WARNING: A New Challenger Has Appeared
And she is here
making love
Legionverse has made an appointment
Detail?
He was in his office. Why did he need detail?
“…..” He sat back and rolled his eyes, pressing his index finger and thumb against the bridge of his nose with a sigh. The girl was quiet. He could live with that. Reno, on the other hand…
“Tseng put you up to this, didn’t he?” From the sounds of things, this was punishment for Reno. Why was he the one who had to see through it? Usually he was informed of such things before they happened.
"Heeee might have yeah. Boss's order Boss." He shoved his hands into his pockets, with a shrug. "He said you needed to looked after. No repeats of last time, yo."
Fiamma glanced at Reno and rolled her eyes slightly. Right piss of the babyBoss. Wonderful way to start the first day of the new assignment.
"Also to keep you save sir. There are those who more than likely wish you ill."

The blond glanced up through the fringe of his golden blond hair as the door to his office opened, humming faintly.
Turks.
One familiar, one not.
“Reno.” He greeted calmly, “and… company.” He set his pen down and laced his fingers together, sitting back in his chair. He mentally braced himself for a conversation with the red-haired Turk. Reno could be… trying on his patience more often than not.
“To what do I owe the oh-so-pleasant intrusion?” He prompted, arching his eyebrows expectantly.
Fiamma glanced at Reno as they both stood before Rufus' desk, hands folded behind her back. She was silent, Reno was the mouth, she just....corrected it.
"Detail." He grinned at the white dressed young man before them. "Or...babysittin' duty. I might have been a little...nah it don't matter. Just that we are here to be gofers and make sure no one tries to off you, sir."
Friendly reminder that if you really don’t want to do a thread/ask thing/the roleplay thing, all you have to do is say no. The majority of us will back off and go find someone else to bother. The rest of us are just desperate.

Halfway through his second bag of cheese doodles he glanced over at his silent pseudo lunch companion and found that she’d shifted her sitting position and it took everything for him not to think dirtily about the nameless girl. Hard to do really. She was easy on the eyes. REALLY easy on the eyes, auburn haired, freckles.
Fuck.
And he had to go on a mission. Soon. Ish. But hell he could take a few minutes to get to know the girl before he bailed. He wouldn’t die today so he could always come back and try again if he fucked up.
His phone buzzed and he mentally sent Reeve a fuck you with a pink bow to show his sincerity before turning more towards her, making sure first that his damn face was void of cheesiness.
"I bet if your heart could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world.”
She hadn’t really been paying attention to him until he spoke up. She’d beeglancing up at the way the almost natural light filtered through the leaves as they reached out over the room. She listened to him before she turned to aknowledge he spoke.
That was slick. She had heard her fair share of pickup lines, but that was not only incredibly sweet, but a clever nod to their employment to an Electric company.
She blinked at him once, cheeks heating up, before she laughed, covering her mouth lightly with one hand.
"Oh my gosh." Was the first thing she managed to get out around flattered giggles.
Not what she expected from a Turk, she had to admit. Weren’t they all super secret business and stuff? Guess not.
"I’ve heard some good lines since I got here, but I think that one takes the cake." She admitted, unable to keep herself from grinning.
Oh Ifrit's Buttcheeks she was cuter when she smiled.
Goddaaaaaamn it.
"Yo really?" He was pretty surprised that it struck favor with her and he grinned for it. "People in this building are slacking then if that's the best one. I guess I should thank em for that then." He crossed one leg over the other and leaned back, elbows in the dirt he looked upwards at what she had been looking at before.
"Weird that this is the only floor with an actual living plant in it. Well save for the odd potted flower on a cubical desk." He mused before looking back at her.
"Jeez Im hella rude." He offered her his hand. "Reno Tarshil, Turk."

Often times, it was only her that sat directly beneath the tree. The planter it was in was cod metal, and high enough that she had to hop up from the ground and slide her butt onto the lip of it to sit. Sure, there was a table with seats nearby, but it wasn’t as close as siting on the planter. If it wouldn’t soil her clothes, and if she didn’t think she’d get in trouble for it, she’d sit in the planter against the tree’s massive trunk.
It was a surprise to her when the red-haired man sat near her, and, let’s face it, there’s no ignoring Reno, especially when it’s one’s first time seeing him. She glanced sideways initially to see who it was, as she hadn’t really socialized much within the company, and expected it to be another off-duty SOLDIER who was friendly, but a touch too energetic for her to deal with at the moment.
No. Instead it was a man with bright red hair and a black suit. Unkempt. That’s what she thought of him. His suit was unzipped— wait, what? zipped? Didn’t they button usually?— and his white shirt was untucked and unbuttoned around the collar. It took her a moment of thought to recognize the uniform.
The last time she’d seen it, it was from a distance and on a very serious man with his black hair in a ponytail.
It belonged to the Turks, ShinRa’s covert ops, for lack of a better term. They belonged to the incredibly exclusive Investigations Sector of General Affairs, which, she supposed, was a much less intimidating title. Although she was secure in her position and her lie, comfortable that she was safe from serious inspection by these people, it still made her a little wary. He seemed more focused on his food than her, and for that, she breathed a small sigh of relief. She made sure not to observe for too long, though, as to not unnecessarily draw unwanted attention. She couldn’t imagine that these guys spent a whole lot of time interracting with the common working class within the company. They had bigger fish to fry. Probably.
Assumptions were dangerous things. Shifting to scoot one knee close to her chest, she wrapped her arms around it and rested her chin on her knee.

Plot # 28: Tale of Two Kingdoms
Muse A is a prince. Muse B is a princess. Both royals are from neighboring kingdoms that have had a tenuous alliance for hundreds of years. Muse A’s kingdom has a formidable army; while Muse B’s kingdom has plentiful gold and silks. War is threatening to come to their lands and the only thing that can secure peace for both kingdoms is a union of families by marriage of the next heirs to the throne. The prince and princess are set to be wed shortly after their first meeting, once Muse B is of age to bear children. At first, the betrothed couple do not get along. Bad blood between their fathers have tainted their views of each other long before they come to meet. Gradually, as they are forced to engage in the courting process for the sake of the kingdoms, their negative impressions of each other fall away.

Slow days for the Turks were often not for the rest of the company.
It was a regular day for her, which meant scurrying to and fro, delivering papers, picking up more, and occasionally stopping at her desk to actually fill out forms before depositing those too.
She’d been going since eight that morning. Nonstop.
Her stomach snarled angrily at her for her to pause and feed herself, but she had more papers to deliver to lower members of the science division. She grunted. She wasn’t fond of the science division, bunch of nerds who all had their minds and hearts in the wrong places. Well. Most of them.
Upo the elevator. Down the elevator. It was enough to make her head spin, and by the time she’d returned to her desk, it was well past lunch time, but she made her way up to the cafe, and then carded herself to the sixty-first floor to have late lunch. It was the only upper level (minus sixty, of course, but that was just a checkpoint) that she was allowed to go to, and she, like clockwork, always went there for lunch. She enjoyed sitting underneath the tree there, to get just that small bit of organic interaction on a daily basis. Even the light they used there felt like sunlight. It was a nice breath of fresh air (literally) in an otherwise very busy and hectic day. So, with sandwich in hand, and heels off, she sat beneath the tree, unwrapped her lunch, and decompressed for a bit.
Really he shouldn't complain about his job. Even if it wasn't entirely a complaint, a half-assed complaint in light of past ones, he still did it. Nothing would come of it, nothing ever would. He was too dedicated to his work if anyone could or would believe that. He loved it.
Mostly.
Sometimes there were things that needed to be done that he was not proud of but....well. It was what was ordered of him. Not that he always followed those to the letter, who did?
Oh. Right. Everyone else. Well...nowadays anyways. To a point....
......
Who the hell was he kidding no one wanted to listen to that fat pompous prick of a President? No one. But maybe Scarlet, Palmer and Heidegger.
Whatever. Too much thinking not enough food for the day. Rolling his eyes he lifted himself from a reclined position on one of the rows of seats on that particular floor, walking across the blindingly lit floor towards an elevator.
He was halfway to it when his phone went off. Slipping a hand into his pocket, he retrieved his phone and flipped it open to read the message he'd been sent. Reeve of course, not exactly someone to talk directly on the phone most of the time, texting worked better for him.
[Text From: Reeve] Job lined up, meet up on the ground floor. 10 minutes. And I mean 10 minutes Reno.
And audible sound of complaint left him and he nearly threw his phone. Not the first time it would have happened and certainly wouldn't have been the last.
[Text To: Reeve] Yea yea i got it. Gotta put something in my face or i will eat the first person i see. Ya'll can wait.
Closing his phone he trudged to one of the floors vending machines and choosing a few things and inserting the gil to pay for them, he bent and scooped them from the basket at the bottom and headed over to the large tree in the center of the floor.
He had to wonder why the hell it was there. To give the building life? Odd concept given what the energy that ran the building was made of...but whatever made them feel less guilty. Or more guilty.
Taking a seat he barely paid any mind to the girl who sat not too far from him and he started in on his less than healthy or filling lunch. He could eat later, this would just sustain him for the next several hours and he was fine with that.
