Deputies received a report of a person drinking in public in Friday Harbor.

At about 2130 hours, an employee of an Eastsound business found two sets of books. She called the Sheriff's Office to turn them in as found property. Nothing indicates ownership on the sets of books.

A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a report of a suspicious postcard received by a Lopez woman. The card contained no threatening information, and was stamped "rejected" and returned to sender.

At 2117 hours a Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of an attempted malicious mischief on A St. The unknown suspect put two large screws under the victims tires in an attempt to pop the tires. The victim noticed the screws before any damage was done.

Citizen reported his identity was taken over and services with Dish T.V. were charged using his name and Social Security Number.

A person brought the listed iPad and case to Dispatch. He stated the items were found in the road at the intersection of West Side Rd at Pleasant Valley Rd; near the large metallic pineapple sculpture at the location.

A Lopez School employee found a voice message that had been left over the weekend where it sounded like there was an altercation occurring in the background. A deputy went and checked on the caller, and found everyone safe.

A Lopez Island man reported that his identity had been fraudulently used to open a bank account and apply for credit. His credit monitoring service detected the activity before any known monetary loss was suffered.

A citizen turned in a women's coat that was recovered on a fence next to a doctor's office in Friday Harbor. The coat has been logged into evidence.

An Eastsound man donated a firearm to the Sheriff's Office for disposal and or sale because he did not wish to continue ownership.

A Lopez Island deputy responded to a report of three horses running loose in the area of Fisherman Bay and Dill Rd. The horses were subsequently corralled in a pasture nearby until the owner could retrieve them.

A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a residential burglary alarm. While travelling to the residence he learned the alarm was cancelled. It was determined that the alarm was activated after a door was blown open by hard winds.

A Lopez Island Deputy met with a Lopez Island resident and received a found bicycle. The reporting person stated he found then bike while he was on a walk. The bike owner is not currently known. A found property report was completed.
August 27, 2015
Complainant states he found item in road, near the Friday Harbor Airport. Item is believed to have fallen off of a motor scooter in the area. Complainant says he checked with local moped rental businesses, and looked around the area for a scooter missing the belt cover; he was unable to locate an owner.
Sunday, September 6
A Lopez deputy responded to a report of a suspicious bicycle left on a property in the village. Bicycle was collected for safekeeping.
Saturday, September 5
A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a boating collision which occurred earlier in the afternoon. The involved parties were involved in an argument over a crab pot run over, and the boats made contact resulting in damage to one. Investigation continues.

A Friday Harbor Citizen reported his identity was being used in Chicago to pay for Direct TV.
