They hadn’t expected you to be there. Clad in only Cals shirt as you finished up feeding Duke and the three of them tumble into the kitchen.
You’re frozen, feeling like a deer in headlights as three matching looks of embarrassment meet yours and you can feel yourself get flustered.
“Erm, hi. Hello, uh, Cal’s still asleep. Did you want me to go wake him?” You stumble over your words and Luke nods.
“We, yeah. Can do.” He finally mutters and you smile shyly before slipping past them to head upstairs.
Ashton follows after you and you try not to bristle before he splits off and walks ahead to the bathroom.
Once you’re back in the bedroom, you have to stop yourself from falling to temptation and falling back into bed with Calum.
The way he’s stretched out as you itching to crawl back next to him and nestle yourself into his side. It takes you a minute before you hear the flush of the toilet and you sigh as you sit on the edge of the bed.
“Cal,” you murmur softly, loud enough to draw him from slumber but not loud enough to startle him, “time to wake up baby.” Your hand reaches out, tracing his face gently.
It earns you a soft groan as he moves into your touch before burying his face into the pillow.
“Don’ wanna.” Is the muffles response as he reaches out, his arms pulling you down next to him and you giggle quietly as his grip gets tighter.
“You need to baby. The guys showed up just now.” You’d him in return, smiling as he peeled his eyes open slowly, a suffering sigh falling from his lips as he did so.
“They could’ve waited till lunch.” He grumbled, pushing up onto one arm before his lips found yours. “Mornin’ sweetheart.” You’d smile against his lips before lifting a hand to rest against his cheek.
“You know they mean well.” You’d murmur as he finally pulls away from the bed and you follow, the both of you going through your morning routine.
Unbeknownst to you, Ashton had heard the exchange and when he heard the two of you getting easy, he continued his journey downstairs, a smile on his lips as he rejoined Luke and Michael in the kitchen.
“So?” Michael would prompt and Ashton could only smile in return.
“I reckon he’s in good hands. I’ll tell you later, but she really does care for him.” He’d answer as your footsteps crossed the hallway and descended the stairs.
“Did you three want any coffee or breakfast?” You’d ask as you enter the kitchen, still in Calum’s button down shirt but the front tucked into jeans and hair looking a lot neater.
“Nah. We were thinking of going out to breakfast. Hence why we’re around.” Ashton would explain and you’d meet his smile with one of your own.
“Cal would like that. I know he hasn’t had enough down time lately.”
“You’re coming too.” Michael piped up, making you pause.
“We wanna get to know the person who’s clearly got our bassist entirely smitten.” And your face would grow warm as Calum entered, a grin settles on his lips as he greeted you with a kiss.
