Don't you just hate it when...?
... you already are offering yourself to solve a problem and people start wringing your neck and yelling at your ears to "WTF DO I DO?". Guys; chill. I got this.
Basically, the thing I loathe the most about work is when people are yelling at your ears about something that you pretty much have little to nil knowledge about.
Like for example, a group needs to do a certain Diorama project for school and they are required to do a certain sketch. Person A volunteers to do the sketch.
Of course, said person does the sketch and informs the group leader that she passed the said sketch for the sake of just being able to pass and so they will just refine whatever they need to get done. Things were clear. An unspoken contract was made.
All that had to be done was basically set to be after a certain date due to difficulties with time and finances.
Then everything goes for the worst from here on.
Miscommunication between professor and students happens and the leader ends up with nil as the final day approaches. Person A suggests to do a painting so that the group can save face at the very least. Leader agrees.
Person B approaches A and asks "What do they do?" and A says they'll be doing a painting as replacement because they lack the finances and/or the time to do a diorama.
Eventually it ended up as a fight because B felt that A was accusing her of shoving everything onto her shoulders; which was not the case. A just wanted to let B know that 1) she got this; 2) We lack the finances to do a proper diorama (considering that they now have at least 24 hours to get it all done) and 3) B should not be talking to A about what to do; Even A had no idea about what they were going to do and now it's all a matter of her taking the blame.
Just because she did the sketch.
"You did the sketch, So you know what to do!"
Was A wrong for being frustrated about being bugged about it especially when she has so much on her shoulders academically; especially since she was also being told to do so many things the next day?
Sometimes I don't want to even try anymore.
Maybe someday I will learn to become a more patient and lesser "toxic" person, but people have to understand that they shouldn't run to me once shit happens -- at least all the time.
I'm only human after all.
