Biography.
Nam Jaemin, born and raised by his parents and older sister. He was raised as the baby and it can still be seen in how playful and expressive he is with those he is close with.
While he had good grades at school, always part of the top list of students, known for his athletics (Basketball, football, traditional wrestling, taekwondo) and artistic sides, anything the school or after school activities offered he took and he was good. He went into competitions and took trophies home. Basically the golden boy of his town, the whole package, good kid with good personality and good grades.
His childhood dream was never to become famous, he wanted to be a vet and have a shelter to help people find their special companion yet he couldn’t fill his dream.
He was a teen when he was scouted in a school play, ‘ Chunhyang and Lee Mong-Ryong’ playing the male lead and getting the attention of an acting company and due to his parents' persuasion he agreed.
His first role came soon (though some believed it was due to his good looks) a historical drama that opened him the doors of the acting world, and after some years of hard work he had an established career yet everything changed during 2023, when his last work before enlisting aired and it was a success. His breakthrough role.
But fame comes with a price, even if he is all smiles on the inside he second guesses his life choices, what if I hadn’t picked up that card? What if I had stayed in seomri? Those types of questions roam in his mind more than he wants to admit, especially with how much of a private person he is and the media test his limits more often than not by trying to see that private life of his making him ask himself if its really worth it.
Plot ideas.
Friends / Best friends.- The best friends Jaemin could ever ask for, they met and since then they can hardly be apart, their friendship is known by everyone in the industry and even the netizens know about the dynamic duo. (could be someone in the industry or not)
Dad mode on - He is a softie deep inside and they had made their home in his heart, he finds them cute and have put on him the dad mode on. He is protective of them and you can see how truthful it is when his chest swells with pride when they come into the conversation, his fatherly smile full on display.
I hope not. - A past relationship that didn’t end with the expected happily ever after, things got on the way and soon they were saying goodbyes with a bitter taste on his mouth. He loved her, he really did with all his heart, she was his first love and he is thankful for what they had. He can only hope she still thinks kindly of him whenever he crosses her mind.
One-sided love.- He is a softie even if his looks make him seem like the total opposite and they know it and has experienced his tender heart first hand and that’s exactly the problem, they had seen the real him, the softie with hopes and dreams and not only the great actor he is, the first love of many. They had gotten his flowers and they had felt his head on their shoulder as if that was it’s rightful place, hopefully one day he will realise it, right? To bad he is busy looking another way…
Love wins all: the person he is interested in the reason he is entertaing the idea of leaving the spotlight for a calmer life more and more. He had always been a hopeless romantic, dreaming of finding the love of his life and settling down, having a family...perhaps he found her. Sm:)e - Acting is not the only thing that Jaemin is interested in. He fell in love with photography and even has a full album from photos he took during his travels, of everything he saw and found beautiful and that's where your muse enters, they share the love for the same hobbie and they go to nice trips outside of the city to get the most beautiful views in the world, they keep each other company while visiting galleries and enjoy being by the side of each other.
Lion cub - Your muse is someone special to Jaemin, they came to him with the idea of learning to act or perhaps they met during one of his time back home while you were just getting a name in the industry, still he saw your passion for it and soon the two found each other exchanging numbers and tips, slowly the little lion cub that wanted to follow his steps became a friend.
