"I remember when I had a crush, that sure was one heavy boulder.”
“I’ve had a few crushes in the past though, granted those sort of feelings often come and go with the wind, don’t they?“
"What’s love?”
“That’s an easy one, it’s a great excuse to drink.”
“So lets see here, we transitioned from pizza, to stripping and now people are starting fires.”
“That sure escalated quickly, I can’t explain why but this sure is giving me some serious déjà vu.”
themagehero:
“I had hoped these patterns of behaviour would be left behind. I was clearly expecting too much. Now people are going to do so just because you mentioned it. For Maker’s sake…”
He can’t help but feel frustrated. Daylen had long grown bored of these incidents. From random stripping to the constant fires. Surely they could leave all that behind and start anew?
Yasuo can’t help but chuckle and he just pats Daylen on the back to comfort, considering how clearly distressed he is on all this.
“I’m afraid I’ve lost you in regards to leaving things behind, but if this sort of behavior happens often and a majority of people are instigated by a random stranger’s words.“
“I’m guessing it can’t really be helped, all you can really do is focus on yourself and your own business.”
“Like the previous conversation, I’m certain this will all blow over quickly.“
themagehero:
“You all do realise that despite Yasuo mentioning it, no one is actually stripping right? I believe he was simply remembering those… unusual times in Hive City. Where some people seemed to lack any decency.”
Does this mean the swordsman is remembering little things from the experiment, just like what Romanus was? Whatever the case he won’t allow this to get out of hand.
“Looks like that’s going to change quickly at the rate this is going.”
"So how long until everyone starts spontaneously stripping?”
"So we’re on pizza, huh?”
“How about this? Lets make a pizza with every topping imaginable and.. force feed it to Kumagawa~!”
“Hm.. seeing how the city isn’t a complete wreck and people are talking about work, maybe I should get a job?”
“Seeing how I’m going to be stuck here for who-knows how long, it would at least give me something to do around here.”
Yasuo ponders for a few moments, thinking about just how many useful skills he has he can offer others.
“Lets see, what are my skills? ...
I can hold my liquor pretty damn well.
I can handle the outdoors.
I’m pretty good at Mahjong.
I can juggle?
Yeah, perfectly able and qualified worker here.”

it is /absolutely/ a daycare centre and no one has even fought any bad guys yet
“So we’re getting law enforcement now?”
“I’ll give you all credit for that optimism and enthusiasm you got going there, but good luck dealing with those total nutcases with tentacles and eye-lasers.“

The whole time the android spoke, Romanus had a slight headache. Why did he feel like this was something he was used to. Being thrown into a situation where he had to team up with someone, or just thrown into a situation where you had to participate. For someone who didn’t really work well as a team, he didn’t seem at all bothered by this. Four people in a team, it was a odd feeling because usually he’d say something of ‘i’ll do this alone’, and yet he just nodded, listened to what Daylen said and even allowed the group name to be called out. The other introduces himself and still, there’s no disagreement to anything. JUST how much has the dragon changed from his supposed stay at the previous city?
Daylen had mentioned that he knew him from that older city. He’ll have to be sure and remember to ask the mage about his stay there.
it’s good to also know that this Sei guy won’t use his mind control unless he has to. The dragon wouldn’t want him trying to control his mind.
“I’m Romanuse Rye. I can turn into a dragon, though recently found out I’m not the size I should be. I can also manipulate fire….ALSO found out that it’s not to its full potential.” he’s not happy about it, it’s shown in the tone of voice, “but if there’s beacons high above, I’m willing to let one of ya. use me to get there……preferably, the guy in the robe….Daylen, no offense to ya’ll” He just trusts the guy more. Knows him out of the other two. His gut feeling also feels much closer to the mage.
Now this was certainly a turn of events, a strange cat automaton forcing them into a situation where they needed to team up and participate in some sort of cartography mission? Not exactly the weirdest situation he was in, but Yasuo didn’t mind all that much, he’s worked with strangers in the past and this was no different.
But ‘We Hive the Power’? That was certainly an odd team name, but considering the mage seemed to know at least one other person in this group personally, perhaps he just didn’t understand the context?
Nonetheless, he didn’t mind. Currently, his number one concern was to complete whatever it is that needed to be done. It’s funny how determined and willing people are to cooperate when your life is being threatened. Once everyone else introduced themselves Yasuo gives everyone a polite nod and he greets everyone with a friendly and welcoming smile.
"You all can call me Yasuo.”
”I’m primarily skilled in the blade, should something or somebody ambush or attack us, I’ll make quick work of it.”
As for his team, everyone seemed to be well and capable to hold their own. With the objective being relatively simple, this activity should play out and be finished pretty quickly if things continued to move smoothly.
Learning that Sei was capable of controlling people’s minds against their will was a bit unsettling to him too. However, if they were only capable of doing so three times a day, it was only logical they’d likely save it for emergencies, even if they had secret ill intentions.
“This is the first I’ve heard of people’s skills and traits being limited, so far I haven’t noticed much of a change since I’ve gotten here, so perhaps I’m lucky and wasn’t affected.”

“Why is everyone saying ‘fuck’?”
“Did everyone just simultaneously learn that was a curse word?”

Drop my muse down a peg. Bring up their deepest insecurities and most regretful past decisions. Do whatever you can to make them hate themselves.
Send my muse anons pretending to be someone they care about. The twist: make these anons as heartbreaking, disappointing, or anger-inducing as possible.
Pretend to give them bad news, pretend to break up with them, pretend to make an upsetting confession - as long as it hurts, it’s fair game.
themagehero:
“One wonders how whoever brought us here has been able to organise so many cars almost every few minutes. They must have a lot of influence over the island. Maybe even control of it, but we’ll only know in time. When I arrived here, my driver wasn’t too helpful. I was just told to read the pamphlet instead.”
Now did they really not know anything, or were they told to ignore his questions? It had felt like talking to a brick wall. This island was different from the city in one major way. Back then, you were introduced to the scientists and it being an ‘experiment’ almost immediately. Here nothing like that had been officially announced.
“I am from a country called Ferelden. It’s not in the Runeterra you speak of. Rather, an entirely different world known as Thedas. My apologies for reminding me of home in a situation like this.”
“I barely understand how they work, all I know is they get you one place to another and that’s good enough for me.“
He wouldn’t doubt these machines existing in Piltover and Zuan though, considering all the rumors and stories he’s heard of those places.
Yasuo then couldn’t help but chuckle at how formal this guy was being, perhaps he was just overthinking things, after all considering they were from two different worlds entirely, it made no sense for them to have ever met in the past.
“No worries, that wasn’t the reason I asked, something about you seemed familiar to me, that’s all.“
“And even then, I generally don’t call a single place my home anyways. This world here is just another page to the book that is my life.“
averageassassin:
Damn him and his curiosity.
He reasoned with himself that this was important information; if he were to get a good idea of the world he was in now, or to figure out why everything was… well why everything had gone to shit, then this was the way to start. The big gaping abyss in the middle of the city was a phenomenon that despite everything he’d see, alien and a little frightening. It only made sense that he’d want to go stare directly into it like an idiot.
Desmond had dropped to the empty plateau surrounding the hole- er, well, he’d thought it’d been empty. He froze when he realized he’d hit the ground close to another person he presumed to already be investigating.
➢ ; “Uh.”
He coughed when addressed, warily moving up besides the man in blue.
➢ ; “I think I wouldn’t want to be the one that jumps in to find out.” A pause as he kneeled down, casting his gaze into the emptiness as well.
➢ ; “Maybe it’s some huge glory hole.” He gave a single, humorless laugh. “But really though, what… what the hell could make something like this? Do you have any ideas?”
"You think so? I don’t really see how a gaping hole is in any way glorious. ”
Yasuo states as he continued to stare down into the abyss that was this massive pit in the ground, looks like the joke flew right over his head.
"No idea, all I know it must’ve took a lot of power and magic to cause something like this. Maybe it was an explosion or some void creature?”
He then shuts his eyes and pauses a moment in thought, either way it wasn’t like the answer to all these mysteries was going to come falling from the sky. He’d likely need to do some investigative work and explore the city himself.
“Either way, whatever made this hole is likely why the surrounding city is currently in ruin.”
