Add Custom Family WIP and Question
This mod is almost ready to release. The main thing preventing me from releasing it was that I couldn't figure out how to get the relpanel interactions to work, but with the help of plumlace, I was able to get it working.
I'll add another pie menu so that add and remove are separate. Right now there are three new relationship bits:
Considered Family. This one is by far what I get the most use out of. Consider this scenario: in my legacies, I always have gen 3 (sisters) onward always raise their kids under the same household. Then, they marry, and their spouses are able to romance each other and are smitten with each other attraction-wise. Add Considered Family, and boom, problem solved.
Distant Cousin: This was why I made this, because eventually my heirs can romance each other. After five gens since the last sibling relationship, Distant Relative is no longer tracked. But they know they're related, so I added this that way once Distant Relative runs out, romance can still be blocked and dynasties can still add these Sims.
Distant Relative: This one just adds the Maxis bit. It'll be removed if they aren't actually distant relatives.
So my question to you is this, before I finish wrapping it up and getting it ready for release:
Are there any other family relationships that aren't tracked by the game that you think would be useful that isn't covered by Considered Family? For example, Distant Relative-in-Law stops tracking way before Distant Relative does (and unlike that bit, cannot be manually added), but Considered Family can cover that.
