INFO ABOUT ORANGE SUNRISE (HAJIME)
• Her ear accessory is a ribbon decorated with oranges. It is a gift from Chiaki
• Pace Chaser
• Average racer, no G1 wins on record. (otherwise, nothing special)
• She over-trains herself and ends up frustrated that she continues to lose races anyways
• VERY Muscular
• She gets pulled from Tracen Academy in her first year under mysterious circumstances
INFO ABOUT LUCKY SHOT (NAGITO)
• Her ear accessory is a four-leafed clover charm
• End Closer
• Slacks off of training a lot due to the fact that luck is on her side for nearly all races
• Has more interest in watching more talented umamusme rather than racing herself
• She constantly makes fun of Sunrise for having no G1 wins. Lucky often comments she shouldn't have even been allowed into the academy
INFO ABOUT BATTLE AT SUNDOWN (IZURU)
• Front Runner
• Unlike Izuru, Sundown is entirely aware she is Sunrise. Changes were only made to her body rather than her brain. She's not emotionless and is kept in check by the scientists and her current trainer. (Junko)
• Sunrise is entirely conscious through non-stop training/racing.
• She's often given painkillers but Sundown is in constant pain from overworking and the surgeries.
• Her main use is to win money from G1s
• Sundown's racewear is very covering, as not to reveal the scars on her body
• Once Sundown gets into racing, she once again becomes Lucky's biggest rival
• The experiment is not discovered for nearly a year
• This operation is eventually found out and shut down, and Sunrise is sent back to Tracen Academy to recover and be kept under watch
• For her own safety, Orange Sunrise is currently banned from racing
EXTRA AU INFO
• Lucky Shot changes as a person throughout Battle at Sundown's career after being knocked down so many pegs when Sundown beats her in every G1 they both participate in
• After Orange Sunrise's recovery, she and Lucky form a much healthier rivalry compared to the previous two. Lucky always has her eyes ahead, determined to catch up to Sunrise
• Their rivalry still continues into their eventually developing romantic relationship. They may be gay but they still love to race each other
• Makoto Naegi is heavily involved in the shutdown of Sundown's career (where he's affiliated is undetermined)
• Sunrise is originally a pace chaser in comparison to how Hajime was one with the crowd, the majority. She becomes a front runner to showcase a carving of her own (admittedly bad) path, a refusal to be behind anyone
• Junko Enoshima is, in fact, banned from training until further notice. Probably forever
