Yooo! So I literally just rolled out of bed, so forgive me if my words are a little confused.

I’ve been at Citta for… four years? Through a lot of mental ups and downs. It’s been wonderful to rp here and watch the dash. When I first joined I was in a really dark place, and in part I credit the friends I’ve made here with helping me to reach where I am now, in the state of okay. And some of those friends have been mods and staff here at Citta, and so I’m more than happy to follow them to this new community where hopefully we can flourish.

It’s been wonderful to rp here and watch the dash and I look forward to more of the same at isola radiale. I’ll be moving all my current muses over initially, although I’ve got some ideas to shake up my roster, too.

I tend to be pretty private (I am shy), but my twitter is over at @clawataguchi, and people are free to DM, PM, or IM me for my discord if that’s preferred :3

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ

Hey guys! This will probably be very unfortunate news to you all, but we’ve been put in a situation where we have to bring this to your attention. After 7 long years Citta is about to be closed. We don’t know when or if that is the 100% for sure outcome, or whether it was intended to let it die out quietly, however two mods have already quit and the rest of us have been effectively locked out of the masterlist without any communication from the head moderator.

I won’t get into too much detail about the circumstances here, but over the past week (and farther back in general) there have been some issues that we haven’t been able to address within the moderator team, and despite several attempts to rectify the situation it seems we won’t be able to come to satisfactory conclusion in the end.

But all hope isn’t lost. After some discussion during the past week, mods oo4, oo7, o13, and myself have decided to create a new group in its stead. 

Most importantly, Citta members will get an opportunity to claim muses they had in Citta at the time of closing and will retain all of their memories, unlocks, and a rank of equivalent value in our new system. 

In the meantime, feel free to continue any threads you currently have in the group since memories will carry over to the new group, however do not explicitly refer to citta. We’ll have new information very soon on this blog, so please keep an eye out! In the meantime I will be using my unlocked twitter here to address any questions or concerns. This will be a sad time for all of us and trust me when I say none of us wanted it to reach this point.

Thanks for your support, and I hope you’ll continue to support us in the future! We profusely apologize for any inconvenience or anxiety this change may cause you.

IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ.

Good morning, everyone.

I come to you all with a heavy heart right now.

Due to circumstances that have continued for a good length of time and several conversations among staff, we have reached the tough decision to dissolve as the moderation team of Citta-Alveare. Due to this, Citta is effectively closed.

It was a long and emotional road we went down to get to this point and no doubt many of you reading this are now troubled. We are, too. But we do have options going forward.

A new group is in the process of being built and will launch soon, headed by myself and mods oo7 and oo4, as well as mod blank. Those interested in joining will be able to maintain their rank, memories and unlocks if they choose to migrate to the new group. You may also continue any threads you have running in the meantime, but feel free to use a general city setting. We will have more information forthcoming in the near future.

If you have questions or concerns, I direct you to my main Twitter account, @ KRStaley, which will be unlocked for the time being.

Again, I am very sad we have come to this point, and I am sorry to cause anyone distress. However, I and others hope you will join us and together we can look toward a happier future doing what we love.

Yaiba did manage to make Crow move just a little, but the hedgehog was quick to wiggle back into place. Wagging his tail a little, he glanced up to the controller in the fox’s hands, then back to the phone in his hand.

“Like what?” Had he fed the bull today? Probably…. probably. Who knew. “Not like they’re ever doin’ anything fun around here.”

“You cannot conceive of anything Legend of More Fun than monopolizing my lap?” Yaiba doubted. He angled his head to try and get a look at Crow’s phone, to answer the question of what was so important that Crow had to do it right where he was.

“Kitten videos, hence?”

Crow looked over to the tv, just to make sure the game was still running. Sure enough…

“Whaddya mean?” His tail swished when he jerked his attention up to Yaiba instead. “Looks like it’s workin’ just fine.”

Translation: No, he’s comfy.

“How is it that you are capable of fighting me without lifting a finger? Is this the true purpose of a hedgehog’s spines?”

He tried to roll Crow out of his lap without taking his hands off the controlled by leveraging Crow free by wedging his elbows in between Crow’s back and his own body.

“Do you not have anything else you could be doing, hence?” Yaiba grunted as he pushed Crow. How did he get his weight to increase whenever Yaiba wanted to move him?

Yaiba’s ears went flat as the obvious flaws in his metaphor were pointed out. His brows also furrowed as he panicked internally - admitting that he had already screwed up was too embarrassing...

“H, hence... it... it is a Legend of Metaphor Within Metaphor. Perhaps... we should speak more directly... Ahem. What was your question again?”

They have figured all the questions they come up with would remain unanswered for a long, long time. “But how can there be two of you?! You said this is you, right? … Don’t tell me you have a twin and are just messing with me.”

“Nay.” He took a moment to pause the video playing on his phone. Then he unpaused it, let it play for a moment, and repaused it on a less unflattering frame of himself.

“Hence, as I said, this is a vision of the past. Last weekend, we recorded this event with a camera… Consider it a Legend of Electronic Eye, which observes our actions as our own eyes might, and then from the camera the images are hence uploaded to the internet and…”

Something occurred to him at last. If this individual knew so little about the internet, or even video itself, then…

“Hence, are you familiar with electricity?”

Is that… possible? He possesses the features of a fox, like her co-worker Ookami. She’s probably staring a little too hard, for a little too long.   

Yaiba was familiar with the sensation of someone staring at him in public – for one thing, it caused his anxiety to spike and give him a headache. And the source of that intense feeling upon him was…

A red panda?

He looked her in the eye solidly while he took his turn to scrutinize her. He… he should say something before this became too awkward.

“Hence…” he fumbled as he approached. Should he kneel? She was so much shorter in comparison that he couldn’t help taking a knee to get to eye-level.

“…” He hadn’t planned this out well at all.

“Ahem… Legend of Good Morning to you.”

“I… don’t understand. What other purpose could it serve?” He does glance at the fluffy ears and tail, but only for a moment. It’s not like he’s never seen animal traits on a person before. (Or a Servant, for that matter!)

“Are you familiar with how... In many mecha anime, when the mecha link up to become more powerful and Legend of Crush Their Enemies As One. Hence, it’s much like that.”
