Which LI is the best match for MC in game? : If I ignore his less than ideal job, I'd say Sylus. I think he's the only one who's somewhat honest with her and he also sees her as an equal and not someone who needs protection which allows MC to be her most badass self

The thing about me is that I have a lot of love in my heart, so technically I love all of them and it cycles depending on whose banner was the latest XD But Sylus and Zayne will always remain at the top.

Relentless Conqueror by A LOT. I find it easy to use and it's the one I always brute force orbit levels with. Helps that it's R3 LMAO

To me, Zayne. I wouldn't have made so many theory posts about him otherwise đđđđ (hold still, my heart, we don't have enough time to write another one for the latest World Underneath).
I just think he has a lot going on!!! Like what's up!! Infold give us some answers instead of more questions!!!!!!

Xavier overall even when I had no myths, he really is the bestđ But I have two accounts so I'm training more with all of Zayne's companions on his and I want the Foreseer to be my all rounder as he's r3 and has the necessary cards and protocores. Same for Lightseeker on Xavier's account.
Which LI has the most intriguing lore?
They all do but Zayne. I feel like there's always so much going on with him. I'm most invested in learning his and Xavier's lore and following their arcs through. I'm obsessed with Zayne overall but especially the Foreseer

I don't think any is necessarily better than the other for MC because we are MC imo. But for my specific MCs, Zayne and Xavier.

Non ironically, I really think all of them. I self insert so I believe all of us are MC and just in our own slices of a massive multiverse so whoever is your main. I don't think anyone lacks chemistry with the canon MC.

OG3. Zayne is my main for a reason and that's all I'll say. If I kept going, I'd write pages atp but he is exactly my type in every minute detail. Like if you ask me, he's what a perfect man is and I'm so serious rn. Xavier also evokes a similar sentiment like apart from locking him out of the kitchen for health and safety reasons, he ticks off standards I didn't even know I had. One of my exes is absolute trash but he was vaguely Rafayel coded when he was great and fun to date so I would happily be with Raf. I couldn't date someone in the military or in a gang sorry Sylus and Calebđđđ I just can't handle that lifestyle. Ironically I'd readily date Dragon Sylus because idk it's still different.

That Zayne is the maknae sjsjaksksj. Like my reasoning is based on assuming the lives reset after resurrection and memory loss so I think technically Xavier and Rafayel are older even though on paper they're not. I mainly want this to be true because it'd be so ironically funny. I actually love Xavier's unhinged jealousy and prefer he stays that way I'm not sorryđ€§đ I also think Rafayel and Sylus would get into fisticuffs to see who gets to lead vocals in idol AU.

Zayne is my main but I adore all of them! They all kinda take turns being my favorite of the moment but if I can only choose one it's Zayne.

Xavier has been trying especially hard to become my main lately. They alllll tempt me constantly which is why I end up cycling through them as my fave of the moment.

I really like Ultimate Weapon Caleb. He's pretty easy to use and was my first myth companion so he holds a special place in my heart.

They all have really interesting lore but I think Zayne's is most intriguing to me simply bc of Dawnbreaker. The idea of both of them being able to see snippets of each other's lives through their dreams is so cool to me! Also the whole thing with Astra is interesting.
Which LI is the best match for MC?
Since MC is the player I think it depends on each individual player. I know some people make a different MC for each LI and I think that's super cool but I myself just self insert for all of them. In game I think the best match for my MC is probably either Zayne or Xavier. They both have that calming type of love and I think my MC really needs that.
Which LI is the best for you irl?
If we're just going based off personality then I think each of them would be a good match in different ways. They all have something that would either balance or compliment my personality. Also the fact that they're all simps works perfectly for me. Now if we factor occupations into it then my answer is gonna have to be Rafayel. Xavier's job is dangerous and he can sometimes be gone for days to weeks at a time and that would stress me out so he's a no go. Zayne works insane hours and his job has to come first since he's literally saving lives so I think that hectic lifestyle wouldn't work well for me. Sylus also has a scary and dangerous job so he's a no bc I'd be stressed out of my mind worried about his safety and my own. Caleb also has to work a lot and is gone for weeks at a time and his job is dangerous so that's a no as well. Rafayel's job isn't typically dangerous and he basically sets his own hours and I could also hang out with him while he works so it'd be a win for both of us. Also I just know he'd treat me so good and make my self esteem skyrocket. He'd also be so fun to hang out with and we're both clingy and touchy so neither of us would have an issue with hanging out all the time. God help anyone who has to be around us when we're both in a silly mood bc we would be so loud and chaotic. I feel like his dramatics would make me comfortable enough for mine to come out full swing but he'd still be the more dramatic one.

This one is more of a hc than a hot take but Sylus' singing actually sounds really great to dragons but for some reason it sounds...ugh...not so good to every other creature. It legitimately sounds good to him which is why he's so smug about his singing.
Idk if it's really a hot take but Zayne is the freakiest of them all he just hides it better.
Colonel Caleb is legit scary (tho incredibly hot).
Not necessarily a hot take but Rafayel should speak in Lumerian more often. He definitely starts babbling in Lumerian when the sex is really good
Xavier is the biggest baby of all the LIs when he's sick. Like full on man flu type shit. If you're not there to baby him and take care of him then he's whining at you until you come over. He reaches Rafayel levels of dramatic when sick.

tempted to switch?: Sylus... he's a very close second and for a moment I considered that I had switched already. But idk I just went back to Zayne. They're constantly in loops in my head

constantly updating mephisto, giving him upgrades and cleanings, giving him a perch in his room, sitting down and talking to him like he would a real pet
and then theres you- making sure you arent drowning in work, not alone handling wanderers, indulging you when you want a fight, coming out to festivals and photobooth dates, buying you the plushies you cant get from the clawmachine, making sure youre ok during the time of the month, always intertwining your fingers together when you hold hands, keeping you safe in the n109, buying jewelry, inviting you to galas and auctions, always having your back when you need him o my sweet loverboy
Three objects placed in the middle of the room, atop a wide red blanket. Three objects with each of its own meaning. And three objects awaiting to be chosen by your innocently curious one-year-old daughter.
"You do realize even if she picks one of these, it doesn't mean it'll eventually determine her future, no?" Sylus mused, eyeing you sitting on the floor across the room from where he sat, his gaze softened at the sight his baby daughter giggling and jumping excitedly in your lap. "Who knows this might end up jinxing us and our daughter became a future Evol Police instead."
"Oh shush you party-pooper." You jested playfully with an eye roll, cooing at your baby daughter sweetly, earning an adorable squeal from the toddler. "There's no harm in indulging in old traditions you know. Even the twins think so too."
As if on cue, both Luke and Kieran whooped in excitement from the living room couch. Both betting which their Mini Boss would choose amongst the three objects on the floor.
"Mini Boss might become a badass hunter like Boss Lady, I bet my life on it she'll pick the Hunter's Watch!"
"Nu-uh! Mini Boss is a baby prodigy! My gut tells me she'd be an awesome engineer by picking good ol' Mephie!"
"And the Gemstones?" Sylus questioned, glancing at the twins with raised eyebrows. "I'm guessing it'll mean she'll succeed my place in Onychinus?"
"Bingo!"
"Right on, Bossman!"
Sylus shook his head with an amused smile, shooting you a look that read 'you believe in this?'
You let out a hearty laugh, shrugging nonchalantly as you gave your baby daughter one last squeezing hug before slowly placing her in front of the three objects.
Despite his neutral expression, Sylus waited with bated breath as his daughter slowly inched forward towards the three objects. His little daughter's eyes shine with an innocent twinkle, her small body crawling forward and for a moment, time still around them.
This tradition, the Zhuazhou ceremony, it shouldn't be this nerve-wracking as Sylus should've expect. But he'd be lying if he wasn't both curious and scared for the future of his precious daughter.
There's no doubt Sylus will support his daughter through whatever she wants for as long as she grows up. Even if one day they might argue on certain value, beliefs and whatnot. But by God, Sylus prayed it would never have to take a turn for the worse where the father and daughter end up against one another.
The thought of that kind of future would filled him with nothing but pure dread.
Multiple surprise gasps pulled Sylus out of his muddle thoughts as he was just in time to see his little daughter pushing the three objects away (whereas a relieved Mephisto flew away in an instant) and crawled towards him.
"Pa! Pa!" His daughter beamed brightly, reaching her chubby arms out to her stunned father. Her giggles echoing through the sudden quiet atmosphere and Sylus instantly picked her up into his arms, his heart swelled with affection when his baby daughter nestled into the warmth of his hold.
Luke and Kieran didn't even have it in themselves to feel disappointed when their Mini Boss didn't pick their chosen items. The heartwarming sight of their fearsome leader becoming such a gentle soul around his daughter made them hold back their tears - It was one of those rare moments where they got to witness their Bossman look so vulnerable, so loving and so.. human.
And it was a moment both of them silently agreed not to ruin, especially for you as the twins watched you quietly tiptoed across the room to sit beside Sylus.
"Looks like our Little Dove can't choose a future without her papa in it." Sylus finally tore his gaze from his daughter at the sound of your voice just as you laid your head on his shoulder. You smiled softly up at the awestruck daze in Sylus's eyes, your finger playfully yet gently poked his cheek. "Now you have one less thing to worry about, my dear."
Sylus blinked in surprise, before letting out a small shaky chuckle. One arm holding his snuggling little daughter while the other arm wrapped around your waist - pulling both you and his daughter closer into his embrace.
"Yeah.. I suppose so." Sylus murmured quietly, a tender smile graced his lips as he pressed a gentle kiss on his little daughter's forehead and then another kiss on your cheek, laughing softly as two of his beloved treasures returned the gesture of the affection tenfold, happy laughter and cheers reverberated in the cozy living room.
Whatever the future may hold, for now, the present moment should be savored more than dwelling on uncertainty.
And at that moment for Sylus, it is what he needed the most.
Luke and Kieran personally gifting Sylus a vinyl record, emphasizing this particular one to be extremely rare and special - especially with the attached note of your handwriting that wrote,

Sylus remained silent as he raised an eyebrow at the already unwrapped box of a single black vinyl disc, half wondering if the twins actually took their time to listen to his type of classical music just to buy this gift for him, before placing said vinyl record on the gramophone.
But Sylus was caught off guard by the melody that resonated in his office room; a serene tone, a familiar singing voice, your voice -
A recording of your singing resounding in the air, your sweet voice making his heart flutter with warmth and longing.
Luke and Kieran glanced at each other when their boss fell completely silent, only the sound of your singing surrounding the quiet atmosphere. They couldn't tell what Sylus was thinking with his back turned against them, but they could see the way Sylus traced his fingertips across the record player, him softly humming along with your voice.
They knew right then and there that they finally got their great boss the perfect gift they could ever think off, and all thanks to your (earlier hesitant) cooperation too. The beaming victorious smiled growing on their lips before both Luke and Kieran briefly froze up when Sylus's hands came to rest on top of their heads, their eyes widened at the sight of their boss's genuine small smile as he softly patted their heads.
"Thank you."
Best believe the twins teared up behind their crow masks when they left Sylus's office moments later, feeling like two proud kids after giving their father-figure guardian bossman the best present in his life.
thinking about snowcrow and zayne taking sylus to a night market to try out some street food and they head to one of the stalls that zayne's been frequenting all the way back from his days in med school where he introduces sylus to the auntie who owns it and has grown quite fond of him, who takes one look between the two and says "this must be the man who's got our dear doctor zayne wrapped around his finger."
to which sylus responds with a smug, cheeky grin that zayne can't decide whether he finds it adorable or he wants to wipe it off his boyfriend's lips with a kiss that will surely shut him up.
lovesick!sylus who always buys you the things you want without you telling him. if you pass by a store and point out something in a window with an excited âcute!â, he already has the shop name listed down in his head.
lovesick!sylus who loves putting a smile on your face. whether it be with gifts or actions. everytime you show up to onychinus, he always has something for you. âi saw it in passing. i thought youâd like it.â he shrugs it off. you knew he was lying but you went along with it anyway.

lovesick!sylus who absolutely hates when you leave on a mission for days on end with no contact. he ends up sending mephisto to keep an eye on you for him, unbeknownst to you. heâs sure you can handle whatever missions the association gives you, he just gets worried when you canât contact him.

âokay! i think luke went that way and kieran went the other way! iâll go look for luke!â you said before scurrying off.
lovesick!sylus who would usually think playing childrenâs games was beneath him, but he found himself letting go and actually having fun.
lovesick!sylus who found himself wound up in a closet again, his limbs tangled with yours as you tried to keep quiet. it was the twinsâ turn to find you and you ran to sylus, dragging him to the first spot you could think of.
you were peeking out from the door of the closet, panting very softly as you were catching your breath. sylus couldnât take his eyes off you. the carefree joy that your features held warmed his heart.
