“It isn’t my information to tell.” Elodie reached for her glass and swirled the liquid, “But, she hurt him. And I cannot forgive that.” Pressing the rim to her lower lip, she sipped at the wine and savored the taste for a moment. It was high quality, and well aged. It showed, in the flavor and her satisfied smile that was soon removed. “I wouldn’t recommend meeting her. But if you find yourself in her presence, be careful. She’s awfully pretty, but she’s..poison, I suppose.”
The defensive tome in Leda’s voice wasn’t lost upon the daughter of Apollo, and as she leaned back Elodie quietly mulled it over. Would she be protective over this woman if she was harmed or threatened? It seemed likely. She was the closest thing she held to a friend, and a level of trust was established already, she liked to think. “But she’s the root to most of my anger, that and the increasing level of boredom I have in this town–Ah. Yes, I did visit that club. It was…okay. I suppose. Though I simply took a few drinks and left. It wasn’t all too fun, and the social aspect simply drained me.”
“Well I’m sure whatever it was, it was bad enough to get you thinking this way.” The woman admired Elodie keeping her brother’s business from her, she trusted her judgement enough to not need an explanation. She took another sip of wine, she could tell it was good. It made her miss the finer things she indulged in back home. Reaching over to take a chocolate, Leda nodded in agreement with Elodie’s remark. “Pretty yet poisonous, sort of like Oleanders. Makes sense, isn’t she a daughter of Persephone? Either way, I like to think I’m a good judge of character,” she smirked.
Leda recalled recommending the club back when the two had first met, and she regretted that now. “I’m sorry, I should’ve asked you what you like to do before assuming you’d like the club here. I sort of project my favourite things onto other people sometimes,” she admitted with a laugh. “So, what is it you like to do most?”
