Søllerød Rådhus designed by Flemming Lassen and Arne Jacobsen was built in 1939-42. The building was landmarked in 1992 and is now undergoing a thorough restoration. The original radiator covers were bulged and painted and since the original design required that the wallmounted bench and lamp was removed before the radiator could be checked. The new radiator covers have the same materiality and proportions as the original but the combination of hinges and sliding doors makes it easier to work.
The new radiator covers were beautifully constructed by Gørtler-Metalsmeden ApS.
