Happy 100th Birthday David Attenborough!

I think Frieza has strangely become one of my go-to examples of how to give a villain character growth without having to have them grow out of being a villain.

Frieza as he is currently is every bit as much of a monstrous bastard as he ever was but he's changed quite a bit. For one thing he clearly takes himself much less seriously, he's still got an ego the size of... well of a Dragonball villain, but he's been humbled enough times at this point that he's actually learned to keep it in check (most of the time).

He's even kind of learned to laugh at himself a little, he plays along with the rest of the cast's comedy shenanigans now instead of being all Mr Scary Sadist Man all the time. What's more a little bit of Goku has rubbed off on him over the years and Frieza's bought what he's been selling about the thrill of the fight and the satisfaction of pushing yourself to grow stronger. In fact he straight up says he doesn't want immortality anymore because it would take the fun out of the game for him now.

He's even come to if not respect Goku than at least understand and appreciate him as a worthy adversary. They even convince Frieza to take one for the team in the Tournament of Power on nothing but the promise that Goku will repay him because nobody understands better than Frieza at this point that Goku is every bit as good as his word and will always come through in the end.

Bearing in mind, Frieza is still by far the most vile and deplorable character in the dragonball multiverse. The Gods of Destruction themselves are disgusted by his cruelty and lack of honor. In that respect he hasn't changed one iota, nor will he ever, but at the same time Frieza has come quite a long way since being an exceptionally one dimensional heel on Namek. It just always bothers me that the only way writers seem to know how to give villains character growth is to redeem them, so it's always refreshing to see that pitfall get sidestepped.

I Love Trains

Best form of transportation. Plenty of leg room only have to get there 5 minutes before it leaves often sells food almost always on time no traffic no carsickness the areas around train tracks are always prettier than a freeway (even if it’s a dump).

Won’t say no to the occasional boat though. Those place second.

Hot Takes on Kuriza (Frieza's Son in Some Dragon Ball Continuities)

Kuriza doesn't have a deformity or anything because he has a pointy bit on top of his head; all of Frieza's race are born with that as a vestigial trait from when they were incubated in eggs (instead of tanks or whathaveyou) and had to break their way through the shell to be born (so serving the same purpose as a bird's beak), but that pointy bit falls off after a few years, and Kuriza only has it because he's still so young.

Related to this: Kuriza isn't his legal name, it's his dad's nickname for him. His legal name is likely Gelid or something, but literally no one calls him that (since everyone close enough to him to call him by name instead of some variation on 'your highness' or 'my prince' calls him by his nickname instead), to the point that he is several years old before he learns that Kuriza is not his actual name.

Renee Nicole Good, 37, was murdered by ICE in broad daylight, in front of numerous witnesses that were recording it from multiple angles.

Trump and Homeland Security are now attempting to claim that she was a "deranged terrorist" that "ran over" ICE agents. The videos demonstrate that she was speaking to an agent through an open window, and was attempting to move her vehicle out of the way and leave when the agent standing BESIDE her vehicle shot her point-blank in the face.

ICE agents then refused to permit medical assistance for more than 10 minutes. One of the witnesses was a doctor, but was not permitted to render aid.
