hello! You are very trustable when it comes to good media, I think. You got me into sparkbird's stephan nance songs (and reverse nature shock has taken over my life recently) along with convincing me to read project hail mary. Do you have any current favorite books to read?

For book recommendations, I may not be quiteee as trustworthy (most of the reading I’ve been doing has been comfort re-reading with audiobooks, which means like. Rn im relistening to wings of fire for the fiftieth time.) but I really love the They Both Die at the End series by Adam Silvera! They’re about as depressing as the title suggests but GOD they’re good, and WILDLY underrated. Also, all the books feature queer leads! The first book is the best, the second is very good still, and the third has a minor drop in quality but is still good (and leaves off on a cliffhanger that hasn’t been resolved yet)
Also, most people have read the first Hitchhikers Guide book (and if you haven’t obviously go do that it will change your life) but a lot of people don’t realize there’s more! I don’t remember when the quality drop comes but at least up to the third one they keep being absolutely INCREDIBLE.
I’m currently reading Watership Down and enjoying it, also. Verity Vox and the Curse of Foxfire is another good YA one, by Don Martin- fun fact, I met him & got his signature before I read his book! Because he was at an event with Adam Silvera so I met both. Also features a queer lead. If you like poetry books, Andrea Gibson is genuinely the best poet I have ever heard. Oh if you like they both die at the end, history is all you left me is another sad gay book by Adam Silvera!
I think that’s it. Most/all of these are YA because I do a lot of comfort reading & I have a hard time reading new stuff way outside my comfort zone. Thank you for asking!!!
