I find it very funny that sawant's duryodhana monologues about how he is manipulating karna and how cleverly he has made karna loyal to him etc etc ...and the next page is just duryodhana describing how beautiful karna is, and how he forgets his envy ,his jealousy and everything else when karna smiles...like dude !!

It was the knowing,the almost ache for his end.It's the only thing that will bring him peace.Bleeding out on the red ground of kurukshetra, offering her greedy countenance the last of his blood ,his penance.

But in some fleeting moments,where he can't bring himself to even look at himself,at what he has become,he mulls,does he deserve it ?,the salvation that is death ?.To be rid of his sins and this Godawful life ?Does he really get to be relieved of it's weight ,that had already crushed the last of his soul ?...

Karna hears the flap of his tent open.He doesn't bother to turn.Duryodhana walks over without making a single sound.Yet,karna knows it can only be him.

This bloody war,born out of their greed and ego and self righteousness.It only ever had one ending.Duryodhana knows it too now.Has come to the realisation karna already had at the very beginning.But it doesn't matter.Hadn't mattered then, Doesn't matter now.The two of them had stood at the edge of a cliff.Hurled themselves off with the last of their strength.He thinks, what would duryodhana make of his betrayal if he ever came to know ?.,Even though karna is fighting on duryodhana's side,he knows ,the promise he gave to kunti was one of the cruellest betrayals,as a kaurva general,as a warrior and as duryodhana's closest confidant.What would duryodhana do,if he knows that karna was the one who sealed his fall ?.Does karna still reserve the right to soften the impact ?To shield duryodhana with his now vulnerable body ?.The right to lessen his own pain by being a selfish martyr ?. Isn't it so ironic that on trying to be loyal,he had betrayed both sides....

"Karna..."Duryodhana called,his roughened voice shaking karna out of himself.Karna doesn't have it in him to look at Duryodhana.Duryodhana had damned the entirety of kuruvamsha,and karna had damned duryodhana."Karna" he called again and moved to stand infront of karna."Will you please look at me ?"Karna's gaze stubbornly remained on the ground."Look at me Angaraj !"It was his king's order now.Karna looked up at those dark brown eyes.
