Ye Jin smiled at him, "I don’t do anything like that…I occasionally sing but it’s not something I dedicate myself too…" It brings back too many bad memories. “It’s just something I do to keep my mind from wandering too much…” Though it brings back bad memories it also help keep worse ones away. She watched the boy with a kind smile as he seemed to get excited over the mere prospect of having a connection through music. "Of course you can!" He clapped his hands once, obviously excited, "You could sing with me and my mom if you wanted. We would pay you of course for joining us but he could really use some vocals. My mom can sing but she prefers to play the flute." He tapped his bottom lip lightly, "It would be cool to put words to our songs." He seemed to like the prospec of working together quite a lot.

"Ah, your mother." Ye Jin’s smile dimmed slightly she watched the small interaction between him and his mother. She watched the woman turn and leave before looking at Tae Min once more, "She looks so young, it must be nice to do things as simple as making music together with her." Thoughts of her own mother and father before the incident flooded her head but she pushed them all away, making sure to keep the smile on her face as the other kept talking.

Taemin felt something was off with Ye Jin, maybe she was feeling ill? But that didn't seem right, something seemed to be on her mind. Taemin smiled softly, wanting to make her feel a bit better not only because it was kind of what he was born to do, but she seemed like much to nice of a person to be sad. "Yes, she does look quite young for her age." Taemin chuckled a bit to himself, thinking about how old his mother really was. "It is very nice, it makes me happy." He looked over at Ye Jin, trying to understand her true feelings more by her actions but it was a bit difficult. Maybe she was used to hiding herself? That only made Taemin more sad.

"It is nice to meet you." He gently rubbed the back of his neck for a few moments, slightly shy, "Ahh, thank you. Me and my mom try hard with our performances, we do it together." He smiled fondly at all of the memories he has made from the family business. "Music is a wonderful thing, it can help ease suffering you know?" He sighed softly, his face getting a bit dark, "At least that is what it does for me."

Jung Min’s curiosity grew as his eyes watched over Taemin’s body. However, rather than growing linear, it had a habit of turning to the left and a bit to the right with an added jump sideways; he couldn’t stay thinking about the boy with one particular thing because then it might have bored him to do so and staying within the Dove’s company would have ended up to be boring. As he looked about the room, not afraid at all with whichever eyes that might have met with his own, he listened to Taemin speak out his order and it caused the Raven to suddenly chuckle.

He wasn't able to look away until Jung Min did and he felt like a weight was lifted from him and he was able to breath again. He quickly looked away, letting out a deep breath as his face tinted a soft pink color. He gently moved one hand up to touch his cheeks to indeed feel they were a bit hot. "Thank you." He spoke softly, not wanting to look at Jung Min mainly because he was worried he was going to become lost in his gaze again. He didn't understand how the man could affect him like that but he did it with such ease. Was this because he was a Raven? Was was this just how Jung Min was? Taemin didn't know...but for some reason, he wanted to.

Ye Jin frowned as she pulled the coat closer to her body after yet another shiver racked her frame. She looked up at the sky and took note of the sun that still hung on the blue canvas of sky. Her frown only deepened as she turned her eyes ahead once more. She looked around at the other people walking along the streets before turning her attention towards the trees. They were different hues of orange, red, and yellow; some even bordering strange combinations of all three colors. Autumn must be approaching…I’ll have to find someway to make money, the night will only be colder then the day.

Taemin has never really shown an interest in girls per say, but she was very pretty. He knows he has never seen her before and that made him even more curious because he knew most of the people in this small town. Well, he wasn't familiar with the rich crowd because he was always more partial to the poorer people. He frowned a bit when the girl turned away, he said a quick goodbye to his mom before running after her. He gently touched her arm and smiled softly, not touching her in any other way as to not offend her. (He learned when he was younger not a lot of people liked hugging as much as Taemin did.) "Hi, I'm sorry but I've never seen you around here before." He bowed a bit, his smile never diminishing, "My name is Taemin."

Jung Min’s eyes sparkled with a soft glint of electricity as he watched Taemin hurry to catch up to his longer strides. He hadn’t gone far but he was delighted internally to know that he wanted to come with him and he seemed eager to do it. Once the other had caught up, he turned and put one hand inside of his pocket while he walked, always looking in front of him with a cool face on. Even when Taemin began to talk with him, he didn’t look at the boy and nor did he respond until he had just reached the outside of the tavern. “Because I wouldn’t had bothered eating alone,” he said it almost boringly while opening the door and stepping in to find a place to sit.

As the people moved away from the table Taemin looked curiously at each one, wondering what kind of spell Jung Min placed on them to make them move so quietly. He sat down across from the other man, watching him with mild curiosity as he listened to everyone speak around them. "Just some bread and water." He didn't feel too comfortable eating much around this man. He wasn't at ease sitting this close to Jung Min but he felt like he had to know why a Raven of his stature would seek Taemin out, a Dove that is still merely a child.

"Alright." He spoke softly, however he was certain Jungmin heard him. He walked a bit faster to catch up with the man, his body feeling like he was on fire from being so close to him. It only excited Taemin however. He looked around, watching the people go about their daily lives while he spoke, "What makes you want to ask me to join you Jungmin?" He wondered if he was just as curious about Taemin as he was of him, it was possible. Taemin felt on edge, but it didn't bother him too much, and that alone was surprising.

Jung Min’s eyebrows furrowed, wondering why the Dove was being so compliant with him and answering his questions so easily. It was easy to tell when a human was lying; he had had enough experience around them to tell almost any emotion they were feeling even without being a Raven (but without that trait, he wouldn’t be as old as he was today). However, Dove interactions came rarely and each one was new, each had a different personality. This one, Jung Min thought, had a fiery personality about him which was unlike the others and unlike what he had first thought of.

"I have been dancing since I was young." So Jungmin couldn't tell how young he was? That was probably a good thing considering he could be killed easily if Jungmin was an older Raven, which he surely looked like one. However, the added danger only excited Taemin, caused him to become even more curious as to why Jungmin was there. "I taught myself, my mother says I have a gift for it." He smiled a bit, not being cocky in the least but more of happy with himself for being given such a gift in the first place.

Nothing about the boy seemed threatening, and even with the threat of some humans being pushed to the edge because of some Ravens interacting with them, there the Dove stood, with confidence, as he talked to a very old Raven. And then back there was where he danced, in front of many people that could have easily turned ugly if a few Ravens felt the need to mess up some beautiful music.

"I love to dance, I do it for myself more than for other people, we don't need the money. Think of it as more of a hobby rather than a job." This was all very true, Taemin was a horrible liar, even in the face of danger he probably couldn't lie to get himself out of it because he would just give himself away in the worst ways.

Jung Min’s head tilted of its own accord, listening to the boy with half attention while the rest of his attention went to that lithe body. His mind began to wonder what it would be like to have sex with, especially since it was a Dove. Sexual encounters between Ravens and Doves weren’t a taboo but it wasn’t spoken of… well, on the Dove side. Jung Min never had the chance to fuck a Dove but he wasn’t really interested in it before now. Then he realized how bored he must have been to walk around the streets of Odium alone and a soft chuckle fell from his lips.

He almost wanted to laugh at this exchange because something about it was just so funny to Taemin and he wasn't too sure why.

  Jung Min eyes tried to trace the boy’s movements, they tried to catch every limb that moved at every moment but it was too fast, too agile for a normal person to do. However, clearly watching his steps wasn’t something hard to do for a Raven however, and his smile only showed evidence on his face with how much he respected how well the boy moved.

He was curious as to why this man stopped to watch him perform and why he was out here in the first place. "Why do you come around these parts?" He looked at Jungmin's clothing which was quite obviously that of an aristocrat.

The streets were littered with people, as they usually were. Their faces weren’t smiling, their clothes were not necessarily kept well, and their overall body could have looked better. However, they matched perfectly with the setting beside them, as the cracks between the bricks composing the streets trapped filth and grime, catching what residue that rain could wash away. Most streets looked like this, and most people didn’t quite care because the unfortunate side of Odium had been this way for a while.

It took a lot of convincing on Taemin's mother's part to get the boy to go back outside and perform. Sure they had enough money to probably pass by in this generation but they still had to keep face, they had to act like they didn't have a lot money. The only thing that brought Taemin back was the dance, he could never truly be away from it for long. Dancing was like walking to Taemin, something that he just needed to do, it made him feel most like himself. He was easily able to block out the other humans who watched him and his mother, just like he was able to block out how they might be dead by dawn.

It was sudden and didn't last for long, a quick chill that didn't take long to sink into Taemin's body. It was a chill that he knew all too well, one that told him a Raven was near. Taemin slowly opened his eyes to look upon Jung Min's face, he could tell the man was a Raven just by looking at him. However, Taemin did nothing about this feeling, he only looked over Jungmin briefly before slowly closing his eyes and continuing his dance until his mother's flute sang the last note. As the crowd clapped Taemin bowed with his mother in hand, though he used the time to pull her closer and whisper softly to her, "Go home." She looked worriedly at her song before her eyes slid over to glance at Jungmin. Then she turned to leave without another word. Taemin stayed behind to bow a few times and thank people softly, smiling a bit. He too, turned to leave after his mother.
