Last anon again. Yeah, that makes sense. Sorry if this is another weird question, but how do you know that you've really repented or if you're doing something that's bad without knowing? I'm afraid of sinning without knowing it and being a false convert. It might also just be a me problem, idk. There's just a lot of Christians with wildly different views on what is and isn't okay and it's hard to know what to listen to, since they all seem to have scripture to (somewhat) back it up.
Repentance is at its core a change of mind about sin. When you've truly repented, you've changed your mind about the sins you used to live in; where you once loved and celebrated some sinful thing, you now see it for the evil it is and genuinely want to be free of it.
The one who has truly repented may still be tempted by various sins, but they will hate those sins and actually struggle against them, desperate to forsake them for good. This attitude will be constant for the rest of the Christian's time on this side. As you walk with the Lord, you become more spiritually mature and more knowledgeable of the Bible, you'll discover more things in your life that are sinful that you didn't have any clue about before, and then you'll repent of those things. You'll continue this process until Jesus returns.
Let’s begin here.... God is extremely HOLY every part of Him and His holiness could obliterate us at our sinful iniquitous core. Without Christ we are beyond hopeless any attempt to offer anything to earn, bribe or warrant forgiveness or anything from God.
God was satisfied with the death of his Son to become a curse, absorb God’s absolute justice for our sin TOTALLY!!!
Everyone who accepts Christ - is forgiven of sin past, present and future.
Good days - ooops I did it again days and beyond.
Sin cannot be classified from (our) limited reasoning of discerning of what is truly sinful to God and what’s not.
We often make religious attempts to evaluate from our finite minuscule understanding.
Look at this
James 4:17
New Living Translation
Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.
Or
Romans 14:23 part B
Christian Standard Bible
But whoever doubts stands condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith, and everything that is not from faith is sin.
Or
Romans 3:10
New Living Translation
As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one.
And there are many more scriptures
Without Jesus we all are doomed!!!
We must trust Christ and His finished works to save us.
We’re often perplexed by guilty thoughts and the overwhelming emotions associated with them from a particular sin or sins that the accuser of the brethren (satan) assaults us with.
But our response should never be Lord, I promise I will (do) better but rather Christ did better on my behalf and therefore I will celebrate the freedom that I have in Christ and allow His perspective of forgiveness to govern against the condemning thoughts and feelings that’s tormenting me.
I will then trust in the grace of God - God’s enabling influence to help me do the will of God and develop my dependence on His grace instead my “try harder Christianity” to rescue me and give me peace.
I hope this helps someone.

What advice do you have for a single Christian girl who thinks they’ve lost their purity? Can they get married someday? Are they qualified?
Of course they can. When we come to Christ, we are considered brand new; sins from the past do not cling to us (2 Corinthians 5:17). And sins committed after becoming a Christian are forgiven and washed away once we sincerely acknowledge our fault before God and repent (1 John 1:9).
Amen - If not ALL of us - ALOT of us are guilty of this. Thank God through Christ read this below -
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”
Hebrews 10:10, 14 KJV
JESUS PAID IT ALL!!!
I pray that singles have matured discernment and great Spirit filled friends to help them in the process of meeting a suitable spouse - NOT all men are husbands and NOT all women are wives. We must be developed to be Christ centered spouses.
God Bless
Do You Truly Love Christ?
You say you love Christ, but you don’t even have the desire or the hunger to know Him through Scriptures. Something is wrong. You can’t have the former without the latter. “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” (2 Cor. 13:5).
One of the Greatest scriptures in the word of God that changed me greatly is found in Phillipians 2:13
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
Philippians 2:13 KJV
The Grace of God is God’s favored ability that enables us to will and to do of His good pleasure.
Sometimes our minds have been so scarred with experiences and damaging information that has programmed our thinking to compete against His influence of Grace in our lives.
I have found that He gives us inner promptings
We must cooperate with those promptings with corresponding actions by His enablement.
When I find myself struggling to be consistent in prayer or in the word. I must ask myself what thought have I exposed myself to from the demonic faith hacker?
When Holy Spirit prompts me to seek God I must recognize the distractive influence of the devil through family, friends, appetites, demonic suggestions to steer me from doing what Holy Spirit is prompting me to do.
Once we develop in the discipline of making God the priority- He becomes the priority and leader of our lives.
““How it must break His heart when we walk around so desperate for the kind of love He waits to give us each and everyday.””
— Lysa TerKeurst (via wildflowers-and-grace)
Some people have been broken by a system outside of the will of God that failed them. Logical love is synthetic
