Michael and Star don't stay together in a romantic sense once what we see is of the story is over, in my opinion. But I do see them as staying incredibly good friends, and becoming almost more like brother and sister than anything. I think they got together too much under strained circumstances; Star was supposed to kill him but couldn't, and they both latched on to each other because they were lonely and felt opressed under David. So I don't think they kept dating or got married at all, but I do think they stayed incredibly incredibly close.
