She knew it was a mistake to fight with just her bow and arrow and her minimal fighting skills, but her school was under attack, people she cared about were under attack. So she fought, earned herself a broken ankle, a huge gash across her head that paired nicely with a concussion, and a bullet wound in her arm nicely stitched up. She felt a hand on hers, the slight pressure waking her, “ ‘M awake, promise.”

“I’m fine. I swear, I’m fine.” Laura slurred. The last HYDRA asshole she was fighting managed to get ahold of her shield and bashed her in the face with it, effectively knocking her out. She came to a while later to a someone standing above her, asking if she was alright.

“Are you kidding? I feel great.” Jax said with a bloodied smirk on his lips. “Did you see how many punks I took out? It was awesome.”

Cerise sat in the hallway, glancing up every so often at the panicked people running by. She felt slightly anxious herself, but not over the state of emergency. She watched the people passing by and knew they were all running to someone. The girl sitting on the floor was completely and utterly alone.

Lexa was backed against the corner, she was freaking out. She hated the dark, and her sister, her Scarlet, was... something was wrong with her. She was hiding in a closet, making her panic worse and her sobs louder, because small spaces. She heard footsteps outside the door, “G-g-go a-aw-way.” she cried.

Laura was running through the hallway, towards the lab where she had the shield she made, fashioned after her father’s. She got it, and started to walk back to where she left her girlfriend. She heard rustling, and she raised her shield, pressing a button pn the inside, expanding it. “Who’s there?” she called cautiously.
