My first blog post
I have no idea how to use Tumblr. But I really wanted to start a blog and this is the only platform I’m remotely familiar with. I created my first Tumblr account years ago, when I was just a young teenager. I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to customize my theme. To this day I only understand computers to the most basic level required of modern youth. Hell, I don’t even know how to use Snapchat. So I apologize if my blog is very shabby and you are turned off. I felt the need to start a blog as an outlet for my troubles. I’ve always been withdrawn and reclusive, so much of what I vent about I’m not comfortable sharing with those I know in real life. I suppose I don’t have anyone in my life that I could fully confide in like that anyways. It may seem counterintuitive then, to be broadcasting it on a platform like this, to even less trustworthy strangers. However, there is a shield of anonymity that offers some protection and security absent in real life interactions. I’m looking forward to writing blog posts. I’m going through a difficult period in my life and my hope is kickstarting a writing habit I was quite passionate about in childhood will help me overcome the obstacles I face.
