First semester grades were released today. That’s about how I feel about it. I know better what I have to do moving forward, but for now, I’m gonna go talk to some food about this.

Some Hindsight after First Semester of 1L

1. Nothing can truly prepare you for law school, you just have to get through and trust the process

2. Those “articles” on certain websites about who should or shouldn’t be a lawyer and what you should wear and all that are bullshit

3. You can do this

4. Tenacity is everything

5. Stay true to yourself and your process

6. Do what works for you and pay the others no mind. Outlining doesn’t work? Cool! Do what does!

7. The other 1L’s are just as lost as you are so take the “advice” with a grain of salt

8. Keep the big picture in mind and try not to let the tunnel version take over

9. Remember that you’re still a person capable of great kindness
