A doodle to celebrate December!
This was created with good ol' fashion pencil work and some Photoshop tricks
2 options for an SDSU AS event, highlighting the diversity of the organization
This poster series was created for SDSUâs Legal services. The services aid students who need help with receiving and contesting traffic tickets, speaking with landlords regarding property damage, legal consulting over the phone, and saving money for future expenses.
To keep the series cohesive, I illustrated the various themes through a cut-and-pasted paper aesthetic that incorporated grain and paper texture. I kept a single color scheme that utilized neutrals with a pop of red. Since the text is minimal, I aimed to draw attention through a single constructed element.Â
Two posters options made for SDSUâs DeStress Fest. All icons and patterns are hand-illustrated.
Over the summer, thousands of kiddos ran around the Mission Bay Aquatic Center Watersports Camp in the tshirts I designed!
The camp likes to keep their tshirts current with companies such as Billabong and Ripcurl, so I explored the illustrative and hand-written font visuals that have come back in style.
The surfer design was screen-printed on the front of the shirt, while the various emblems were printed on the back according to whether the person was a camper, staff, or counselor in training (C.I.T.)
For this typography project, I was tasked with creating an editorial spread to showcase an interview with myself and the work I have done in the class so far.
I aimed to display my personal design style with a mix of structure and hand-crafted elements. The cover photograph was captured using long-exposure photography, and I chose to carry the same effect into my self-portrait. I maintained a Black&White color scheme throughout my course work, and chose yellow as an accent.
View, read, & enjoy!

Practicing my brush lettering with a found image.
Created as a type exercise, this poster utilizes magazine letterforms to convey chosen song lyrics.
I kept the type simple, modern, and clean to follow the mood of Details in the Fabric by Jason Mraz. The background is a found image, and the brush lettering is hand done to add a layer of complexity to the background.

Final product of Makeshift Studios
The wood pattern and all elements were printed using a transfer pen. The inside of the box features the logo, a short description, and instructions via icons.
The box uses perforations to pop out stands that create a lightweight, easy to assemble art easel.
In this group project, we were tasked with created a dual-purpose gift box. The art supply carrier created a make-shift easel for the young/new painter.
Final Solv packaging, with black on black and black on silver screen printing
In this packaging project, I was randomly assigned Denmark and tasked with finding an appropriate cultural item and create relevant packaging for it. Keeping in line with Denmarkâs sleek and minimalist aesthetic, I chose a stainless steel water pitcher that mirrorâs the cityâs infrastructure. The packaging emphasizes the objectâs angles, while the screen-printed black on black typography provides simple and elegant touches.
All packaging and screen-printing is hand done
