my drama list
i finally finished a drama??? am i out of my slump???
watching boyfriend on demand and yelling, “his autistic swag!” whenever seo in guk comes on screen. but literally! his autistic swag!
boyfriend on demand has very pleasantly surprised me - really enjoying it so far.
romantics anonymous was a delightful surprise. han hyo-joo and shun oguri have delightful chemistry and i'd love to see them in more dramas together!
i wasn't entirely sure where the plot was going at first and i def think the company side of things didn't feel quite as developed. i do wish we got to see more of hana's feelings realisation bc it does feel a little bit like they realised they needed to wrap up the romance quicklynand kind of shoved it in the laat episode that the realisation happened off screen. but overall it was a sweet drama and i enjoyed when it focused on mental health and i liked the dynamic between the leads a lot.
any k-drama recs? or drama recs in general? i've been in a slump for so long 😭
KPOP DEMON HUNTERS (2025) + TUMBLR REACTIONS
you're doing amazing sweetie KPOP DEMON HUNTERS (2025)
bonus:
w ahn hyo-seop voicing jinu in kpop demon hunters i need his career to blow up pls. (i also desperately need him as a ML in an honest to god romcom like business proposal again.)
started watching the first night with the duke, on episode 5 currently, and am pleasantly surprised! went into it not expecting much, but it's funny and i like the chemistry between the leads. v curious to see how it plays out. it gives love game in wastern fantasy vibes w the similar "21st century girl gets sent to her favourite novel" plot.
The My Dear Nemesis watching experience is about thinking over and over "I sure hope this grandma gets hit by a truck. In fact I hope she gets flattened by the ML's favorite band's tour bus. Because that would be hilarious."
i was sympathising w soo-young at first before she went full toxic controlling ex mode. like at first she even had somewhat of a right to be suspicious and concerned bc for all she knew, gojin had no memories and sina WAS initially lying abt being his fiance, and then they were in a fake relationship, but girlypop, you know he has his memories and he's telling you it's over - it's not going to happen. it's been 12 yearsss and YOU were the one who ended it and broke his heart, so you have no right to be mad at him for moving on. get over it already.
not both her private life and crazy love featuring a male lead played by kim jae-wook w abadonment issues. he plays the sad puppy dog eyes so well.
friendly reminder my asks and dm's are always open for drama recs! send me your favourite dramas anytime <3
i need han sohee to be a badass female lead in smth again bc her in my name??? she was so hot in that. unfortunately she hasn't been a main in anything that i've really wanted to watch since - i struggled to get into nevertheless and none of her other dramas particularly stand out to me 😭
i'd kill to see her in a fluffy romcom too tho.
the 30 day drama challenge tag did not last long, should i go back to it?
finished filter and it might be my favourite cdrama i've watched yet. possibly one of my favourite asian dramas i've watched as a whole? the dynamics between the characters feel so refreshing and fun and unique and the premise was actually really well executed! the characters are believably flawed. i think the second leads were one of my favourite parts bc their chemistry and the dynamic between them was adorable, but i loved the main leads after they got over the miscommunication drama and finally saw each other for real.
i personally quite like that we got those last couple eps to see them - and esp chengcheng - be happy and fulfilled in her relationships and friendships and her career. such a stark difference from where we first met her and it's so nice to see her in such a positive place 😭 i think my main complaint would be i wish we got to learn more about tang qi's background. i feel like we learned more abt gu yu's childhood than we did tang qi - would've been nice to learn a bit more abt him bc the most we rlly learned unless i'm missing smth was "he was popular in school & he has an eye condition"
