The part where Disney annoyingly made less stock for Rey toys is true, yes, and naturally there has been a huge demand for more merchandise featuring her now because there isn’t enough to go around (this was probably by design imo because now with the Phase 2 wave of new toys featuring her they can mark up the price >.>). But the part where Kylo toys don’t sell is fake af. Star Wars merchandise sales from August 2015 to December 2015, headlined by BB8 and Kylo Ren toys, generated a cool $2 billion, possibly more. Those are staggeringly huge numbers for toy sales. All due respect to Mr. Marcotte and his anonymous “Disney sources” but this is nonsense.
