anyway this is reki's shot equivalent to langa's where he was surrounded by snow but instead it looks like embers and fire and light because reki is the sun while langa is the snow and in this essay i will-

adding to my earlier theory of why i think reki maybe the one to drift from langa because of adam and not the other way around, the last two episodes have shown just how attentive langa is with reki. he waited for him outside of the hospital room, drives him home, helps him carry his bags and open things that he can't, makes sure he doesn't over exert himself, stops him from possibly injuring himself further, and even went back for reki in the middle of a beef. which as we've seen up until now, when langa is in a beef, he gets focused on the beef, and doesn't really think of anything else. he's in it to have fun and win. so for him to notice that reki isnt also skating, and to go back for him says a lot about how attentive langa is to reki. he doesn't even return to the beef as he probably normally would. he stays behind to walk with reki. and when they're being chased by what they assume are monsters, he makes sure to stop him from falling and stays with him the entire time. and if reki is gone from a place for too long, he takes notice of his absence pretty quickly and will typically go look for him.

it didn't feel right to me before seeing people saying langa would leave reki behind, because as we've seen that langa is very attentive and worried about reki. it could be because reki is his first friend, and that he just plain loves him.

langa may get caught up in the thrill of skating, but i don't think to the point that he would leave reki behind. he's always aware of reki, and doesn't actually like leaving him behind.

Sooo recently I had one of the randomest blasts from the past and was inspired to finally watch through and finish the entirety of Kyou Kara Maoh which I had seen like 2 - 5 episodes of what must be 10/11 years ago with bad fansubs on YouTube... Oh God, those were the days😂 This was basically baby's first Isekai before I even knew what an Isekai was and before the market was completely oversaturated with an army of trashy isekai clones every season cough cough.
