it's so ironic who the writer wants to come so hard after Lauritz for not checking his misogyny when he literally wants female servants to unionise, is one of the only pro-abortion characters based on his analysis that lack of birth control is one of the ways the upper classes keep the workers down and has literally 0% judgement about Agnes sleeping with Boldt premaritally and in fact punches him in the face for not standing by Agnes when she thinks she's pregnant

Yes, he still expects women to do "women's work" around the house because he hasn't considered that cultural assumption, but painting him as a brocialist based on that when almost every other male character is far more misogynistic than he is is just part of the writer undermining his character because she doesn't like communism
