Recipient of numerous awards, Gabe's work has screened at Slamdance and Tribeca, as well as broadcasted on networks such as HBO, Showtime and PBS. 23 Days until LAZY EYE is everywhere! Today's topic? Most expensive prop — the mouse. Frances Hernandez, our intrepid production designer, sought out the assistance of Bischoff's Taxidermy & Animal FX who helped create the little critter that is the bane of Dean's (Lucas Near-Verbrugghe) existence. No animals were harmed in the making of this film, but by the end of the shoot, this fake mouse was retired permanently.
