It has been four years and counting and the civil war occurring in Russia is still raging on, full force. Rumours of nuclear warfare have spiked panic in the United Nations, causing the world leaders to form alliances in hopes of reducing the increasing hostility between the members of the opposing universes.

Norway, Latveria, Lithuania, Mongolia, and Kaznia have all begun sending their forces into Russian territory in hopes of aiding the war efforts. The United States, as well, is sending Lex Luthor to the war zone in order to meet with the government officials there, his purpose both to mitigate the hostility and attempt to reach a peace treaty between the divided parties.

As the number of civilian casualties increases, it may soon become plausible that America will join the alliance, ultimately having no choice but to send soldiers or heroes to finally put an end to this bitter bloodshed.

VINDEX EXCLUSIVE / MARCH 24TH

Breaking news! More heroes are falling from the sky. Where they are coming from, nobody knows for certain, but they have arrived! We proudly welcome back Bobby Drake (A.K.A. Iceman), Clark Kent (A.K.A. Superman), and Scott Summers (A.K.A. Cyclops). This means there are only two heroes remaining — Tony Stark (A.K.A. Iron Man) and Bruce Banner (A.K.A. The Incredible Hulk) — trapped in another dimension, suspended in a world far away, but hopefully not quite unlike our own.

In order to hear the full story, I took it upon myself to survey some of the students at Vindex, relatives of the heroes, both resurrected and still fallen. When asked about their family members, this is what they had to say:

And there you have it! As much as there are remains some, evidently, mixed feelings surrounding the return of these heroes, the vast majority of America is overjoyed to have them back, welcoming them with open arms as they reintegrate themselves into the hero lifestyle and begin to team up with their allies to fight crime back in our country and around the world!

VINDEX EXCLUSIVE / MARCH 14TH

Breaking news! Vindex Academy is on lockdown. The resident school for superheroes, agents, and engineers went on automatic shutdown after a storm knocked out their power, forcing the student body to migrate to the cafeteria, professors and engineers scrambling around the edifice in search of a way to reactivate the power and override the locking mechanisms.

How such an incident managed to take place at this prestige school for heroes? I was wondering the exact, same thing. Which is why I took it upon myself to visit Vindex and meet with the directors there.

Nick Fury and Amanda Waller had no comment on the occurrence, offering a simple “we have the situation contained,” before leaving me there with more questions than answers. I decided to survey the student body to find out more.

“It was terrifying, being trapped in the cafeteria for days on end. The agents were all away on a training mission, and the supers’ abilities were repressed from power dampeners. It was left to the few engineers … The rest of us were useless, everything out of our control,” said one particularly distressed student on the matter.

It seems as though Vindex has been having some problems of their own, lately. First, a teacher sending his class to Wyoming, abandoned in the wilderness with nothing but a change of clothes, a tarp, and rope to survive. And now? A storm, capable of setting the entire campus on lockdown, taking days to override the system.

It seems as though nothing can get into the school. Or out. What are you hiding, Vindex? It’s about time you bring your secrets into the light.

Breaking News

The Strike Teams returned late last night with our missing family and friends, most of the rescued heroes have been sequestered within the medical center due to their severe injuries.  Their physical injuries are just the begining once all of them are stable, they’ve been ordered to attend therapy sessions to help them asses their trauma.   We have received limited information on the heroes, but from what we’ve gathered here our there conditions.

Arabella Wayne - Three Broken Ribs and Sprained Wrist (Stable Condition)

Barbara Gordon - Gunshot wound to the leg, exsanguination, mild cuts and bruises to the head and neck. (Intensive Care)

Conner Kent - Kyptonite Poisoning, mild cuts and bruises (Intensive care)

Dani Cage - Three broken ribs and slight internal bleeding (Stable Condition)

Kara Zor’el - Kryptonite Poisoning  (Intensive Care)

Rachel Grey Summers - Mild Cuts and Bruises (Released from Medical) 

Sofia Stark - Severe Internal Bleeding, skin tears around wrists (Intensive Care)

As of right now your characters can begin to arrive back to the academy. I know that some people’s rescue chats/paras have no finished so feel free to take your time, no need to rush. Now you can begin to post your starters.

Breaking News

It has been several days since the students and faculty of Vindex Academy had went missing.  The remaining heroes had been searching high and low for information on the whereabouts of the heroes.  The two have come up with two definite locations within New York where their friends and family are most likely.  The only way to guarantee success is to split the remaining staff and students in two to attack both locations at once.  

Due to the sensitivity of this mission some students are being forced to stay behind to provide cover and lead the villains to think the heroes are doing exactly as instructed.  If you name is not listed below, you are not allowed off campus during the rescue attempt.
