Long time no type.

I got an email a few weeks ago about Tumblr and how I haven’t been back in a while. The last time I posted was in 2020 and it is now 2022 like what. I felt like taking a look at what I’ve posted and delved into my archives only to freak out at the fact that I’ve had this blog since October of 2009?!?!?! WHAT. Time is freaking me out left and right. I kinda miss how this used to be the main place to be, ya know. Just sharing photos, memes, news, fangirling moments. I type fangirling and it autocorrected to fingerling. LOL. Anyway. Yeah. I’m glad I have this to look back / post on.

Whenever I am with someone, I look at them and see everything I am not. I see their beauty, their grace, their passion, the way they smile, the way they move, their story, their love. And although I have been working on my self love very hard, it still happens. I see others and feel down and blue, because they are everything I wish I was. And if you can relate, then this post is for you. You are doing such a good job, my love. I know how hard it is to struggle with accepting and loving yourself for who you are. Comparison kills. And sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we just cannot shake it. But what I want you to know: To someone else you are exactly that person - that beautiful, radiant, amazing person that they are not. You are good enough. You do not have to change in order to be worthy. You are worthy now. As you are. It is absolutely hard, I know, darling. Although it seems like a long journey, you will heal. I promise.

it’s so difficult not being able to use milennial humor in a corporate setting. like i made a mistake today and i wanted to tell my supervisor it’s because i suffer from Dumb Bitch Disease, but do you think that would fly?? fuck no. i gotta say shit like, “sorry for the misunderstanding!” i can’t wait till the workforce is made up entirely of millennials and i can say “sorry i drank idiot juice for breakfast this morning” and my coworkers will be like “oh worm.”
