Bucky is a he/him enby and I will die on that hill
Yknow Bucky calling himself V throughout Cold Front is such a nonbinary thing to do like
you go enby! go by a single letter!
Hey so if we’re going to talk about Greek history can we not talk about Christopher Nolan and instead talk about how two thousand Greeks starved to death during the Nazi occupation in WWII? Can we talk about how 83% of the country’s Jewish population (59,000 people) was murdered in concentration camps? Can we talk about the devastation post-WWII caused by the Greek Civil War? Can we talk about how the Central Mediterranean migration route (from Algeria, Egypt, Libya to Italy, Malta and Greece) is the deadliest maritime migration route in the world, with 35,144 missing migrants recorded since 2014? Can we talk about how the Chios Coast Guard intentionally rammed a refugee boat in March, killing 15 people? Can we talk about anything other than a shitty 3-hour movie?
My mom wants me to share that from what she has heard, more than half a million Greeks actually starved to death — one of which was her great-grandfather.
Something, something, pearl…. Something, something Laurence huhhh 🥀
Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?
It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
Hey. Hey. Tumblr. Ides of March ppl. We can do this
Hell yeah moon holiday
Ooh coming up we should celebrate
PITCH: We call it Moon Day, and then every 7 years when it falls on a Monday, that's an even BIGGER deal and we call that Moon Day Monday and go absolutely apeshit about it (the next Moon Day Monday is in 2026 so we have a couple trial runs first)
MOON DAY MOON DAY MOON DAY
moon day is 20th July!!!
Scheduling this a day earlier to remind you all and myself about the Moon Day tomorow!
Happy moon day to all who celebrate
This is your reminder to prep for Moon Day on July 20th.
OH HEY, THATS TOMORROW
HAPPY MOON DAY MONDAY EVERYONE I'M GONNA GO WORK ON SOME ROCKET FUEL TO CELEBRATE (that's. My job. Every Monday and every other week day. I am a professional do not try this at home. But it's the thought that counts).
Happy Moon Day!
In the Temple. Straight up stroking it. And by “it”, haha, well, let’s just say. My lightsaber.

John unironically says “y’all” and “bless your heart.” Yelenas the only one who takes it as a compliment
Bob has exactly one pair of cowboy boots and they’re the light of his life. He wears them when he wants to be fancy
John and Bob get into arguments abt if Florida counts as the South. Geographically it is but it’s got a very different culture
Alexei can answer every single question about Ohio ever. He can list the terms of minor politicians from the 80s to the present and the official names of minuscule dirt backroads in the middle of nowhere. He knows the state bird and flower and— and all of it
To contrast this, the team once asked him what state a picture was of (it was California) and he said Tatooine
Ava talks in her sleep. John likes to talk back like they’re having a coherent conversation
John goes all out for the Super Bowl. The others humor him bc it’s fun enough
Bucky introduces the team to Hydra-licious. It’s a line of hair care products that Hydra used on him while he was brainwashed (bc even villains have to look good). He claims it was the only good thing to come out of Hydra. And as much as the group hates to admit it, it’s the reason why their hair is so fabulous
Ava is a serial leftovers stealer. This causes constant fights
Bob likes nerds (the candy)

[id. A twitter post by @/Bennieeexyz Jury duty letter came addressed to my cat. Not a mistake. "Felix Martinez" - that's his full name according to his vet records. My last name. His first name. Somehow he's a registered voter now. Called the county clerk. Me: My cat got summoned for jury duty. Clerk: Is the name correct on the summons? Me: Yes, but he's a cat. Clerk: Is Felix Martinez a legal resident of this county? Me: He's a legal cat. Clerk: Sir, if the name matches our records, he needs to appear or file an exemption. Me: He can't file anything. He has paws. Clerk: You can file on his behalf. Me: Under what exemption? There's no box for "is a cat." Clerk: (pause) Check "unable to serve due to medical reasons." Me: What's the medical reason? Clerk: He's a cat. Me: That's not a medical condition. Clerk: It is if it prevents him from serving. Sent in the form. Got rejected two weeks later. "Insufficient documentation. Please provide medical professional's statement." Took the letter to my vet. Me: I need you to write that my cat can't do jury duty. Vet: Why is your cat summoned for jury duty? Me: Excellent question. No good answer. Vet: This is the weirdest request I've gotten. Me: Can you just write that he's medically unfit to serve? Vet: On what grounds? Me: He's a cat. Vet: (started typing) "Patient is unable to serve due to species-related limitations including inability to speak, read, or comprehend legal proceedings." Me: Perfect. Sent it in. Got another rejection. "Summons is mandatory. Failure to appear will result in contempt of court." My roommate thought this was hilarious. Roommate: Felix is going to jail. Me: This is serious. Roommate: Bring him to court. See what happens. Decided that was actually the only option left. Day of jury duty, put Felix in his carrier. Brought the entire paper trail of rejection letters. Checked in at the courthouse. Clerk: Name? Me: Felix Martinez. Clerk: (looked at the cat carrier) Is that Felix? Me: Yes. Clerk: (long stare) He's a cat. Me: I've been saying that for six weeks. Clerk: Why didn't you file an exemption? Me: I filed three. All rejected. Showed her the letters. She read through them, expression shifting from confusion to disbelief. Clerk: Someone rejected the veterinary documentation? Me: Twice. Clerk: (called her supervisor over) You need to see this. Supervisor read everything. Looked at Felix. Looked at me. Supervisor: How did a cat get registered to vote? Me: You tell me. Supervisor: This is a data error. Me: Took you six weeks to figure that out. They dismissed Felix immediately. Apologized for the inconvenience. Supervisor: We'll remove him from the voter registry. Me: Appreciate it. Supervisor: (pause) Out of curiosity, how would he have voted? Me: Probably whatever party supports universal treats. Got a formal apology letter a week later and a voter registration card. For me this time. Apparently I wasn't registered, but my cat was. Roommate: Felix committed voter fraud. Me: Felix committed nothing. He's innocent. Roommate: That's what they all say. Felix is sleeping on the jury summons now. Fitting end to his legal career. end id]
I've seen this idea around infrequently so I know it's not just my own headcanon that Count Dooku is autistic. This is a man who became the undisputed master of an obsolete and obscure form of lightsaber combat, presumably on a whim, and that sounds a fair bit like a special interest to me.
Biggest thing that sells it for me is how the Count sleeps: no blankets, fully clothed from head to toe, insanely high pillow elevation.
Man's got his sensory needs.
I've not read Dooku: Jedi Lost but I've heard a bit about how there's even more Dooku autism evidence there too.
(Granted the above image was almost certainly because of 3D cartoon budgets in the 2010s not allowing for good blanket physics because lots of other characters in this show have similarly eccentric sleeping habits)
This satire article resonated with me so much

I just watched Hail Mary for the first time (great movie btw) but the movie kept closing every like five minutes, so it honestly felt like watching a tv show on YouTube shorts

"going out to get milk" is a common turn of phrase used to describe a man abandoning his family.
the "milkman" is a common figure in stories depicting a woman's infidelity and adulterous affair.
this implies that the ability to provide milk would both decrease the likelihood of a man abandoning his wife and children, as it would eliminate the need for leaving to get milk AND would secure that man's marriage, as his wife would have no need to seek milk from an extraneous source.
therefore, all men should produce milk, through various means such as:
- being a cow
- being an almond
- being a woman
- being a coconut
- being in the omegaverse
- being an oat
(list is exemplary and not finite)
in this essay, i will redefine the nuclear family and explain the seductive and inflammatory nature of the 1993 "Got Milk?" commercials.
you shut your mouth.
