’s neck. “ J-Jungkook, don’t. “ That didn’t stop him in the least bit, on the contrary, it motivated him to go.
She was holding for her life, arms around the man’s broad shoulders and face still in his neck while he was pressing two fingers on her already swollen clit. He tapped on it, making her yelp in desire and suddenly pulled her panties the long of her thigh until it rested hanging at the level of her knees. He had to consume her the sooner possible.
“ You are mine, Hana.” He purred in her ear as he rubbed his hot fingers right on her wet big lower lips. She was shaking simply by his touches and wished he would already plunge his fingers in. “Are you so blind? “ He questioned her and she gasped.
Instead of having to give him an answer, however, she saw her wishes being granted. Jungkook pushed his two major digits inside her aching core and groaned while doing so. “Finally.” He grinded between his clenched teeth. Without losing any minute, afraid that she might run away, Jungkook started to pump her up. The faster he would get her wet, the better his chances of keeping her by his side were.
As he thrusted deep inside her, He used his thumb to roll up her clit. “J-Jungk- Oh shit. “ Hana was becoming the moaning mess that she was and rolled her head back, allowing the man’s mouth to found it’s way on her neck.
“ You are definitely blind. “ He answered his own question. She frowned, biting her lower lip, staring at him when he started to involuntarily move her hips along his fingers. He wanted to deflourish her with something much bigger than his fingers.
“ W-What are you s-” He took out his fingers from her, already struggling to untie his belt. “ N-No Jungkook, we can’t do that.” She tried her best to regain her mind but he didn’t let her the time.
Once his pants and boxers down to his knees as well, he came closer to kiss her mouth savagely. He was kissing her with all the passion he had for her. It was like if her lips were magnetic. Once his words became too heavy to remain untold, however, he painfully separated their aching lips from one another. “ You are so fucking blind for not seeing this.” She frowned, cupping his cheeks, wanting to taste more of him. “Two fucking months and you got me wrapped off your little finger. Yet, you can’t even see how you make me feel. Do you I need to spell it out for you to understand? “ He was more than in the mood, he was completely possessed by his inner demons.
Hana pecked his lips repeatedly when he grabbed her wrist. “ I am fucking jealous. Happy?” She frowned. “ I am just a stupid bachelor in love and I can’t fucking find the right words to make you realize it.” She gasped and jumped on his lips. This time, there was no way she would let him go.
He felt it. She wasn’t the only one. They were both suffering in the own side and now they would be both pleased together.
Jungkook’s length was brushing her bare thigh, making her shiver when he stopped kissing her, only to stare deeply into her eyes while he directed his cock to her dripping core. He kept the stare while he buried himself deeper by the inch. “ I want to be the only one you stare at while being fucked.” He said and she hummed while feeling so utterly full. He was taking over his preferences, just to dominate her. A little change never hurts.
Once completely inside her cunt, he stayed like that. “ I missed that so much.” He groaned before taking it out and then pushing it back deeper even than she could remember. She yelped once again and took support, tightly, around her neck. His hands were on her lower back, pulling her closer to him with his strike.
How she missed being possessed by him. At that moment she wanted to be his and his only. Jungkook had the right moves, the right words -for once- and she wished this passion, this love, could last forever.
He pounded into her like if he had waited to do just that forever. Hell, he did. “ Nobody feels like you, babe.” He roared into her neck as he bit into it. Her hands didn’t know where to stand while he was fucking the hell out of her. It was more than passion, it was a real need. She started to mess with his hair, making them instantly sexier.
Testing the waters, Hana whined. “ I wish you would have realized that sooner.” Jungkook was soon about to become crazy.
Each strike he was taking inside of her was driving him mad and the next thing he knows, he was totally above her on the desk. “ H-How does it feel babe? Am I pleasing you better than his poor little dick? “ She knew Jungkook could be totally turned on during sex and she went along, simply nodding at his quote. “ I could offer you so much.” He kissed her cheeks, then her nose while slowing down the pace. “ Just ask and I’ll give. “ She bit her lips.
She knew it was the best moment to ask. “I-I want to be yours. No secret meetings anymore. I-I don’t want you to feel ashamed of me either.” Jungkook only smirked at her request and bent down to kiss her lips deeply.
“ I never was ashamed of you babe, but if that’s what you wish then- “ He raised from the desk, pulling her with him. He walked around the desk, pulling on her wrist for her to follow him anywhere he would go. He stopped in front of the big window. From there, they could see the whole city, lights bright to illuminate the night.
“J-Jungkook?” She asked but before she’d ask for more, Jungkook grabbed her forearm, pulled it and pushed her further the glass. She cried in surprise and placed both her palm against the fresh glass. Her ass was sticking out from behind and she felt Jungkook’s cock, dripping with precum, penetrate her once more. “ S-Shit, what are you doing?”
“ You wanted the world to see, then let them see.” She gasped as he started to fuck her senselessly. He was a real beast and she enjoyed it to the last minute. Soon enough, the window started to be tinted with smog as the temperature was rising. “ Let them all see who you belong to, babe.” Just to support his words, Jungkook pounded strongly enough for her to have her face pushed against the glass. Luckily, the night would cover this little mishap. “ Let him see who pleases you. Scream my name, babe. Scream only mine.” She compelled, her pussy ready to explode.
“ It’s you, Jungkook. “ He rolled back his head, holding her waist as he destroyed what was left of her core. “ I am all yours to fuck. I belong to you only. “
Satisfied, Jungkook warned her of the imminent explosion to occur deep inside of her by fast and misplaced kisses on the back of her neck as he bent further.
That night, in that doomed office, she got screwed more than any other woman before but she knew that, for once, it meant something. Jungkook fucked her so roughly, to catch up for the past two months he had to let it go elsewhere and he finally filled her up. So much, she dripped on the messed up floor.
She was panting and so was Jungkook. Mind full of questions still, she pushed on the glass and stared at the reflection on it. Jungkook was staring at her with such passion, she felt consumed from the inside. She was about to leave and put back her panties without turning to face him when Jungkook stopped her wrist. “ Everything I said.” He started, still panting. He came closer, his black wet bang brushing her cheek as he kissed her neck. “ I meant it.” She gasped and turned to him slowly.
They both stared at each other. “ I hope you know you are not going anywhere.” She blushed and looked down before he grabbed her chin between two fingers.
“Not tonight, not ever."

Part 1 | Part 2.
The sun had finally died down to welcome the night. The smell of dog was long lost as everybody was now back to their human form. As for myself, I was walking non-stop in the hallway of the bedrooms. Jimin was sitting on the ground, knees raised to place his elbows on. “Stop, Jihae.” He begged me. We were all nervous.
When Jin started to attend for the boy's health, I tried to sneak in and help but he pushed me back. Eventually, Jin took care of the new incomer while Namjoon patched up the scars on Taehyung’s body, that I learned would eventually get better. “How can you be so calm?” I asked Jimin who finally raised from the ground.
As I was doing the hundredth come and go into the hallway, he grabbed both of my shoulders. “ Because I know my hyungs. They will save them no matter what.” I was surely worried for Taehyung, my childhood friend that I almost lost, but also for that stranger, somehow. No matter how stupid it sounded, I couldn’t find enough strength to wish him death, even after attacking both Taehyung and me.
“ W-What if -” My voice was cracking and Jimin half smiled at me while bending his head lower to level up with mine.
“ Taehyung will be fine. You heard Jin when he came out earlier, right? “ I paused my breath to look up to him. “ It is benign scars. “
As if a cue for the rest to happen, the door of Taehyung’s bedroom opened, welcoming a tired Namjoon. He had his shirt’s sleeves raised up and he was busy cleaning the blood from his forearms. Jimin and I held our breath as he stared up at us. Namjoon sighed and then dropped down his stare back. “He will need a bit of rest but he is fine.” I finally sight, like if I had held my breath ever since he fell unconscious.
Jimin’s hands fell from my shoulders and I slowly ambled to Namjoon, getting on my toes to peck his cheek. “Thank you Namjoon,” I said and he tiredly smiled. I softly pointed to the open bedroom door. “I-Is he? “
“ Yes, he woke up a few minutes ago. The first thing he asked was to know if you were alright, you should-”
But he didn’t have to finish his sentence. I wasn't going to be asked anyway. When he confirmed that my little puppy was awake, I jumped on my toes to sprint to the open door, leaving Namjoon and Jimin together in the hallway. I pushed the half-open door directly and gasped at the view of my friend.
Of course, Taehyung was full of bandages. His head was covered with a white one and it made him look even more innocent than he already looked. He stared at me and we exchanged the sweetest and most meaningful of smiles. I ran to his side and jumped on the bed, hugging him directly He held me closer, despite the injuries. Eventually, however, I pressed myself too close on his bruised chest that he whimpered. “O-Ouch.” He said and I cursed myself, pushing on my arms on each side of him to straddle him a bit.
“ Shit, sorry. “ I said and he offered me an apologetic smile.
“ I-t’s alright. “ He said before he raised a hand and caressed my cheek. “I am just glad you are alright.” I blushed a bit at that before he showed me his tongue. “Otherwise Jungkook would have killed me.” I gasped and he laughed.
Amused but a bit offended, I punched his shoulder and he grabbed it painfully. “ Screw you, Kim Taehyung. To think I actually was worried about you. “ I scoffed and he stopped laughing to stare at me.
“Jihae, you know I was serious, come on. You know me better than this.” I rolled my eyes as I sat correctly in the small space next to him on the bed. “ You know how crazy I am for you, I would have protected you with my life if I had to.” I was actually touched, despite the playful tone he used to recall his thoughts. That was the actual sweet side of Taehyung that would make anyone -except me- fall in love with him.
However, the reminiscence of the incident pushed him to deepen the discussion. “ What happened exactly? “ He wondered finally, yet painfully, sitting up on the mattress. I helped him the best I could and looked at him. His eyes were sparkly, like usual, yet I could see how useless he felt that he couldn’t actually beat the other stranger. I didn’t want him to feel like that. He protected me the best he could, only he was taken by surprise and, as I stated to myself before, the wolf was inhabited by a strange yet palpable strength.
“ Well.” I started and bite my lips. “ What do you recall of it all, Tae? “ He frowned softly, gazing at the blankets carefully placed and folded over his laps.
“ I only remember finding you and being really happy about it. You tried to trick me in the mountains, didn’t you?” He playfully smirked at me. I returned the action and nodded. “Then I remember a groan. I raised my eyes and there was another wolf.” He paused, examining the room as if it was foreign to him. “ I remember he was really strong. I was beaten up.” His hand raised to his neck where the biggest bandage was placed.
Of course, I feared to see him being too badly injured to recover since the wolf could have either broken his neck or section his main artery. Taehyung was actually pretty lucky through his misfortunes.
“ Then I remember you called me. That distracted him but not enough. I was pushed on a tree then-” He stopped and frowned. The rest was dizzy to him and I couldn’t be more surprised. I placed a hand over his which was placed on his laps. He intertwined our fingers, an act all the more natural for us.
“ You hit your head TaeTae.” He widened his eyes. “ Then you landed on my laps.” He bit his lips.
He squeezed my hand tightly. “ Did he touch you? “ He asked all the more seriously. I was taken aback by the determination in his eyes. I shook my head hesitantly. “ What happened after? “ He dared to ask, not leaving my eyes.
“ The wolf-” I hesitated. “ He never hurt me. He only … starred. “ Taehyung raised an eyebrow. “ He remained like that for a few seconds before Jungkook and the rest arrived. “ Taehyung seemed relaxed to know the others took care of the situation, especially Jungkook.
“ I am glad Jungkook arrived then. He must have taken care of him correctly.” The shadow of a dark smile appeared and I bite my lips. I cursed the fact Taehyung could see so clearly through me. “ What is it Jihae? “ He seemed nervous to ask me.
I sighed and let it go. “ Jungkook wanted to leave him for dead in the woods,” Taehyung smirked, knowing it was the right move Jungkook should have taken after an attack. “ But I begged him to bring him here.” Taehyung’s eyes grew bigger.
“ ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? “ He screamed. Obviously, such violent expression attracted the attention of the people in the house. After a few seconds , we could hear footsteps running our way from the staircase and I shut my eyes, feeling under pressure.
“ Listen to me, Tae,” I begged him and he was disfiguring me while letting me speak. “ Jungkook almost killed him,” I announced and Taehyung gasped.
“That’s what he was supposed to do, Jihae. Listen, Jihae, princess… “He pinched his bruised nose bridge and sighed.
“ Tae, he wanted to leave him for dead in the woods. We are not murderers. “ I almost shout the last part and, inevitably, the door flew open at once and Jimin, along with Hoseok, arrived in the room.
“What’s the matter?” Jimin asked and Taehyung stared at them as well.
“You knew about that motherfucker being in the house?” He screamed, a bit less loudly to our friends. At once, Jimin came closer, until he reached a spot right beside me. He placed a hand on my shoulder, like supporting my words.
“ Taehyung, calm down, it is not good for your health.” Hoseok tried to calm down Taehyung who visibly was starting to be more agitated. I never saw him like this. Taehyung usually was so playful. Hoseok came on the other side of the bed and pinned Taehyung down on the mattress, not to have him moving too much.
“ I don’t freaking care about my health. How can you guys let him come inside? He could have killed Jihae and me and- “
“But he did not. “ Jimin intervened. I was mesmerized how one's attitude could be altered in such situation. usually, Taehyung and Hoseok were the most playful ones, yet now they were awfully serious. As for Jimin, he always had been the biggest flirt, a real second brother to me, but he almost felt like a father at that instant. I was shivering and I ultimately placed my hand above his on my shoulder.
“ Hyungs, what’s all that? “ Taehyung asked as he finally calmed down a little.
Jimin sighed and gazed at Hoseok who sent back the stare. “ Jihae is right. We are not murderers. Jin took care of him and said he was already hurt in the leg.” I didn’t know yet since Hoseok had been helping Jin from time to time and didn’t really spoke to us about the patient’s health but had guessed due to the man’s constant whining during the battle. Hoseok finally lets go of Taehyung. “ Taking him down while being at his weakest is incredibly low, even for a wolf.” Hoseok continued and I admired him for standing on such values.
Taehyung took a deep breath and closed his eyes. “ Guys, he attacked us. I don't say if he did anything, but he almost killed me. After that, he might have killed her. Keeping him inside result in keeping a bomb ready to explode.” He said, much more trying to convince us than to actually vent out his anger.
I raised from the bed and looked down at Taehyung. “ I think you hurt your head a bit too hard, Tae. The TaeTae I know would never act like that. I know he did wrong but is it too hard to endure his presence for the time we at least help him get better? It’s not like Jungkook actually planned on keeping him in for much longer anyway. “ This time, I was the one busting out my anger.
The guys were not used to see me so upfront with my feelings and they remained quiet. Jimin’s hand withdraw itself from my shoulder and I hatefully stared at Taehyung. “ I thought you had better values than this Tae.” I said, this time almost like a whisper.
With that, I turned on my heels and headed to the door. Taehyung called for me. “ J-Jihae.” He called out and I knew he was feeling bad, just by the tone of his voice. He felt bad. Utterly bad. “ P-Princess?” He called again but I was already out of the door.
I rushed down the stairs and finally reached the living room, wondering to myself why I was taking the side of a perfect stranger so much.
The answer? It was stronger than me.
That evening, the supper went on in silence. Nobody was speaking. The food, usually prepared by Jin, had been replaced by some homemade sandwiches made with love by our dear Hoseok. Not that it was bad or anything but, clearly, it wasn’t the only thing differing from the usual.
The table wasn’t full. After I had that little altercation with Taehyung, Jimin remained by his side, even until that moment. Hoseok brought the supper of the two men upstairs, where Jimin decided he would eat to keep Taehyung company. Not only the two funniest members were missing, but also Jin, who had been out of our sight for god knows how long. He never left the new boy’s side ever since his arrival in the house.
We all understood that his condition was requiring special attention but we were all worried. Not many for the sake of the man, but mostly for Jin’s well-being.
Nobody was speaking.
Only Jungkook’s dark aura could be felt throughout the room. Sitting at the very corner of the rectangular shaped table, he was looking at us like if he was reigning over us. Sitting at his direct side, was Namjoon and me, both facing each other. Then, next to me, was the usual place of Taehyung, now completely empty. Next to Namjoon, Hoseok was sitting and eating his lunch calmly. I didn’t feel like eating much but decided to honor Hoseok’s efforts and ate half of my sandwich.
At one point, the stare of my brother felt like piercing right through me. “ You should rest. “ He said at once and I raised my head.
“ I am fine,” I said emotionlessly. Jungkook cocked an eyebrow and I gulped down my last mouthful of food.
“ You haven’t rest ever since this morning and I got told you argued with Taehyung. I really think you should take the evening off.” He insisted. I knew what he meant by that. He hated it when we would fight altogether. Not that he happened that often but, as surprising as it could come, Jungkook wasn’t one to search for trouble. If anything, he’d rather avoid them. Which is why he wanted to kill the guy right away at first.
I stared up at Hoseok, who had to be the little bird who reported the whole thing to my brother since Jimin never left Taehyung’s side. Hoseok felt my eyes on him and lowered his head. “ It’s nothing. We just fell into a small discord but nothing time won’t erase. “ Jungkook hummed, finishing his sandwich.
“ Care to tell us exactly what it was about then? “ I sighed. I poked my cheek from the inside, not sure if it was a good idea to come on the subject tonight. But, hell, if he asked for it…
“ About him.” The silence that followed confirmed my dreads. Jungkook placed both his forearms on the table, waiting for me to continue. “ Taehyung hates to know he is under the same roof. “ Jungkook scoffed and poked his inner cheek also. It was a family pet peeve.
Jungkook met my eyes with his. “ And I bet you did your good samaritan as always? “ I felt shaken by his words. “You know Taehyung, whatever was his arguments, was right? “
I felt the anger burst from the inside once again. I let go of my fork that I used to eat some salad on the side. The noise made when it came in collision with the wood of the table caught everyone’s attention. “ Since when did we become so heartless? This is not only about an attack, it’s about a man, Jungkook. You only see the cover of the book, not the actual content.” He kept my gaze up, also starting to feel an immeasurable anger filling his minds. “ You are ready to throw him to his death without even understanding why he attacked in the first base.” Jungkook stopped breathing and I knew it too well that it wouldn’t be pretty.
Jungkook’s face turned from it’s silky usual white color to a bright and vivid red one. “ He was on my territory. These lands were ours for generations. He had no right to be in it. He signed his death penalty, to me, when he attacked my group. “ Jungkook said in between his teeth. “ I almost lost one of my childhood mate and my own sister. That’s enough proofs to have his head standing on a pick for other’s to see.” I knew it was coming but we couldn’t stop ourselves.
I placed my hands on the table and raised violently. “ I thought father taught you better than this.” I scoffed and Jungkook raised as well to get my wrist hard. I would surely bruise in the morning but at this point, our anger was getting the best of us.
“ And I thought I made it clear that I am the one in charge now. You don’t get to make decisions, don’t you understand? What happened in the forest shall never happen again, am I clear enough? “ Being the diplomat that he was, Namjoon confronted my brother and forced him to let go of my poor wrist.
“Jungkook” He called out for him. My brother harshly lets go of me and my stare to look at our friend. Even though he had a burst out of anger, I knew it was just because he was scared. Jungkook was scared to lose his pact. He surely didn’t allow people to see it, but he was worried as hell.
Namjoon eventually pulled Jungkook back down on his chair. An initiative that I was grateful for. “ She is not totally wrong, you know. “ The tall man continue. If anything, we were all surprised by his words. If it wasn’t already dead silent in the room, we could now hear ourselves breathing. “ Think about it, Jungkook. “ He forced my brother to think deeper. “ He was alone. None of us smelled another wolf in kilometers around. You know what it means. “ His voice was a tiny bit more threatening, but only to make my brother understand.
I frowned. If they all did, I didn’t. “ What does it mean?” I asked and Namjoon pursed his lips. Jungkook only stared hard on the wooden table, dead silent. Namjoon took the lead from there. “ It means it is a lonely wolf. He has no pack.” I gasped.
I didn’t clearly know what it implied, but having a pack for a wolf was important. The only thing I knew was that it kind of resulted in being homeless since a territory usually belonged to a group. “ What does it mean? “ I asked, slowly sitting back down as well.
Namjoon took a deep breath. “ It means that he has nowhere to go. No matter the reasons why he doesn’t have one, it means he must keep going. If he is caught by an Alpha on its territory, he risks being killed at any moment. “ I gasped and then frowned at the small group.
“ His legs. “ I mumbled. “ I remember his leg was hurt. he whimpered a lot while walking on it back in the forest. Do you think he got that from previous confrontations? “ I asked.
Namjoon was about to answer when he was cut by another voice. “ I really think so.” We all turned our attention to a visibly sweaty and tired Jin coming our way. He smiled at us and sat down. Without saying a word, Hoseok raised and walked to the kitchen to grab another sandwich for his hyung. “ His injuries were never healed and it looks like he got them weeks ago. He has scars all over the abdomen. One or two I suspects of being a few years old.” I gasped in surprise, yet my brother and Namjoon remained calm.
“If that’s really the case, the attack was probably just a defense system. That would explain why he didn’t attack Jihae but jumped on Taehyung. When he saw another wolf, he feared to be chased again and preferred to attack one on one than to face the whole group.” As the explanations came in, I realized why my brother made of Namjoon his second in reign. Namjoon was more than brilliant, he was a real genius.
Jungkook balanced himself back on the two back legs of his chair. “He can be whatever he wants to be, that doesn’t concern me nor any of us.” His tone was harsh and I knew why.
Namjoon sighed and bent forward a little. “ Jungkook.” My brother felt irritated. “ You know what the logic thing to do is.” My brother was breathing harshly and I could see his nostrils going up and down.
He snapped at Namjoon. “ Don’t even think about it, Namjoon. I am not accepting that traitor in my pack.” I gasped and stared at Namjoon as I understood his plan a bit better.
Hoseok finally came with Jin’s sandwich. the oldest thanked him and started to eat as Hoseok sighed and looked at Jungkook. “ You know he is right, Jungkook. Nothing says he is a traitor either. At least admit him for now. I saw the marks on his body when I went to help Jin hyung.” I was holding my breath all the time he was speaking. “It will take him sometimes. You almost killed him when you jumped on him, Jungkook, if you push him outside the house before he makes a full recovery, you better as well never had him in, to begin with.”
I couldn’t agree more with my dear Hoseok and I smiled faintly while nodding at him. Jungkook was on the edge of flipping the table over. “ What if he is a deserter? Hmm? A murderer? There is just too many risks.”
Through Jungkook’s dark smirk, I shivered. Namjoon raised from the table and announced at once; “ In any case, we are 6. He is 1.” A point that I couldn’t agree more on.
Jungkook then raised as well, ambling dangerously close to Namjoon, before speaking to him, face inches away from a treat. “ If he does the slightest little thing to hurt anybody in this group, I will make sure his corpse will be food for birds.” A faint smile draws itself on my face and Jungkook made a few steps to the door leading to the outside.
Namjoon wanted to catch up to him and thank him but Jin was faster at that. “ Don’t worry, we’ll make sure it doesn’t happen.”
I was proud to see that, despite it all, some of my oppas still had some common sense.
“ Jin,” I called out when he came out of the guest room later that night. He was holding a dirty bowl of water in his hands and seemed pretty surprised to see that I was still awake at this hour.
“Jihae? What are you doing? It’s already 2 am. “ I smiled at him and walked close enough to take the bowl of water he was holding. He frowned and let me do it softly.
“I couldn’t sleep. “ I explained and looked at the bowl of water. “ Is he that dirty? “ I tried to joke but Jin seemed too tired to be open to jokes.
“ He is burning up. Looks like his body is finally looking to heal itself but he is sweating a lot and I kept him under infusions for as long as home medicine can go.” I nodded. Jin was good. As we were a pack, we couldn’t actually send any of the boys at the hospital. That was why each generation had to have at least one doctor or health specialist. Taking the steps of his father as well, Jin had made sure he would be the most skillful doctor possible.
“ Is he still unconscious?” Jin licked his dry lips and nodded. “ Go rest. “ I said then. “ I can watch over him for the night. There won’t be any risk if he is still asleep.” I tried to make my voice seem carefully sweet and warm but Jin shook his head in negation.
“ If Jungkook learns that I let you alone with him, he will throw him by the window. Let’s not push our luck too far. “ I knew it was a fact but I wanted to help him. It was my idea to bring him here and I felt responsible. “ Anyway, Namjoon is supposed to take over for the night. Go back to sleep, darling. “ He patted my shoulder but I stood here.
I took a deep breath, showing I was about to make a huge speak. “ I want to help. Being only wetting his forehead to help the fever, I want to do something. I got it, you are the doctor, Jin, but I sure can be of some help, right? “ Jin pursed his lips, a faint smile on his features as he playfully pinched my chin.
“You really are some kind of good Samaritan, aren’t you?” I proudly smiled and he finally sighed and closed his eyes. “ I guess you can go change the water and sponge his forehead until Namjoon arrives. He is out searching for Jungkook. He shouldn’t be really long.” I hummed with satisfaction, showing him the sweetest of smiles.
“ Thank you, Jin oppa. “ I never really used the ‘oppa’ term before but this time I felt like it was adequate.
I jumped on my heels and headed for the bathroom near the guest room. I changed the water silently while searching for a new towel to humect the stranger with. Once the bowl filled with fresh water, I hummed in satisfaction again and headed back to the room. Jin was now out of sight and, most likely, off to bed.
I held my breath as I dreaded the moment I shall open the door. I realised I had never seen the stranger in his human form and I wondered how he would be. Would he be much older? Much younger? Would he be big or small? I had no idea.
To clear out my thoughts and doubts, I pushed on the half open door and was welcomed with the darkness of the room. I could barely see where my feets were going. I closed the door softly with my feet before heading to the bed and the chair placed next to it.
I saw the reflection of the moon hitting the metal of the pole Jin used to keep the bags of fluids attached to the man. I placed the bowl of water on the nightstand and sat on the edge of the bed, reminding me of my time with Taehyung a bit earlier. I didn’t spare much attention on the man yet but grabbed the towel before dunking it into the cold water.
I twisted the towel, just to get out the excess water and then put all my attention on the man. Only then, my breath was cut short.
I was facing a young man, probably in his mid-twenties, with soft and handsome features. Hell, I didn’t expect him to be so cold looking fabulous. I gulped and gently raised my other hand to swept away his bang. I carefully touched his wet hair out of the way. I got where his silver fur was coming from now that I saw the moon reflect on the silver strings of hair. It was like blond meets grey color and I found it suited him very well.
I then took the time to analyse his closed eyes, his little nose, and dry lips. He had soft features, added to an almost too milky skin. He was sweating like crazy, still deep into a stage near to coma. I gasped when I realised he must have been burning like hell. I took the twisted piece of cloth and gently tapped on his forehead to take away the excess of heat.
He seemed to have suffered a great time. His face was covered with bruised and, a bit similarly to Taehyung, he had a bandage on the neck, where Jungkook attacked him. I felt bad for him. I wanted to know more about who he was, where he came from…
He didn’t bulge when I drenched his face with cold water and I sighed. I feared he would remain in that stage for too long. He seemed too weak to wake up in any case. Not only was he bruised from head to toe, but he was swollen considerably and really skinny. His arm was coming out of the blanket and I could see that he must not have eaten correctly for days, if not weeks. The mama bear in me came out and I swore to myself that I would get him back in shape.
I turned to drench the towel once more. “ How can a man like him be alone like that? “I wondered, questioning how he happened to be what Namjoon called a ‘ lonely wolf’. When I twisted the towel, the excess water came out once more and I turned to the man to humect him correctly, only this time, I wasn’t welcomed by the same closed eyes. They were clearly open.
I first was taken away by the fact he was indeed awake. It was in the fact a good thing, but I couldn’t forget that I was now alone with a man who attacked us. I didn’t know what he would do but I could only hope for the best.
Hopefully, Namjoon would make it in time.
“ Y-You are awake?” I asked the stupidest of questions and the man only stared at me with the same dark orbs that pierced through me in the forest. He didn’t say a word and I realised how cold his face looked when he was only looking at me without saying a thing. I cleared my throat at once and got on my feet.
“ My name is Jihae.” I presented myself, offering my hand for him to shake, as it was our formal introduction. I waited for him to say his name or something, being even just a noise, but he didn’t. He could only gaze at me. I offered a shy smile. “ Not much of a talker, I see?” He followed my eyes when I looked down on the mattress.
For once in my lifetime, I didn’t know what to say. What was there to say anyway? He had been pretty injured and he figured out just how bad of a state he was in when he tried to sit up. He groaned in pain and I widened my eyes. “ D-Don’t. “ I said, immediately, pulling on his milky arm to keep him still on the bed. “ Jungkook didn’t mess around with you and Jin said you were previously injured. You need to rest.” My voice was filled with good intention but the stranger turned his head to the window, eyeing the moon raised up in the sky. I followed his gaze, wondering why the moon was much of a show for him. But when I came back, I noticed he was looking only at me again. What was it with him that he needed to look at me that much?
“ You must be confused, aren’t you?” Once again, the silence. “ You are in our house now. You are safe. We won’t hurt you but you must promise not to run away, okay? I heard my friends say you wouldn’t make it outside.” The first thing he ever said -if I could count that as a way of speaking- was that he scoffed. He visibly was against my last sentence. “ Please, just stay still.” I implored him sweetly and he eyed me deeply. I was paralyzed in that position and so was he.
Up until the door burst open, none of us could move. When it did, both shared the same reaction and looked at the door. Namjoon wasn’t ready to see the stranger awake and panicked at first. “ Jihae, come behind me.” I gasped and wanted to repost but Namjoon walked up to me and pulled my wrist to hide me behind him.
Defying the pain, the strange sat up immediately, as if the air had been drained from his lungs the moment Namjoon pulled me away. I couldn’t help but look at him over my friend’s shoulder. Namjoon looked doubtful of the man’s intention now that he saw how fast he was even in great pain. “Namjoon.” I placed a hand on his shoulder, act that the stranger oddly followed. Was he staring at every one of my actions or what? “ He seems okay. He didn’t hurt me. “ Namjoon relaxed and looked over his shoulder to have a glimpse of my face.
“ You better go now. I’ll take care of him. “ I knew that what Namjoon says equals to the words of my brother; we can not go against it. Head down low, I turned to the door, taking one last glimpse as Namjoon ambled to the pained man.
One last glimpse was allowed to each other, both with our mouths ajar, as I disappeared from his view and him from mine.
Starboy (Part2)
Part1- Part2 -
» Jungkook surely knows how to play things around. » 8.4k words » Jimin x OC x Jungkook
I couldn’t say that it wasn’t well deserved. Jungkook had all the rights in the universe to feel this way towards the way I acted over 5 years ago and part of me knew it was the right reaction to expect after I had been that mean. None on the less, it shocked me to see him being so reluctant to even talk it all out.
Sure, it had been a while, and maybe his way of ‘turning the page’ was simply to close his eyes to the truth, but part of me guessed it would have been less painful to the both of us not to deny we once were friends. But that’s exactly what Jungkook did.
After the first meeting, it was like if I never existed for him and the awkwardness was only worse due to the matter. People weren’t blind and they quickly got that something was fishy. When Jimin asked, I just said to him we had a nasty fight once and he never totally forgave me. Leaving the details behind, it was my best chance to get out of this week alive.
Still, I was eager to enjoy those well-deserved vacations and the boys were kind enough to dismiss our small argument quite rapidly, only to enjoy what summer had best to offer; the deep blue sea and a tour of Yoongi’s luxurious yacht.
Honestly, it was impressive how fortunate his parents were. For they paid for the most amazing of yachts. It wasn’t over the top as if possessing a yacht wasn’t extravagant enough, but it was large enough so that the 8 of us could remain all on the ship at once and not be on each other’s feet.
When we climbed on the boat, we could enjoy a nice view of the main passerelle area. there were some built-in coaches and a large resting area at the back. There were also small entrances to the front of the boat, if we longed the main cubicle of the ship. these entrances led directly to the front of the ship, where one could relax and enjoy the smell of the deep sea while the boat would break the water.
In the middle of the deck was the control room. Next to it were also two stairs, once leading to a small cabin in the shell of the yacht and the other to the rooftop of the said cabin.
Out of all the places I could have gone, I decided to opt for the top, right under the sun. Surely, enjoying the rays of sun would make me numb enough to burn my dark thoughts as well.
While the life of the boy’s party was still going on in the main deck, the music they put on the small stereo they bought playing hard as we left for the large of the sea, time seemed to be flying by.
I stayed there, on the long chair I installed on the front of the roof, while we were drifting at the sea. To our common surprise, Yoongi turned out to be able to drive the boat by himself, having taken classes in the past.
Under the warmth of the sun and the music playing the background, I closed my eyes. I had no idea what the boys were doing. The last time I checked, Jimin was at the mini bar, Yoongi was driving the boat, Namjoon and some of the boys were busy dancing like retarded on the deck and Jungkook was god knows where.
While I closed my eyes, hidden behind my big sunglasses, I heard someone coming up. “Noona!” Taehyung ran to me and I turned my face to see what was going on.
He was shirtless, not that it would phase me in any case since they pretty much all were and I was myself in a bikini, but his short were completely out of this world. There were pigs printed on them and I giggled at the view of them. “Tae, what’s your pro-”
“Why are you here alone? We have fun down on the deck, come on.” He said, wanting to sit on the floor of the rooftop but he jumped back on his feet when his calves touched the hot surface. There weren’t any other chair up there, so I just sat up and backed on the chair enough to lend him some room to sit.
He thanked me and sat on the edge of my seat. Still behind my big sunglasses, I was allowed to look everywhere without being caught and I used that technique to sneak around the nice view. We could actually still see Hoseok and Jin mocking Namjoon’s steps as they danced to some old Korean songs and eventually, Jimin sneaked out of the deck where the mini bar was, only to join them and sitting on the build-in couch.
“ I am fine here under the sun.” I said and Taehyung pouted slightly. “ Don’t give me that face, Tae.” I said with a small giggle while I pushed on his shoulder. “ You go have fun. You know girls and boys don’t always enjoy the same kind of activities.” I tried to point out something important. Well, normally, I would have enjoyed it but one of the boys now didn’t really want me near them so I was trying my best to keep a small distance at the very least.
Taehyung smirked. “ Well, Jimin and you seem to enjoy a few things together, why not some drinks and dance? “He asked and I blushed instantly. Luckily enough, my sunglasses backed up for me.
“I-It’s not the same, Tae, you know it.” I shyly admitted. “ Plus, I don’t want to be too much of a burden. It was supposed to be a vacation for you guys. “I tried to look as innocently genuine as possible but Taehyung cut me off guard right from the start.
“Cut the crap, noona.” I widened my eyes and he smiled, with his boxy trademark grin. “Oh, sorry.” He apologized. “ But you know you are not disturbing, I -we- told you. “ He paused and placed his hand more comfortably on the long chair while I pulled on my legs to sit in a butterfly way.
I found Taehyung honestly to be a nice a guy. He was so open and so familiar to everyone. “ You are really nice, Tae. Thanks.” I said with a little smile. He returned the favor and I sighed.
One thing that rarely happened with the man subsequently followed the discussion; the silence. Taehyung seemed to be there for a reason and little did I know, he would soon ask me something I wasn’t ready for. “ Are Jungkook and you really childhood friends? “ I let go a small gasp of surprise before I coped with the question as maturely as I could.
I wanted to already withdraw myself from this interrogation but I knew it was no use to lie to him. “We used to be a long time ago. We haven’t talked for a while.” He understood, nodding his head and making a familiar ‘O’ shape with his mouth.
“How is it that he seems so odd then? I thought it was because he saw you somewhere and he might find you cute while feeling uneasy knowing you were already with Jimin-”
“We are not together, Tae.”
“But no. It’s not quite that. When I asked Jimin hyung, he told me that you two were actually friends. I just don’t understand how one could not want to talk to their long lost friend. Shouldn’t you guys be in some really private reunion to celebrate or something? “I actually laughed at the innocence of Taehyung’s words.
I placed a hand on his shoulder. “Well, not everything is exactly how we imagine them to be, you know. Something happened between us and we stopped talking. Because of that something that I did, Jungkook doesn’t want to talk to me anymore.” I finally let out. “ It was all my fault and I think it’s normal he doesn’t want to talk to me anymore. He has all the rights."
Taehyung seemed to be shocked by my revelation and tilted his head to the side like a confused child. “What did you do then, noona?”
“I really don’t want to talk about that, please.” I beseeched him to let it where it was and surprisingly enough, he did. Instead, he did what he was the best at; make a 180 degrees subject change.
With that never-ending grin of his, Taehyung turned to the ocean and pointed at the horizon. “ Do you see that island, noona?” I hummed, barely seeing a little heap of rocks. “ Hoseok and I want to make a swimming competition from the boat till there. Do you think I could win?”I laughed and shook my head in disbelief.
“It’s about 2km away, that’s stupid,” I said and he seemed deceived. I sighed when I realized he was being serious. “ Yeah I think you could win but I highly recommend you don’t try,” I advised him and he smiled.
“Don’t you worry, noona, Yoongi hyung wants to get closer, further into the sea. We would only swim about a hundred meters. “ I smiled then.
“Now that’s more like it.”
I listened then the man talk about countless stories. That’s at the moment when he was yacking about another meaningless subject that my eye drifted from his and lingered around at the research of other things that would be worth my visual attention. Not that Taehyung wasn’t interesting but he was on the really talkative side and you obviously had to learn to let go sometimes, otherwise the megrim was waiting for you.
Though the back of the ship didn’t really interest me and looking at the boy dancing stupidly was not a preoccupation as of the moment, I looked forward, losing my mind at the endless sea and the spectacle that it held for us. One among many other, the sun, that was now falling on the waves, was giving it a tainted orange color and now the shore seemed to be further than it was ever before.
Something moving at the bottom of my eyes caught my attention and I realized someone was standing at the very front of the yacht. I was slow to realize who it was, blown away by the strong muscles of the man’s back as he was shirtless and sitting at the craft’s prow.
But the eden colored hair wouldn’t lie to me as I recognized them the second my eyes landed on the tip.
Jungkook.
He was carelessly looking at the sea, a bit like I was, but more intently. The way he would lose himself in each end of the waves against the rivage’s rocks was captivating and I found myself observing him for quite some time. He didn’t seem to notice either.
The wind was pushing away a bit of his hair, making it seem almost like an unrealistic hairstyle commercial. That’s actually that very moment that it hit me.
It was obvious that Jungkook had changed. In fact, he had nothing of the man I once knew and he had everything he could have ever wanted. He was tall, muscular, a jawline so sharp that it could have cut open a watermelon, really, he was probably one of the most handsome men I had ever seen. Only, he was also really fitting the stereotype and I held a small blame for the fact I wasn’t there to help prevent him turning into a playboy.
Somehow, there was, however, an amusing contradiction in between his looks and attitude. surely, my presence wasn’t planned, but he seemed to have changed completely after seeing me and it triggered an interrogation inside my brain; What if he didn’t want to talk to me because he somehow still cared for me?
In a way, it was stupid and presumptuous to assume such, but it wasn’t totally denial from any sense. Here he was, the apparent fuck boy, not even able to blend with his own friends, and why? Because he saw the girl who once took his virginity? It oddly smelled like vanilla and I cracked a smile when it somehow stuck more to the souvenir I had of the man than what I was seeing.
Once under my scrutiny for over a few minutes, Jungkook finally felt the intensity of my stares and turned around, beseeching for answers as to why he felt observed. When he did, I didn’t look away, knowing my sunglasses were not giving away the fact that I was looking at him directly. My face was turned towards the sea and so did I seem to be looking at it.
However, Jungkook looked at me as well, for sometimes. His head turned around his shoulder, he was less subtle that I might have been and the expression on his face was far beyond what I could ever explain. I felt, for a brief second, that he was eating me alive with the depth of his irises and he frowned as to convert his confusion into hatred.
“Noona?” I heard a voice I know knew practically by heart ask. I gasped and turned to Taehyung, feeling infinitely apologetic that I wasn’t listening in the first place. “ Would you please come with me? I want to go down and I would really like you to be with me.” With that solicitation came the puppy eyes Taehyung was infamously known for and I couldn’t resist.
I had to go and I left Jungkook to stare at our backs as we turned toward the stairs.
“Come on then, hurry before I change my mind.” I joked and Taehyung jumped on his feet happily. He was first to reach the stairs and I was close by, holding on his shoulders as we fell down the stairs and reached the passerelle of the navel.
There, I had a better view of everyone and I smiled. Jimin was quick to gather by my side, a drink in his hand. He offered it to me and I gladly took it. He placed his hand around my waist, as a habit now and the rest of the boys rounded up around the three of us. Except for Yoongi who was still piloting the ship at a low pace, and Jungkook apparently still at the prow, everyone was there.
“Finally,” Jimin whispered into my ear and I smiled. He kissed my earlobe and I giggled, cracking my neck to the side he tickled. I took a few sip of my drinks while they all installed their interest in another activity.
Namjoon was actually the one, quite surprisingly, to pick up the idea of snorkeling and everyone around seemed to be quite interested.
“Well, there isn’t enough masks for everyone, that’s for sure,” Hoseok said as he rummaged through the hidden compartment under the built-in couch.
From the opened cabin, Yoongi yelled to be heard. “ What do you think it is? A ‘make your own adventure trip boat’? If you want to swim, just jump in the goddamn water. “ Everybody laughed at the view of Hoseok and Taehyung becoming more excited by the second. I quietly sipped on my drink as I watched them all prepare.
Hoseok was the first to go. He jumped into the deep blue water without thinking twice, a thing I was quite surprised about, and Jin followed soon after. They both were too busy in the current to realize not everybody else did jump after them, “I’ll go get Jungkook.” Taehyung said and left us to find the youngest.
Upon that last sentence, I finished up my drink and Jimin’s hand on my waist seemed to be more tighten up than before. “Do you want another one?” Jimin asked me, talking about my drink. I turned to him with a smile and nodded. In that case, the more the better.
Jimin took my empty glass and left without a word. I knew he would probably want to join the boys after and I wouldn’t blame him for doing so but there was no way I was going into the water. Put apart the part where I was stressed because of Jungkook’s presence, I was also deadly nervous due to a completely different reason.
Obviously, Taehyung had to come back, with Jungkook, before Jimin even made it halfway to the bar area. Both men were talking when they arrived and I was standing there awkwardly.
It’s surprising how, in such awkward situation, I realized I was the type to look around a thousand times more because, prior to Jungkook’s arrival, I never noticed that I was now standing alone on the deck and that even Namjoon was already in the water. “Come on, Noona, jump with me,” Taehyung said, leaving Jungkook to come by my side and take my hand in his.
I quickly retracted and pushed away his request. “ No, Tae, go ahead, I don’t really like the deep waters.” I pointed out, knowing that Jungkook would know better and stare at me at the same moment.
And he did.
“There is nothing to be worried about. “Taehyung rolled his eyes. He grabbed my hand once again, forcefully this time. He brought me closer to the ship’s edge and made me look at the water. “ There isn’t any big fish, see? “ He asked and I slowly bent over the edge to look, the sound of the men in the water already far enough not to care about us anymore.
I heard the sound of the water clacking against the ship once Yoongi seemed to have stopped the motors. I gulped and felt like panicking inside. It wasn’t the fishes I was worried about.
But, that was just my luck. I know it was meant as a joke but Taehyung surely didn’t know what he was doing when he pushed on my back and giggled, making me fall face first into the sea.
Into the large and bottomless sea.
My body fell into the water and it was like a suction that liberated me only after a few seconds. I gasped for air once I was brought back up by the small countereffect of gravity but it was a quick breath only before I was dragged back down and started to inhale the water instead of swimming in it.
I felt invaded by the taking overtaking me and I started to move in every direction, trying my best to remain calm on the inside but nothing would do.
I didn’t know how to swim.
No matter how I would try to swing my hands and legs in every direction, it would only make me go deeper and, slowly, I felt like falling unconscious. I knew it was from the panic, however, because, if I was really drowning, it would have been probably ten times worse.
Every time my head would temporarily be coming back to the surface, I would hear the soft laughter of my friends. I focused on the few images that would come to my brain as I was slowly going off my mind. Taehyung was still giggling and, along with him, was Jimin who seemed to have been back. Not a single one of them seemed to realize I wasn’t playing around and I really was drowning.
“Noona, stop kidding!” Taehyung shouted from the boat, that seemed to, even though motorless, go further and further away from my tired body.
Softly, my head came to back to the surface less and less. Up until it simply didn’t come back up at all. Far from everyone, the only, and very last, sound that I heard was the violent sound of someone making a bomb into the water.
Resolved to die this way, I closed my eyes and stopped moving. It was only a waste of energy and I opened my mouth, letting my last string of hope evaporate into thin bubbles and I let it go.
My body was taken away by what seemed to be the current, who surprisingly brought me back up to the surface. Was it faith? “Byul.” I heard a voice call and I gasped for air, fearing the water that would soon fill my lungs once again but I was staying up on the surface this time. I opened my eyes and started to look around confusedly. “Hold on to me.” I heard a deep voice say and I turned my head, only to see Jungkook holding onto me.
His face was dangerously close and his wet bang was sticking to his forehead, making it hard to resist. I hummed and held onto his large shoulders. He began to swim back towards the boat and I held onto him continuously, as I was holding on for my life.
As we were now making our way back to the boat, I was able to hear the voices of the boys correctly and I turned to see Jimin, worriedly perched over the edge of the boat. I turned back to see Jungkook, who was looking at me. Our noses were practically touching and I sucked on my bottom lip. “Byul!” I heard Jimin scream once we were close enough.
Jungkook kept swimming until we were touching the craft and Jimin took over. “ Give me your hand,” Jimin asked me and I took his small but strong hand. In the following seconds, he lifted me up from the water and Jungkook helped him to get me back on the boat.
The second I was on all fours on the deck, I took a few seconds to breathe. Jimin was quick to put a towel around me and to help me get back up. To my surprise, now everyone was on the boat and the first one I saw rushing at me was Taehyung. “Noona, I am so sorry! “ He was almost crying and I coughed. “I didn’t know you meant that you couldn’t swim.” He was speaking so fast and he felt ashamed to the bones.
Jimin quickly pushed on his chest. “Are you fucking out of your mind? Get the hell away from her!” He shouted and I was the one to place a hand on Jimin’s chest this time.
“I-It’s a-alright,” I said with difficulty. I heard the sound of Jungkook getting on the boat after me and the water dripping from his shirt but didn’t dare to look back at him.
Jimin was the one who caught all my attention as he was directly being really possessive. It was a first and I looked around. “Y-You guys couldn’t know that I never learned to swim.” I continued.
In the facts, only one knew. And it was also the one who saved me from my own death.
Not even Jimin knew about that since the reason I was afraid of water and unable to swim was linked to a childhood traumatism.
Namjoon walked behind Taehyung and slapped him on the back of the head. “You really are an asshole.” He said and Yoongi then took over the lead of the conversation. I was now pressed against Jimin’s chest and trapped in his arms. Everyone was on the edge of their feet, anybody really moving.
“Could you just explain to us how come you are on a boat if you can’t swim?” Yoongi asked with his oh-so-serious tone. I froze in Jimin’s arms, avoiding their stares at all cost.
“Well, I-” I finally looked around. “ I just never really learned correctly and-”
“You are lucky Jungkook was quick to jump.” Hoseok interrupted me and I waited for time to do its job. I knew I had been lucky but I was feeling something much deeper than luck at this moment.
I tried to look over my shoulder to see Jungkook at the moment but he had taken the lead to leave the deck, directly into the stairs leading to the basement of the ship.
I watched him go the length of the stairs, into the depth of the ship, taking a bit of me with him.
At that point, I think I would have preferred to drown.
I couldn’t stay mad at Taehyung for vitam eternam. After he passed over an hour to beg for forgiveness. I had to concede. It wasn’t like he really did purposely tried to drown me either. It was just from a lack of knowledge on the matter and I was sure, he would have jumped right away if only he had known.
Only, Jungkook had been faster because he was the only one aware and I was thankful for him because of that. I wanted to go and talk to him personally, to tell him that I was thankful to him for everything but I was also terribly afraid. So I went with the rest as the evening came and we gathered into the small dining area of the cabin to eat a nice meal together, hours prior to our small travel back to the shore.
It wasn’t a huge meal, more like some small snacks but it was the ‘gathering’ part that was the real point there. Jimin traded the drinks made by hand for beers and they all drank, all except Yoongi and I.
I was never really fond of beers anyway.
The dinner table was small which resulted in some of us being stuck in between each other. I, for my part, was hedged between Jimin and Namjoon on the booth side of the table. Jimin was off the edge of the booth while next to me was Namjoon and, at the very end, in the corner of the booth, Yoongi. Taehyung was right in front of me while the rest were perfectly aligned on chairs facing us.
“Dude, are you going to drown the fucking chicken as well?” Jimin, who seemed to still be triggered by the events that happened previously, shouted at Taehyung when he almost spit the integrity of the sauce bottle into his plate. I giggled, even though Taehyung was still feeling definitely guilty.
There was something actually kind of funny to see the man pout so much. He really and honestly made me think more of a child than a man. “It’s alright, don’t mind him Tae,” I said with a smile and he smiled at me.
“I knew you were going to understand, noona. You are awesome.” He showed his thumb in the air and then threw a glance at Jimin. “Unlike some others that are too jealous and possessive.”
“That’s not being possessive, it’s called preventing murder,” Jimin said, unphased by Taehyung’s accusations.
On the other side of the table, Jin let out a deep sight that regained the attention of pretty much everyone at the table. “I like how it turned from a yacht tour on a sunny day to the drowning a piece of chicken.”
I would have laughed my life out if it wasn’t from the sound of my cell phone going off in the pocket of my jean shorts. I excused myself rapidly and took out my phone. “Excuse me guys, it’s my mom,” I said and pushed on Jimin’s arm to raise and leave the kitchen.
I had no idea why my mom was calling when she knew I was on a trip with my friends but I still wasn’t suicidal enough to avoid a mother’s call. That a whole new level of death thread anyway. I walked up to the deck and sat on the built-in couches. “ Hello?” I asked.
“Are you alright? How dare you not call me right away?” She yelled on the phone and I actually had to push it away from my ear not to lose my hearing sight.
I only put it back on after a few seconds since I knew she would eventually stop screaming. “Call you right after what? What’s the problem?” I wondered, more confused than ever.
Then she exploded. Like a mom.
“ You almost drown and you don’t even think it would be a good idea to call your mother to tell her that you are fine? “ Then I was left speechless. How could she even know that I almost drown that day? Was she a medium or something? That was impossible.
“H-How did you know?” I let out as a soft whisper but I knew my mother enough to know she would hear even a butterfly flying around at this point.
Right as I thought, she continued. “I was so worried about you, you ungrateful child -”
“Mom, how did you even know, for Pete’s sake?!”
“Don’t you go all crazy on me, young girl, I am your mother and I deserve respect-”
“Mom.” I let out as a single breath and then she sighed.
“Alright, alright. I received a call from a guy a few hours ago -argh, I forgot his name. “ She started. “It was really strange. He said something about him almost killing you by accident and he spent the next 13 minutes apologizing and said something about redeeming himself for the rest of his life." I started laughing way too hard. I was pretty sure to be heard, even from the inside of the cabin.
“Oh, you mean Taehyung? “I asked. She gasped.
“That’s it! That’s his name! Pretty name if you want my opinion, but pretty messed up child, unfortunately. “ I held a silent laugh while pinching the edge of my nose. This boy really did took my phone over while I was with the others, recuperating, only to call my own mother to apologize? This boy was right on point.
I played with the fences around the boat while talking. “It’s nothing, really mom,” I tried to reassure her. “Taehyung didn’t know I couldn’t swim and wanted me to jump into the sea with them so he pushed me. It really wasn’t intentional.”
There was a moment of silence. “And he called me because he just wanted to apologize for that? “ She asked and I hummed. “Well, that’s what I call a weirdo.” Again, Mom 1- Taehyung 0.
I laughed when she continued. “How did you get out of the water, honey? We both know you have the hardest of times while in it-”
“Jungkook saved me,” I said and I placed my hand on my mouth right away. It came out as naturally as it seemed but it had a way deeper connotation for my mom.
“Jungkook? You mean Jeon Jungkook? “She almost yelled in happiness. “You never told me you were going to see him. I thought you guys stopped talking a long time ago!”
“Oh, I thought so too mom, I thought so too.”
“ Well, you know that’s always a good sign. Her mother told me he was still single the other day! “ I wanted to slap my own face and I looked around the rivage as the night was now taking over the sky. “ She showed me a photo of him also, he matured so well! Isn’t he really handsome now? With that perfect face and the nice bod-”
“Ok, mom, enough,” I said disgustedly. Not that she wasn’t right because he truly was a hot piece of candy, but I surely didn’t want to discuss it all with my mom.
As I was forced to hear her go on about my old time town neighbors and totally forget about my ‘almost accident death', I was disturbed by the sound of steps coming from the stairs of the cabin. without moving or speaking, I looked over, only to see Jungkook himself, hands in his pockets, He saw me quickly, from the corner of his eyes, but just went on to go to the roof of the yacht, leaving me alone with my thought and my neverending speaking mother.
“Listen, mom, I got to go.” I finally said and she had to wait a few seconds before finally understanding she should stop talking.
“ What’s the matter?”
“I will call you next week, mom, goodnight.” And then I hung up. I knew I would have problems to fix the following week but, how they say, I was on vacation.
Once the call over, I realized just how silent the night was without a mother to yell at you about various subject. Quickly, my mind went on to Jungkook and how this was my chance to get on with a proper apology.
Where could he go anyway? In the ocean?
Although, if he wanted to get away from me, that could actually work.
Silently, as not to startle him, I climbed the stairs to the roof and waited, only to see him, feet dangling in the void at the edge of the roof. I licked my lips and made my way to him.
I was halfway to him when he looked at me, for the moment of a few seconds, and he then turned back to the horizon, as if I never really existed. It pinched in my chest and I felt like I needed to explain the very reason why I was there, to begin with. “ I-I just wanted to thank you for-”
“Don’t.”
It was short but so much more powerful than any other sentence I had heard. “ But you saved me from drowning,” I said with a disturbed voice.
It was the fact Jungkook was so placid about my presence when he should have been triggered that made me lose my goddamn mind I guess. Eyes still on the large, he wasn’t really minding my presence as I was standing right near him. “ Eventually Jimin would have noticed, I was just quicker. “
“Jungkook,” I called out of instinct. He seemed to have a tic and I saw him tilt his head for a fraction of second on the side, still not looking right at me. “I really want to say that I am sorry.” And he knew, just then, that I wasn’t talking about the drowning thing anymore. “I was very stupid. I was so young and immature back then.” From my point of view, I saw his jaw tighten and I let it all go as I was there. “I really thought it was better not to reply and go away.” And then I went for the last quote that changed everything. “I really don’t think it would have worked out anyway.”
Then, right after I said it, Jungkook snapped and got on his feet quicker than if there had been an earthquake. He turned to face me and I realized the height difference that was now drastic between the two of us. “It’s not about that and you know it.” I was speechless when he said that. “You were more than this, Byul, so much more and you screwed it all up. You were my friend, my best friend.” I closed my eyes, taking every word as a punch thrown to my face and stomach. “ If my ‘confession’ didn’t matter to you then fine. I am not mad because you didn’t love me back, then in the days.”
I reopened my eyes, filled with the image of the boy that now haunted my very own sub-conscience. “ Then why all the trouble? Why are you snapping at me and acting like I murdered your dog? If it’s not because I fucked up back then, why is this all for?”
He was holding his words and I knew it because, despite the fact that he had changed drastically, he didn’t change from the inside and his jaw was as tighten as it would have been 5 years ago. “ So, Jungkook, what is it all for then? “ I repeated my question, louder this time.
Then it all snapped.
“I am mad at you because you acted like a hoe and you jumped on the first loser you saw, just to get away from me.”
I stopped breathing. I didn’t date my ex just to get away from him, actually, it was far from that matter. “ Jungkook.” My voice became suddenly a lot softer.
His became harsher.
“I am angry because you didn’t want to remain, friend, while I needed you. “He continued. “ I am angry because I cared.”
I felt my heart wrecking from the inside. It was going so fast, his deep voice echoing through my temples. “But you see-” He continued. “The thing is that I don’t anymore. “ He smirked, more for himself.
I sucked on my bottom lip and he looked straight into my eyes. That’s exactly when I realized the impact of my actions when I realized just how much I fucked up.
“I just want to erase you from my memory. Forget that we ever were friends. “ He said in a lower voice. I knew he meant all that to protect himself but it was oddly breaking me apart as well. It wasn’t supposed to.
Why was I feeling so off about him wanting to stay away? Wasn’t it exactly the act I pulled for almost 5 years?
“Do you think that’s possible after all we went through? To make as if we didn’t know each other, not talk or act with one another? I get it you are Jimin’s girl and all and you can remain friend with them, it’s just- “ He stopped and looked around. “I don’t want anything to do with you anymore.”
I didn’t even have the strength to correct him when he said ‘ Jimin’s girl’ anymore. I wasn’t but at this point, who cared? “If that’s what you really want,” I whispered and he looked at me with determination. I felt like his eyes were searching for mine but I must have imagined it as the next words were to me as cold as ice.
“I do.”
And just like that, I watched him walk away from me, finally putting a stick right through my heart. I didn’t know why I felt like it was somewhat of a revenge where I was now to one to feel the pain.
Just like that, I stood there on an empty roof, my mind off to somewhere I didn’t know and my tears rolling freely the length of my cheeks.
I had lost him years after he lost me.
It was somehow like tasting to my own medicine and it was bitter as this can be. With a tumbling heart each time I would cross his way, I had to witness Jungkook turn into a complete statue in my presence. As always, boys being boys, they didn’t cast too much attention on it. Only I did and the more time was passing by, the worse it would get for me to get over the fact that I was slowly fading into pieces.
The morning, in the times when we would all happily hate breakfast, he was the one to start jokes with the others, ignoring my very presence. He was also a pure joy to be around if only he dare to recognize you as someone worth his time.
Just like that, days passed by and, with that, my conviction to pass nice vacation. I would stick by Jimin’s and Taehyung’s sides mostly, leaving the room Jungkook needed, always making sure not to step on the imaginative line he drew on the ground.
It wasn’t a bad time either. The boys were imaginative and would rarely stay still at the chalet. Many activities were on their mind and, if at first, I doubted we could achieve to make them all, the closer we would arrive to the weekend, the more I started to think that it might actually be just possible.
And, of course, no trip to the beach would ever be complete without late night incoherent drinking games.
This time, it was in the large living room that it happened. Sitting on the floor, around the moderately large coffee table, we gathered all the bottles of alcohol that Yoongi had in the place. With enough shooters to get us all drunk twice over, we were ready until Hoseok actually proposed a game I wasn’t too inclined to play. ‘Have you ever’
“Okay, so I’ll start,” Hoseok said, pouring the last shot, in Taehyung small glass. We all had a little glass placed in front of us and the game would end until the last one standing still would also fall, signaling the final winner. “ Have you ever cheat on an exam? “ I giggled and took the first shot.
Following me, Jimin, Yoongi, and Jungkook did as well. Now, following the circle order, it was Namjoon’s turn to ask a question. “ Have you ever had been on a bad blind date?” I let out a small chuckle. Actually, I was lucky on that matter. I had been in a relationship for over 5 years and just a few months prior to that, I started hanging out with Jimin. Actually, I simply never really went on a blind date. However, most of the boys had.
Gulping down their shots one after the other, Taehyung, Jimin, Hoseok, Jin and Yoongi did. The goal being to make the others fall before yourself, I wasn’t surprised to see that Namjoon didn’t drink but I was surprised Jungkook didn’t though. Others actually seemed to feel the same because Namjoon took over the matter into his own hands.
“Don’t you think you should have drunk this one, kook? “ Jungkook smirked and I felt like he changed completely in a matter of seconds. He bit his lips before looking at his hyung with confidence.
“Well, not that I liked them all but no, I don’t think anyone of them ended on a sour note. I found them to be pretty sweet, on the other hand.” I felt suddenly uneasy and Taehyung, who was right beside me, placed a hand on my knee.
He bent down to my ear. “You alright, noona?” I hummed and then the following boy went out with his question. It was Jin’s turn.
“Ok so.” He stopped to think while those who drank were busy pouring more liquor into their glasses. “ Have you ever kissed someone of the same sex?” I almost choked on my saliva and we all looked at each other with a smirk.
Taking all my courage, I took my shot and some of the boys gasped.
I actually heard Taehyung next to me whisper a little .”Hot.”
Jimin, on my other side, massaged my thigh and smirked at me. “You’ve hidden stuff from me, babe. If I had known.” He winked and I shook my head.
“ I am not into threesomes, darling, sorry,” I whispered and he giggled, taking back his composure. I seemed to have gathered enough attention for the time of few minutes that nobody really expected anyone else to drink but, sure enough, two other people drank.
Hoseok left his drink and drank it once shot, grimacing at the horrible taste. We all became silent and some of us even gasped at the view of Yoongi also getting down with his shot.
“Wait, hyung. “ Jimin paused. “ Please tell me it’s a joke. Was it together or-?” We all wanted to know and Hoseok was blushing like crazy. Yoongi, on the other hand, was silent and looking around as if he never understood neither drank his glass.
Of course, it’s Hoseok who cleared this all out. “ It was at a party and it was an accident. I was drunk and I was supposed to kiss someone for a dare. I didn’t know anyone except for Yoongi hyung and my crush back then. I was a coward so I opted for my hyung.” I burst out laughing, just as Taehyung.
We were both now rolling on the ground, going in every sense. “Stop laughing, you dumbasses. “ Yoongi shouted and we only continued louder. Jimin was holding his inside but his smirk was giving it away. There was just something about Hoseok attacking Yoongi that was getting me high on the spot.
Yoongi seemed to be rather serious about it and I already knew better than to play with the man further his barriers. I stopped laughing and tried to remain calm for a minute. Once it was finally Yoongi’s turn, he asked the question we all kind of knew would touch only one person. “ Have you ever slept with more than two persons at a time?” Eventually, everyone turned to look the most famous playboy in the room.
“Fine, jeez,” Jungkook said with a smirk and he gulped down his shot glass. However, there was one person that nobody really expected to drink alongside the man.
I turned to my friend with eyes big as tennis balls. “ Babe?!” I almost yelled and everyone looked at him. He kept the alcohol in his mouth a few second before gulping and he looked around, as innocently as a little lamb among his troupe.
“What? Do you really think I was that inexperienced before you? Those god-like moves had to come from somewhere, babe.” He winked and I turned around, rolling my eyes.
“Oh, please. “ I joked and he played me by blowing me a kiss. Everyone around knew the game was just getting warmer and warmer.
As expected, revelations were part of the frolic and we were stunned to discover info we would never have guessed were true otherwise. As such, after a few rounds and after Taehyung was starting to fight for his consciousness, we learned that some of us had rather interesting hobbies, passions, and fears.
After a controversial question asked by Jimin, we learned that Taehyung had a fear of feet, somehow. Also, the next questions allowed us to learn that Jin was a real fan of chick flicks and that Namjoon once almost burned down his own kitchen.
At this point, Taehyung was half aware of the game, Yoongi almost asleep from all the alcohol in his system and I was slowly sobbing into a deep thoughtfulness that I dreaded inwardly. “I think i-it’s-” I started. I looked at Taehyung. “ Tae, it’s your turn!” I pushed harder so he would get up from my lap.
He seemed confused but shook his head in determination and nodded. “H-Have you-” He had the hiccup. “ H-Have you ever-” Once again. “ - ever forget about your first t-time?” He asked and I laughed due to how stupid the question was.
Once single look around was enough to see just how wasted everyone was. Jimin was smiling, finally understanding that this was the first question, in a long time, that he didn’t have to plead guilty to.
Among the worse in the room was Yoongi, almost sleeping, Taehyung, obviously, and Hoseok, who was now giggling at pretty much the air itself. Namjoon was simply tired of drinking, sometimes looking as if he was about to be sick, Jimin was standing still but I blamed it solely on his high alcohol tolerance, that I already knew well enough.
Even in a drunk state, I felt pulled apart by the thoughts of the past few days and I found myself looking at my past best friend more than I wanted to. His dark bang brushing against his eyelashes was giving him such a confident aura and I felt myself shifting into my own place. He was such a handsome man now and he was literally the type of man I would go for anytime. I bite my lower lip.
As expected, not a single one dared to drink. A first time is always a bit special, you can never totally forget it. Just as you can’t really forget how it is to take someone’s first time.
That was another reason why my eyes were glued to the shadow of my old friend. I knew for a fact that I was his first time and I knew he still remembered. I hoped somehow that, despite the fact that he had countless women after me, he still remembered that I was the first.
Was a time when we gave each other our everything and when we somehow, for a little moment in time, meant it.
Before I was stupid and careless before I ran away before he followed me and before he put a break in any contact.
At the mention of the question, he seemed to be given a breath of life and I stared at him as he regained his posture and when he looked around until he caught me red handed. He didn’t move away when he became aware of my lingering eyes. He captivated my curiousness by looking at me with a hidden passion as the deformed circle became more agitated.
Yoongi drank that time, mostly because he couldn’t remember at that very moment.
I wanted too because my very first time wasn’t memorable but I wasn’t a liar.
And Jungkook did also, eyes not sparing me for one second, making me understand that he was over it.
He really wanted to forget he gave me that privilege.
For Jeon Jungkook, I was a mistake of the past and, surely, it was making me numb.
Look What You Made Me Do
» Some people are changed by heartbreaks in ways you could never imagine. » 5.7k words. » Taehyung x OC (Ft. Jimin) » Warnings: Smut & Bitchy Characters (is that even a warning? Idk anymore.)
One thing was sure, in the vast house party, you were not having the right kind of fun. You were not having the type of fun you usually had, nor the type you wanted to. This was the typical good girl gone bad story and you were already tired of it by page two. He made a fool out of you, he made you regret even landing eyes on him. His sweet laugh, his eyes reflecting a one-sided love and sense of affection. You strongly believed that you were over it by now.
Months and months onward, you prayed to be set free from the burning passion, this desire to always get back at him. The temptation was so beautiful and would have been so easy to slide in. Too easy almost. He changed you, he changed your reputation. You were a first-class student, you were now a first-class hoe to the eyes of the college boys. All thanks to him and his alluring look forcing you to do things you knew from the start you’d end up regretting.
You’d dance next to others. You’d french kiss the most handsome of them. You’d make them your muse the time of a night, the time to forget.
Much to your own surprise, you didn’t feel disgusting anymore. You didn’t feel anything. When they would brush their urging bulge against you in the depth of the night, the neons of the house party lights hinting right on the curve of your splendid body. You were making them mad with attraction. As long as they yapped like dogs, you’d keep them in chains anyway.
Names succeeded one after the other in your bed. Still, you weren’t to blame. You knew you weren’t. You learned with the best. Now you could make him proud.
You wondered what he would feel like to see you tease them, attract them with your lingering stare, your tongue, licking your own lips until you’d end up sucking on theirs. You’d wonder what he would do to see you dominate them all, to sometimes bending over to let go the amount of desire suppressed over the night. Would he even stare, would he even care?
His name was one not to be spoken. You cursed every letter out of it. You wanted to forget. You kind of wanted to be forgotten too.
And then he was there again. In your world, in your zone, and you wanted to escape the party already. He didn’t seem to really know you were there yet. His fingers curled up under the dress of a whore. A whore just like you.
You could have come to her, warn her that he would do the same with her but what would have been the fun in this? The show was much more entertaining to watch than to prevent. You were sadistic and you wanted to see others fall the same crevice as you did. Because it felt a lot more pleasant to be alive and suffer along with her.
His hands were now under her shirt, in front of everyone else, but nobody cared. People are too self-centered to notice anyway. Only you looked at him with an amused little smirk haunting your face. From afar, you encouraged him; do it once more. Kiss her neck, make her moan. Caress her stomach and make her ache your touches in the morning. That same damned moment of the day where you’ll tell her the contrary you’ll tell her tonight. You are not exclusive and you can never be.
You were entranced as the music changed. Your drink was getting warm and you couldn’t really give a damn. Her mouth opened as he sucked on her earlobe and you giggled. Another sip of your hot cocktail and then you’ll be on your own to find your prey. The same routine. A race the both of them ran simultaneously without knowing who the winner really was at the finish line.
What a comedy it was. He really played the part well and you felt colder than ever, as your irises spotted the shadow of a man you knew too well.
You pushed people, you did pretty much anything to arrive at the man sitting awkwardly at the homemade bar of the basement. He wasn’t someone one would end up laying eyes on more than once. He was not special. This you knew. You had seen him before at parties your ex threw without even knowing what he was doing there. He never mixed, he never drank, he never flirted. He just stayed like that, the nerdy guy with glasses.
“Having a blast?” You said in the most seductive way possible once you sat next to him. You saw it immediately, he couldn’t help his eyes landing on your exposed thighs. He was still in his seat when he stiffened and sat upright.
“I-I am.” He said nervously, adjusting his glasses. It was amusing to see. You bathed your eyelashes at him, making him immediately dumbfounded. You were laughing seductively, making it easy to feel flustered and flattered. It was all meant as an ego boost. The more he thought he had power over you, the more he thought you were under his charm, as if he had any, the easier it would be for you to dominate. The higher he thought himself, the harder the fall. And it was the fall that was the show’s finale.
You made a sign to the drunk dude taking control over the bar to prepare you both a drink. “I’ve seen you before.” Another faint to make him think he had already invaded your mind. He opened his mouth and turned to you a bit more. As the drunk retard in front, you both couldn’t, for the life of his, pouring the drinks, you sighed and took the bottle from his hand, pouring the rest of the liquid down. Once you had the drinks served, you turned to him, a sexy smirk plastered all over your face. “What?” You asked as he looked at you as if you were the lucky charm treasure.
“I-I just didn’t think you ever you know-” He started, flushing red as he spoke. He never drank and you knew that right but you bent closer, faking not to hear. his words. You used the time to make your legs brush against one another.
“You didn’t think I would ever what?” You asked innocently, looking at his eyes and then lips. They were plump and slightly shaking due to apparent stress. That was one of your favorite moment, the one when they feared you. it was always better to be feared than to fear.
“Notice.” He finished, taking down the drink without a single word to be convinced.
You smiled to yourself as you watched his face grimace as the liquor went down his throat. “How could I not?” You said flirtatiously.
When he stared at you, you felt like he was still just a boy. But his large shoulders said otherwise. He was totally speechless when you bite your lips, faking a laugh and started to caress his forearm. “Do you have a name?” You asked and he stared at you.
As your plan was working too well, you could even plan what he would be saying. “Y-Yeah.”
“Would you care to tell me what it is, charming?” The blood of his entire body flew to his cheeks.
“T-Taehyung.” He stuttered and, ultimately ashamed of himself, looked down at his lap. You exchanged your name with him in a sweet little recompense. You knew he would be screaming it later.
“Well, then, Taehyung, I hope I don’t bother you too much.” the fact you knew what you were doing too well, didn’t seem to take away the magic of seeing them hitch to the hook just like every time. “My mama just told me never to stay with bad boys and you seem like the only one worth calling boyfriend material in here.” His chest raised up and down as he deeply breathed. “Well- “You laughed cutely. “Unless you tell me you are not that much of a nice guy.”
“I-I am.” He stopped you right away. “B-But how did you know I wasn’t like- that.” You played dumb, your favorite card.
“You just seem like the type of guy who knows how to take care of a girl.” It was really all in the approach. You tilted your head as if you never flirted before. “It’s kind of rare.”
He scoffed. Perhaps the nerd wasn’t all that shy after a while. “Not every girl seems to think that. They usually prefer the bad boy type.” You smiled genuinely this time.
“Well, I prefer good boys.” You took three seconds to take down your drink. “They never deceive you. They never break your heart.” You pouted and that was enough to automatically put him more at ease.
“Did someone broke your heart?” He seemed concerned. He was exactly where you wanted him when you wanted him.
“Perhaps” You played the game well. “What about you? Never got your pretty heart broken into pieces?” He seemed uneasy at the question. Body language always sells more and you knew the answer before he had the chance to answer. “But you know what? It’s not important.” You stopped him from answering. You weren’t up for listening him complain about his love life anyway. “Let’s just focus on each other for tonight. I am sure together we could forget them, bad people.”
A soft smile appeared on his face. You won just like that.
Small chat was your forte. Surprisingly, so was his. Each person requires a different approach and you knew which one was the one you had to use the first 15 minutes you spent talking. The boy was a real open book anyway.
It was after he allowed you to crawl a bit closer to him that you went with your attack. “Do you know a place where we could be alone?” You asked and he stopped laughing at the joke he was in the middle of saying before you cut him. “Oh, no! Don’t worry, it’s not like that, I just can’t really hear you well here. There is so much music in here.” You were the best at it. You almost fooled yourself more than once and this time, you had to admit, you deserved an Oscar.
You could feel that he was hesitant. Still, he gulped and let your fingers brush against his hand. “I-I might know a place.” He said and you were on your way.
While the other asshole was still french kissing that low-class soon-to-be hooker, you were once again about to trespass the finish line. One more round before he tried to level up with you. You were unbeatable.
For whatever reason, Taehyung brought you to a place upstairs in the house. He seemed to know his way around every corner rather well but you blamed it on the alcohol, as all the time. You were already tipsy and you laughed as he pulled on your hand with a bit too much power to make it seem like he was eager to ‘talk’ to you.
Once in front of a closed door, he opened it and invented you in. “Oh, that’s a pretty room.” You said, walking around to see the place a bit more adequately.”How do you know about it?” He followed behind shyly, hands in his pockets.
“This is my room.”
That was going even better than you’d ever hope for. “This is your house?” You asked, faking the surprise. He nodded with an honest smile. “Sorry, you must think that I am so disrespectful to come here uninvited.”
“You were invited.” He said, not hiding his intonation filled with attention. “I mean-” He tried to catch things up. “I saw you before and you always make me regret not to talk to you and-” He wasn’t good at it. Not at all but you fainted ignorance for his own sake. “I mean, my friends said they knew you a lot- even if I don’t really- but you are pretty and I kind of forced them to invite you and-” He covered his face with both hands. “Oh my god, I suck so bad at this. You must think I’m a freak and-”
He was just making it so easy.
“Taehyung.” You giggled, amused. “It’s alright.” He still refused to look at you and bite your lip, walking up to him. “I’m glad you did.” You said to make him shut up. Of course, it worked too well.
“Y-You don’t want to run away?” He said, face all red.
You laughed and shook your head, looking at the ground. “Why would I?” You asked. “Believe me, I’m perfectly fine where I am.” As you explained that, you had made your way closer to him and you finally looked at him. “Can I ask you a question, Taehyung?” He hummed directly.
Your mouth opened up slightly to let him imagine exactly all the things you knew you could do to him. “What did you expect from this invitation?” You raised an eyebrow.
“Oh-” He said, backing away a little. “I suppose I just wanted to have the chance to talk to you, to get to know you a little.” You nodded silently, licking your lips.
“I would love to know more of you too, Tae. Can I call you that?” You asked with the excitement of a little girl. He seemed so happy and nodded directly. “You look like the type of guy I would settle down for.” There you go. You said it. What he needed to hear.
Of course, you weren’t dumb. It was too obvious from the start, the boy had watched you before. He had an evident crush on you and now you would play your ace. “A-Am I?” He asked dumbfounded.
“You are.” You retracted, not to look too suspicious. “Of course, I don’t know you yet, really. But you are pretty handsome. And you seem very caring and intelligent. Just my ideal style.” Actually, you could have felt guilty if you weren’t as heartless as you were. He seemed so excited about this. He definitely cared too much. He gave too much without asking in return.
You were like a black widow aiming for her dinner when you walked up to him. You stopped right before him and you bite your lip. With all the wrong intentions, you extended your hands and grabbed his glasses to slide them out of his face. The man behind the glass was different than what you expected. He seemed a lot more handsome this way and you wanted to pat your back. Even for a late night catch, he really was above great.
“You have very beautiful eyes, Tae, You shouldn’t hide them with those big glasses too often.” He stayed mute as you placed the object on the night table near the door. Then you went back to the man with an open mouth. “You also have beautiful lips-” You actually looked at them for a while and smiled as you slowly bent closer. He didn’t do anything to push you away. Perhaps he was blind as a bat, or he low-key wanted this just as much as you did.
You lips hit his trembling one with one icky breath. He seemed surprised as if he didn’t see you coming for seconds before. However, he did close his eyes and you felt the faint pressing sensation of his hands on your waist. He thought of himself in a fantasy novel, but you thought of yourself way further than this. Your own hands wrapped themselves at the collar of his polo.
The kiss was intense for a nerd, you had to admit. He was good at this, on the contrary to what you’d expect. When you felt the need to pull on his lower lip for access, you broke the embrace and breathed hard. “S-Sorry.” You said as the character you built up slowly was fading away. “I am still under the emotions after my ex broke off with me and he screwed up my reputation.” You faked to keep in a cry. “I shouldn’t have made that-”
Taehyung gulped and you only noticed then that his hands were holding you tighter and his eyes hardened under the sight of your open and plump lips. “You are right.” He whispered. “I fucking should have.” He then surprised you greatly.
The nerd was more in his bag than you’d expect.
He was the one kissing you hard now. You could have flinched under the hot touches. It was written in your flesh. He was trying to show the best of himself and you had to concede, it wasn’t unpleasing to the eye. He cupped your neck and face, pulling you closer than before. “Whoever did you wrong is a real jackass.” He said in between kisses and you smiled widely.
Yes, that person was a jackass.
No, you weren’t any better.
One kiss here, one indecent touch there, and you were laying under him on the bed, his body crushing yours, his polo long gone and your hands messing up his hair. He was worshipping your neck and you moaned as a result. The more you pushed him away, the more he pulled and the more you faked not to be ready, the more he wanted to consume. It was a game you were an expert at and you knew- oh too well- what you were doing.
It was pure sex in your mind. One more night, with a different set of arms, a different pair of eyes scrutinizing your body. But it was his unfitting words, deliberating trying to reach out to you that was turning you on more than usual. “I would never treat you like that - you innocent little flower.”
If only he knew that you were far from innocent. He saw you as this little girl eaten by remorses. The one once hurt and now forever scarred. A victim. If only he knew that not only you were now way worse, you actually were the rock he was going to hit at the speed of light. His own doom he was so desperately trying to protect from an invisible menace.
You pulled on his back, moaning when he pressed his groin harder on your crotch. “You would take great care of me, wouldn’t you? “ You said with an amuse sweet little voice.
“Oh, princess, I would.” He said, kissing you right away. “I would take you out, make you so happy. I would make you fall in love with me so bad.” He was there, heart open, ready to love you and you were unphased on the inside. How much more rotten could you get?
A few more seconds and his pants were gone, your dress tossed aside, leaving you both in underwear. “I bet you would.”
“I bet I will.” He corrected you as he caressed the length of your leg. “After I take care of this, I want to take you out. I’ve spend nights thinking about it. Please tell me you’ll let me.” He could have tossed the panties aside and slid right in. You were as wet as a waterfall.
“After you take care of what?” You teased him and he smirked quietly under his long bang.
“Of you.” He said, finally pulling down your panties in a long stride the length of those perfect legs of yours. He stayed speechless at the view of your cunt and you laughed nicely.
“That’s what I like to hear.” That got him out of his trance and he came back rushing, like all the desire consuming you both. Your arched your back when he started kissing your stomach. It was so personal how he really thought he could be the one to rock your world and how you knew you would be gone by the morning.
Taehyung was the type to please more than to be pleased and you were glad about that. For, when he finally reached the so devastating aroused area, he was ready to take on the feast. Your mama was right, the best medicine sometimes comes in the smaller pots. Sometimes, those you’d never expect can blow your mind.
The boy had the tongue of a god, the fingers of a demon. Once he had you spread open good enough for him, he dunked right in. The goal? He was reaching it with every lick and each attempt at sucking you dry. You screamed in surprise the first few seconds and looked at him, focused on you to make you reach the doors to wonderland. He was beautiful to see, working on you like if you were a masterpiece. He held on longer than most, even when you started to involuntarily ride his face instead of letting him do his job, as he was doing so right.
There was this side of you, you couldn’t control it. You needed to take the control so it was totally normal for you to grab his hair, pulling them in every direction as he was making you shiver. Your lower abdomen was on fire and you felt it building and building. Your orgasm was just a few licks away. a few blow on your clit, a few pump of his large fingers. just a few fantasies of his big cock filling you away.
“That’s it, beautiful, cum for me.” You’d swallow your pride twice to even think a guy like him could ever master dirty talk the way he did. “I can take it. I can take everything.” You doubt he could. His face could, Oh he was in for the big deal, but his poor heart would end up crushed.
With a suffocated moan, you came hard, leading to him drinking you up. The wave of pleasure still shaking your body, he made the best of it. You trusted him with your pleasure, and for once, you did right.
“Please, I need more.” You demanded and he seemed to be eager to give more even a tiny bit more than you were eager to receive. “I missed being touched so bad.” I lied and held in a laugh. Well, was it a real lie? You did miss it. Only the longing never turned out to be so long. It was a white lie. A lie actually so white, it could blind your eyes.
“I should have asked you out a long time ago. To think I could have been doing that so long ago.” He said as he was tossing his boxers to the ground. You held on the pillow under your head, watching his big member being revealed. He could have. But before him it was Jim, it was Doyeon, it was always another.
You didn’t really say a word when he turned to his jean’s pocket to take out his wallet and then a condom. You were just glad he was the type, just like you to protect himself and you waited, impatient to finally get it. Once you would, there would be no way out of that night. Just for one night, you would be his and he would be yours. Time was already ticking.
When he came back to you, you offered him your best pout and he understood; you were waiting for him. Without too much time lost in the ‘what if’s of the upcoming morning, he placed his member at your entrance. “You look so good for me. Are you even real?”
“This is real. So real it might hurt.” You let yourself admit and he pressed his forehead to yours.
“I need you so much.” He said, almost massacring your name in a long moan. “Can I-”
“Please.” You hurried him and then he pushed inside and you felt the world turning the opposite way. “Oh god, this is too big.” You complained. You closed your eyes and held in a cry of hurt. You saw him before he came in, but it wasn’t totally up. Now that it was, the game wasn’t the same.
“Oh sorry.” He felt like withdrawing but you quickly placed both of your hands on his asscheeks.
“No!” You said and he frowned.
“I don’t want to hurt you, beautiful.” He said and kissed you softly. You let him do.
“I just need some- time.” You said in a rushed tone. “You are filling me so good,” Once again, filling his ego. Even though it was the truth.
He waited a little while and then, once your face relaxed and he felt your walls a little less tensed around him, he pushed deeper and you realized he wasn’t even all the way in. Shit.
You took it in like a good girl this time and you let the ride begin. In and out, in and out, it was the same all the time, only this time new limits were reached and you held on to his shoulders. He led you to your extremes and you thankfully buckled up to follow. Even with the condom, the friction was too good to be avoided.
“I want to make you mine.” He said as the pace started to accelerate. Your wild parts were meeting and separating with every second and you lost the map once more. How many orgasms could this smirky little kid make you feel? You bite on his neck and that made him scream in pain and surprise.
“I’m all yours tonight.” You whispered into his ear. he reached a deep spot in you and you pressed him to accelerate. He did without too much hesitation. The sound of skin clacking against each other was the only noise loud enough to cover the sound of the music echoing in the background. Taehyung was leading you both further the path of desire. He was ramming into you vigorously without break and you saw the drops of sweat follow his forehead, cheek, neck, and collarbone.
He pounded into you at an inhuman pace when he finally grabbed your hips. “Not just tonight.” He hissed between closed and clenched teeth. “I know we are doing things backward, but - ahh,” He said as he got nearer his release.
“Cum for me too, baby boy.” You said shutting him up with a kiss. He was resilient, you had to give him that. Even then, when you felt your walls tighten and that he was fucking you oh so good, he held on longer and longer. It’s only about five minutes later that he felt his release hitting him. “ Fill me up good.” You said. It was enough this time to fill the condom being filled and Taehyung loudly releasing his pleasure.
The moments following were too cliche for you but you held on in honor of all the fun he delivered to you. He was still above you when he looked at you. He took the time he needed to calm his halant breath. Once this was done, he pressed his forehead against yours again. “I was serious by the way.”
Slightly aware of what was going on, you frowned. “About what?”
“I want to date you.” He smiled with such happiness. “I am not an asshole. I never usually do- that.” You weren’t stupid enough not to know what ‘that’ meant. “At least not like that.” He added when he realized just how ‘beginner’ this move must have looked to you.
“Taehyung.” You said, trying to push him a bit. “You know you really don’t have to-”
“But I want to.” He cut you. You doubted it, but you felt like he was melting your barriers. The way his eyes brightened up and the smile on his face, still all sweaty. It was like a kid on Christmas morning. You couldn’t really smile that much because part of you knew this would make it harder for him. And he would get it badly enough.
You luckily didn’t have to be the deal breaker. Once again, the job was someone’s else. The sudden sound of someone knocking on the door made you both widen your eyes. His more than yours, of course.
“Tae? Are you in there? “ A masculine voice said on the other side of the door. Quickly, you got up your feet and grabbed your underwear. You put on your panties and thanked the gods that you still had your bra on.
“Yeah, just a minute.” He screamed at the person. He rapidly took the glasses and put it back on his face. He made you a sign and whispered ‘quickly, in the wardrobe.’ You rolled your eyes and executed yourself.
Right in time, you entered the wardrobe. The door of the bedroom got opened and Taehyung was back under the covers, his shirt on. “What do you want?” Taehyung asked the person. Curiosity got the best of you and you took the fact your hidden spot actually had volants and you could see through them.
The other man sat on the bed at the edge of where you were screaming still a few seconds before. You would have clenched your walls if it wasn’t for the haunting face of the man now haunting the room. “I just came to check on you, mate. Jungkook told me you were into a girl and that he saw you going someone with her.” He checked on the ground, where a few of your clothes were still laying. “Judging by this you finally got lucky. “ Both men laughed and you could have sworn that it was like if Taehyung himself had forgotten he was fucking you a few seconds earlier. “How was she? Is she in the shower?”
“Oh, she is more than fine. so beautiful and I think-” He took in a deep breath. “I think she likes me too.” You pursed your lips and saw the man you despised so much tap Taehyung on the shoulder.
“I’m glad for you, man. You deserve a good girl. You better invite me to the wedding.” You wanted to puke at once and Taehyung felt a slight embarrassment.
“Yah, stop it.” He said shyly. “This is just the type of girl so mesmerizing. You can’t not fall for her. I bet you would too.”
You wanted to laugh. What a great irony. “Oh, I’m not a hopeless romantic like you, friend. I leave all those mouchi mouchi kissy stuff to you. You know how I am.” Taehyung hissed, probably aware you were still there.
“One day you’ll really break one of those girl’s hearts.” He warned his friend. This asshole had to guts to bend down and grab my own clothes that he didn’t even recognize.
“I did break a few. That’s part of the game, mate.” He joked. “She really had a large breast. You scored high.”
Your hour was there. It was your time to shine and so you pushed open the door of the wardrobe, exiting with class, still in your undergarments. You swore, the expressions on both of the boy’s faces was the cue of the show. Taehyung immediately wanted to walk up to you to cover you up. However, the other person was looking at you flat dead.he murmured your name and that’s how Taehyung came to stop breathing. You were glad that this idiot never dare to present you to his friends officially. This was making a moment like this so much more realizable.
“Long time no see, Jimin.” You said a smirk on your face. Your natural attitude was back and you walked to him, grabbing your dress from his hands roughly.
“Y-You guys know each other?” Taehyung asked, confused. Jimin’s face was throwing shades your way. You knew what you just did. You heard by others of that one friend really dear to the famous Park Jimin’s heart. That one friend he had since he was young and that was his opposite. The one that he wanted to protect at all cost.
The one you just broke the heart of.
Oops.
“Don’t mess that pretty little head of yours, darling.” You said to Taehyung. “This is a long story.” You stared back at Jimin. The tension was there in the air.
“Please tell me it’s all a joke,” Jimin said, almost throwing his arms in the air. “Tae, please tell me you didn’t do it with that bitch.” You scoffed and poked your cheek with your tongue.
“The bitch you made, love. Deal with it.” You replied. Taehyung raised, still in boxers underneath it all.
“Don’t treat her this way, Jimin. I don’t know what happened to you both, but we will go on a dat-” He said, trying to convince his friend that you weren’t half as bad as you really were.
“About that- “ You said, finally putting back your dress. “That won’t happen.” You said, amused. Taehyung’s face fell hard and you laughed. “Sometimes, you better listen to your friends.” You winked at him.
Jimin was silent as a stone. You had hit right at the most important thing in his life. His best friend. Taehyung was hurt and, yes, part of you was sorry for him. He suffered along with a path of pain you created after you were hurt yourself. But that was the salty price of karma.
Be feared of or fear yourself.
And you were done being the scared little lamb a long time ago.
You pulled your hair up in a ponytail. “Nothing personal, cutie pie.” You said to Taehyung. “You were actually really helpful. Really skillful. “ You laughed wholeheartedly. “In the end, I suppose that’s right-” You looked right at Jimin one last time.
The look meant so much more. In one glance you returned the ball on his side. Look what you made me do.
That was all just a game he initiated.
“-maybe I’m simply just a bitch.”
Except you could play it much better.
