“You must be really desperate if you’re coming to me for help. What do you need Riley? I guess we’re still family. I honestly don’t know where you and Ali stand at this point but whatever.”

“I am lucky. For the first time I can say I’m lucky I got super wasted. Southvale is so messed up all the time. Literally… I can’t think of one good reason why someone would bring it with them. Oh wow… I don’t think anyone in Southvale is that lit.”

There’s a first time for everything.You know I always think that but somehow I always get dragged back to this town. Well apparently Ms. I Bring Guns to Parties is the most lit of us all. So lit that they shot me.

I still think it’s weird that there was an earthquake during Derek’s party. The last time I checked we weren’t near that many fault lines. There’s something weird going on in this town and I’m going to figure it out. Southvale Living will have a new section dedicated to the unexplained events that keep happening in this town.

“It’s like I was at a different party. I missed all of this dramatic shit. Why can’t Southvale do anything without some massive drama happening. How could someone be so reckless?”

You’re one of the lucky ones, Angie. It wouldn’t be Southvale without the massive drama. That’s what I would like to know. Like hello leave your gun at home. What were they going to do? Dance and then shoot the ceiling to show that they’re super lit?

“You’re not in a really good mood today, Red. I know you like the other doctor more than me, but he’s on a holiday. Good news though, you’re good to go home. Can I call anyone for you to pick you up from the hospital?”

“Don’ call me, Red. I’m not in a bad mood, I’m just annoyed. The news-cycle doesn’t stop just because I got injured so I need to get back to work right now, Doc. No it’s fine, my assistant will pick me up. I would say thank you but it’s not like you were the one who helped me the whole time but you can say that to the other doctor for me. Bye Doctor.. Blue Eyes?”

“I’m glad you’re okay but why exactly did you get into a fight with someone?Is this something that happens a lot?“

“–If you’re insinuating that I go around picking fights– that’s not the case. It’s only happened a couple of times. I just…. lose my temper. This guy was bothering a young girl, and I couldn’t just stand by and let something bad happen to her, y’know?”

"I'm sorry. I just don't really know you that well and I was just curious. That's actually... pretty heroic of you. Reckless but heroic. Are you going to a doctor to have your injuries checked out?"

You were shot? Did you see who did it? Do you remember anything at all?

It was Alexis. It was definitely a mistake because she was trying to see if it had bullets in it and the next thing I knew was that she somehow pulled the trigger and it hit me in the shoulder. I passed out after that. It's an embarrassing story.

“You think I look bad– you should see the other guy,” Seth muttered before taking a long sip of the whiskey he’d ordered. After coming across a guy in the street pushing around some young girl, he’d lost his temper and ended up in a street brawl, walking away with a bruised nose and broken hand– but he wasn’t too worried, he’d be healed soon enough. Now that he was calmed down, he did feel a little bad for the other guy– but mostly he thought he deserved it. “It looks a lot worse than it feels.”
