Sense8 season 2.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
“I know you better than anyone.”
Oh, I’m getting so sentimental with the news of Jess and Rory possibly *finally* getting that happy ending (please, please, Amy Sherman-Palladino)!
Still dont want Rory to end up with anyone, but truth would like to see a bit more of them
If it’s destroying you, then it isn’t love, my dear.
I wish someone had told me this sooner - Jess Amelia (via wanderlust-er)
Photo was an inspiration. I think i did okay. And my eyes are fucking green. Not blue. Green. Also this ‘its not just dudes’ revelation keeps dawning on me and i love it how it still surprises me and how i catch myself staring into a girl across the hall. No, its not that bad. But like, tonight I really noticed two girls. And probably frightened Meta a lot with my stalking skill accidental slip. But how could I not tell her how grateful i am that thanks to her we've got three more Jane Austen’s novels translated to Slovenian (i had to wait years and years before my english was good enough to attempt to read those). She’s just...i have this feeling about her that she is a really wonderful person. I dont want anything from her or about her, just getting to see her and knowing that she exist is cool.
#honestly i dont care if its fake
It’s not. It happens every day all around the world.
It is an act of bravery to feel your feelings.
Gayle Forman, I Was Here (via wordsnquotes)
Priest : Do you read to your children from the holy book?
Me : yes
Priest : What is their favourite part?
Me : when frodo destroys the ring.

I did not ever see a bisexual character in a book when I was a teen. Ever. I didn’t know a single bisexual or lesbian or gay or transgender or queer person as a teen. At all. That’s at best just sad, and at worst soul-crushingly lonely. I was convinced that I was broken or defective or strange for years. I was a voracious reader and I firmly believe that if I had encountered bisexual characters in teen literature when I was a teen it would have made my coming out easier. So yes, media representation in books is vital. It has tangible benefits to marginalized people. It has tangible benefits to LGBQ people in particular and anyone who thinks that it isn’t important has never had to search and scrabble and turn over rocks in a desperate attempt to find someone like them.

whats the difference between bi people and unicorns
i can see unicorns on movies and tv
I told this to my mum and she was like “That’s not t… yes it is.”
Also, unicorns on tv are called unicorns, not ‘horses that don’t like labels’

I don’t think it ever occurred to me before how much and how often women are praised for displaying traits that basically render them invisible. When I really think about it, I realize the culprit is the language generally used to praise women. Especially mothers. “She sacrificed everything for her children… She never thought about herself… She gave up everything for us… She worked tirelessly to make sure we had what we needed. She stood in the shadows, she was the wind beneath our wings.” Greeting card companies are build on that idea. “Tell her how much all the little things she does all year long that seem to go unnoticed really mean to you.” With a $2.59 card. Mother’s Day is build on that idea. This is good, we’re told. It’s good how Mom diminishes and martyrs herself. The message is: mothers, you are such wonderful and good people because you make yourselves smaller, because you deny your own needs, because you toil tirelessly in the shadows and no one ever thanks or notices you… this all makes you AMAZING.
Year of Yes, Shonda Rhimes
Can we talk about how Shonda is just fearlessly laying down the truth and not censoring the awful truth? And before anyone stupid jumps in, Shonda is not saying Motherhood shouldn’t be praised, she’s saying we shouldn’t be praising women for erasing themselves.
