😂 😂 Hello yes I am one million years late but I got the official osomatsu san fanbook!  Crying crocodile tears ah…

Here’s the list of new canon! things I’ve discovered by reading this book (which I’m pretty sure everyone else knew except for me bc I’m just oblivious):

Jyushi’s pants/shorts are actually swimsuit trunks

Karako wears red heels

Totoko has a big brother who’s a boxer (hasn’t made an appearance yet)

Matsubara Shu wrote all the episodes I liked loved

The director told Kamiya Hiroshi (Choromatsu’s VA) that “Choromatsu is the most dangerous brother”. He understood what he meant after the self-awareness rising episode.

Fukuyama Jun (Ichimatsu’s VA) said that Karamatsu is a ‘cheat character’ because despite being a supposedly-painful character, he shows his cool/mature personality as a big brother way too often, especially in ep 24.

When the staff asked what Kokuryu Sachi (Chibita’s VA) might say to Chibita if she gets the chance: “Please get married. I want to see you happy. I’m not saying that you’re unhappy but I wish you can find someone you’ll be happy with.. wait, maybe you already have Karamatsu?(laugh)” 

Totoko’s parents also run a love hotel (never used this idea for an actual episode however)

Fukuyama Jun said that voice acting for Ichimatsu was a ‘gift/reward’

During a Q&A panel, MC asked the voice actors what their character’s fetishes might be. Sakurai Takahiro (Osomatsu’s VA) said that Osomatsu’s fetish is probably “matsufetishism”(Osomatsu’s actual fetishes include: oppai, booty, legs, smell.. basically everything you can imagine). When the fangirls at the event screamed, he yelled back “Don’t think about that/don’t go there!!”
