Ninjago really needs to stop giving old ass parents/parental figures to teenage/young adult characters, cause why are there so many instances of this?

I really wouldn't be surprised if Ras's master was just a guy who lurked in the shadows and didn't do shit. I don't even mean it in a BAD way but like, Ras is quite literally a Darth Vader guy, he goes and does all the dirty work for his master who sits on his throne and pulls the strings from the shadows. That isn't a bad thing, just so long as they can like, continue to utilize Ras in a compelling way lol.
