I have absolutely no idea who you are! Although there's this feeling I have that we've have talked before... (actually, now I am suspicious...)

Oookay, I think if we were to translate Riven to this non-magical, contemporary world society, he'd be one of those persons studying law or business or shit like that only because that's what their parents arranged (and escaping from it by partying and getting high). But after ✨ character development ✨ he'd either change careers or redirect the first one to make his own thing. So he'd end up with a job more meaningful where he's not depressed 24/7, you know.

I don't really know exactly which job I imagine him with but I can tell you @skloomdumpster had Riv use his family's influence and his partying persona to be a manager for a green energy nonprofit in her 'Nobody Knows' fic, and I thought that was really smart even though I had never thought of him in that position.

About my loves Rivusa I love that they both tell it like it is and both of them can be cynical assholes. And I find it mesmerising to have them face to face with those clashing personalities because they both hide the most sensitive interior, and that combination makes them understand each other on a level know one else is able to. There's also the fact that Musa is a mind fairy and Riven is walking black box of emotions. Musa having to face that he's never going to be silent and Riven having to face that she's never going to stop having access to his feelings is extremely interesting to explore for me. There's just a lot of layers in their interactions and I love that.

About my boys Skyriv first and foremost they're each other's person. And it doesn't matter whatever else is happening in their lives, at the end of the day they come back to the same person. They're each other constant and I love that they're reluctant best friends but also there's no question they are best friends. They both are a lifeline the other is holding with bloody hands amidst the burden of Alfea. I love that both of them know, deep down, they'll always be there even if they fight like hell and yell at each other and can't understand the other's decisions. It's co-dependent, it's borderline unhealthy and it's beautiful. And I love that neither of them knows how much the other loves him. There's so much love but so much underlying conflict —Riv's head being filled with how Sky must think he's a lost cause and never good enough to be at his level—, it's delightful.

Alternative Universe or Canon?

I love canon and I can tell you that, most of the time, the thing I enjoy the most is a canon divergence setting (kinda an AU in itself). But there's also so many good Alternative Universe settings out there, I just really like to keep the magic of the canon world in them.

Past, Present or Future?

All of them! I like to explore the characters at every moment of their whole journey. But it's true that, for example, I'm not made for the kind of future in which they have kids and such.

Slowburn or Like a House on Fire?

Slooooowburn for sure, even if there's some stories that need that explosive fire and use it really well!

Never thought you abandoned me, don't worry! But so glad Tumblr let me hear from you this time!

Riven is definitely the big favourite, can't lie. I think I enjoy all of his canon dynamics with other people and with himself but my favs are absolutely his dynamic with Sky, with Silva, with Musa and with Terra. I also enjoy his dynamic with Stella a lot and with Beatrix, there's really interesting stuff there.

Okay, in that cage fight? The one getting knocked out is me. I can't choose between my bbs. Really, I can't, I love both of them so much. If only one can win here, better to just throw a coin and let Fate decide.

And, lastly, for me angst is any story in which the characters suffer or have a bad time, either emotionally or physically (I love whump, too!), a having the spotlight in how that makes them feel or do certain things, consequences maybe. Or how they're comforted, if we're going for hurt/comfort, too. Most of the time I prefer a happy ending but there's some stories that really need that sad ending and I can enjoy that, too.
