So, I donât know if anyone is going to read this but I feel the need to write it anyway.
I started watching Granada Holmes on May 31st, which is terrible, because I wonât be able to celebrate it every month (lol Iâll do it anyway).
I had heard of Jeremy before, but I didnât know much about him, blogs talked about him as of âthe best Sherlock Holmesâ and, in truth, I was a bit skeptical at first.
When I finally saw him, a whole world opened up in front of me. I was dazzled.
I couldnât stop smiling while looking at him.
He was the Holmes I had imagined while reading the books, he was perfect.
I watched the whole series in a month, trying to savor each and every episode because I didnât know what I would have done as soon as it was over.
I laughed and cried and felt oh so alive, it was beautiful.
Then the series ended, and all I wanted to do was to watch it again.
I started reading stuff about Jeremy and watching his interviews, I couldnât wrap my mind around how I could be that late, why hadnât I found him earlier?
I spent all summer thinking about him, talking about him, drawing him and, recently, watching his films.
Now Iâm here, almost four months later, and Iâm a better person thanks to him, he inspired me with his strenght and enthusiasm and gentleness so I felt I should share my affection for him, and tell everyone how grateful I am that I came to know him, even if just now.
Sometimes I like to think he can see me, us, from wherever he is, and I imagine him smiling at all the love and admiration his fans express.
Iâm simply a new one, a young and inexperienced one, but Iâd love to be part of this beautiful community and I chose this particular day to say hi to you all.
Dear Jeremy, I thank you with my whole heart for all the good youâve brought to this flawed world, and for making my days brighter even 22 years after you passed away.
You will never ever be forgotten.
