Hi! Thank you for asking me this, tbh I didn’t want to post my opinion at first, but I got the same question a hundred times today, so here I go.

Honestly, Im not disappointed, yet Im not satisfied. But not only because of the ships. Don’t get me wrong, I love nalu with all my heart, don’t doubt that, but Im not mad over the fact that we didn’t get an actual “confession scene” or Natsu confessing, I think it would be VERY out of character. I find it beautiful how he said to lucy “from now on, we will be together forever” or smth like that, Im not completely sure. Not gonna lie, I wanted a kiss, but I don’t hate this. Loved gruvia and gajevy tho, the development gruvia got is amazing. I really don’t care if there was no nalu kiss, nalu is canon for me although there was no actual confession because there are enough moments to prove it. LOVED zervis, almost cried ngl.

Now lets talk about what disappointed me. Im sorry, I love fairy tail and Mashima with all my heart, but it was rushed. What about Aquarius key? Where is Brandish? Did she and Lucy kept in touch? Is Lucy REALLY not going to confront Natsu and tell him how much it hurt her when he left like that? END? Thats really all we are going to see about him? An “almost transformation”? Natsu just wanted to go on a job? That was so special and had to be kept as a confidential secret for so long? well… this is just my opinion though. I was expecting more, but I knew I wasn’t going to get it. Im not 100% disappointed by these things.. I feel sad over the fact that we got such a rushed ending. Not terrible, but It could have been better. 

Despite this, I love fairy tail with all my heart, each and every single character has a special place in my heart. I have so many good memories this past 4 years reading the series, I got so attached to Natsu and Lucy… I started crying today. This turned out longer than I expected, but this is just my opinion. I have a huge respect to Mashima, Im gonna miss this series so much :((
