It's getting easier every day. The only thing that's annoying is I always have to wear foundation or else you see red spots everywhere. I'm hoping those will fade completely. I don't have too many deep scars but I do a have a few. They don't bother me as much as they should though! I think I'm just relieved all the cysts are gone and since everything has cleared up I haven't gotten a lot of new pimples. If I have gotten them they are small and go away within a day or two! For everyone struggling right now, it's going to get so much better and you're not even going to think about your acne in a few years! As for the side effects, I'm almost finished month 3 and just dealing with the dryness and my back aches a bit. I was worried in the beginning because I was feeling really down and depressed but now I honestly just think that's a side effect of having acne and not the medication. I feel great now. Can't wait for everyone on this journey to feel the same! If you have any questions or just wanna talk please send me a message! Stay real, kids!

I failed my driving test for the second time today and I don't know, I was really sad at first and then I got really mad and now I'm kind of laughing. This has nothing to do with my acne but I thought it was kind of funny. I'm never gonna get my licence lol

Well this is what I'm working with right now. It looks really bad but honestly I'm just glad there aren't any bumps and when I wash my face I can actually feel my face and my skin. I'm pretty happy right now haven't been feeling depressed lately which is great! Hopefully these marks will fade fast!

Wowowowww I feel so much better about my skin lately it's amazing. I HIGHLY recommend taking the antibiotic with the accutane. Without it I feel like I would still be in my initial breakout stage and those pills sped up the process so much quicker! I feel like I can actually go to the beach just wearing a bb cream because I do still have a lot of redness but omg I don't even care because the bumpiness is so minimal. This is a picture with makeup but I'll post one without makeup later on!

because right now the only thing I'm loving about this is the fact that my face isn't shiny and my hair doesn't get oily as quickly!

the scars will fade but you should try to keep your face as clean as possible and hydrated. after the treatment is over the doc will probably prescribe a cleanser and some sort of blue water thingy for the scars that you apply after the cleanser, its also supposed to help with evening out pigmentation that could remain. about a month after the treatment is over most shallow scars will fade, but some can be stubborn and need more time.

a week into the second month: looks the same. Less bumps. A LOT of hyper pigmentation. Anyone who's finished or almost finished accutane can you tell me if these are going to scar or does it go away??

I feel so guilty for being sad all the time because I am actually so blessed. I'm healthy and I have a great life and family but I just keep feeling sad and helpless. I really really hate this and I hope it all gets better soon
