“A bunch of us are going to head to the beach. Would you like to come?”
“The beach? We’re allowed to go down to the beach?” Thor thought about it. The beach did seem like a better place to be than the library. “Sure. I’ll go to the beach.”
“You can almost do anything here, we are in college right?” Alice joked, sporting a grin when he agreed to the beach idea. “Perfect, it’s not too cold yet so we can still enjoy it.”
“I know but they’re throwing water balloon’s out there and I didn’t want to get wet.”
“Water balloons!?” Aquata exclaimed, jumping up from her bed. “Where? How come? Is it still going on!?”
“Outside, down at the courtyard. They might still be doing it, but we gotta hurry!”

“You’re very welcome. It’s a pleasure to meet you Bo. My name is Alice, Alice Liddell.”
“Alice? Oh yeah. Alice definitely suits you! It’s a pleasure to meet you as well, Alice.”
“That’s what everyone says, how does one look like their name though?”

“Everyone tells me riddles, the rabbit, the hatter, the hare. Some can be easy but I know one that’s really hard.”
“The rabbit, the hatter and the hare?? Oh my that sure is a lot of people.” Theo knew it wasn’t really a lot of people, but he wasn’t paying enough attention to really count the odd names she had listed. “What’s the really hard one?? Maybe I’ll know that too!!”
“There’s plenty more where that came from. There’s Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum, the Queen of Hearts and well so many people!” She couldn’t help herself with the riddle. “I don’t know if I said this one but, why is a raven like a writing desk?”
“Yes? Is there something I can help you with? I was just heading out.”
“A bunch of us are going to head to the beach. Would you like to come?”
“You know, you should really knock before just coming into someone’s dorm room.”
“I know but they’re throwing water balloon’s out there and I didn’t want to get wet.”

“You’re sweet! I am glad that I was able to get away from the crazy queen and come to this college. I wouldn’t have met you either and I’d be so sad.”
“Oh, thank you.” he blushed bashfully. “By the way, my name’s Bo– did I say that already? Bo Bing. What’s your name? I’m sure it’s amazing.”
“You’re very welcome. It’s a pleasure to meet you Bo. My name is Alice, Alice Liddell.”

“Yes and no, I’ve been told some riddles since I was a child. They were so confusing so of course they would be stuck in my mind!”
“Who used to tell you them?? I like riddles. They’re really easy to solve most of the time.”
“Everyone tells me riddles, the rabbit, the hatter, the hare. Some can be easy but I know one that’s really hard.”

“I have never met anyone that could answer a riddle so perfectly before. It was a riddle that was on my mind for a while now.”
“Oh thank you!! It’s just one of my many talents, I suppose.” he grinned, clearly happy with himself. “What for?? Do you just think of riddles all the time??”
“Yes and no, I’ve been told some riddles since I was a child. They were so confusing so of course they would be stuck in my mind!”
“Those things do seem pretty spooky, could you imagine being at the beach and it quickly comes up to the shore or if you’re deep in the water?”
“Yeah, let’s not imagine that.” Roger said. His body over expressively had chills running through him as he shook off the thought. “Just thinking about it makes me never want to step on a beach again.”
Alice giggled, rubbing her own arms to get rid of her chills from their conversation. “I know and I just love the beach, collecting shells is the best part.”

“No worse! I had to stand trial but I was able to get away at the end, head intact and all.”
“That doesn’t sound real! How unfair!!” he huffed. “You’re lucky you got away! It would have been a real shame if you hadn’t, because then I would never have met you or heard your story.”
“You’re sweet! I am glad that I was able to get away from the crazy queen and come to this college. I wouldn’t have met you either and I’d be so sad.”
“I’ve known that riddle since I was a child, a mad hatter taught it to me.”
“Um, alright. Have you ever solved it?”
“No, I never solved it yet, I don’t know if I ever will.”
“That one is very creepy, but I also know that if I ever saw one of those fish with three eyes, I’d give up going in the water entirely.”
“All I can say is I am very glad that we don’t still have those prehistoric sharks. I think those could ruin a perfectly good day at the beach really fast.”
“Those things do seem pretty spooky, could you imagine being at the beach and it quickly comes up to the shore or if you’re deep in the water?”
“No one ever seems to have an answer to that, I guess that’s one riddle I’ll never solve.”
“Where did you hear that riddle?”
“I’ve known that riddle since I was a child, a mad hatter taught it to me.”

“I did and she was very mad! I didn’t steal her tarts, she wanted to cut my head off because I couldn’t tell what playing cards were laying on the ground because I couldn’t guess from the back.”
“She sounds awful! Did you try to guess what cards were what or did you have to run away?”
“No worse! I had to stand trial but I was able to get away at the end, head intact and all.”

“I almost got my head chopped off once, by a mad queen! Whatever you do, just don’t cross her or steal her tarts.”
“You met a mad queen? I didn’t even know mad queens existed! —So is that why she almost chopped your head off? Because you stole her tarts?”
“I did and she was very mad! I didn’t steal her tarts, she wanted to cut my head off because I couldn’t tell what playing cards were laying on the ground because I couldn’t guess from the back.”
“People do cry a lot when their heart is broken, but that is to be expected isn’t it. Giving one’s heart so freely to others is bound to get it broken, so hearts need to be locked up.”
“I don’t know. Love is super weird. I’ve never met a girl that would make me cry. Maybe one day I’ll fall in love and know what that’s like but not right now.”
“Love is super weird, it makes you do weird things and act funny because of love. Would almost be afraid to fall in love then.”
